Post pictures of your dolls acting out movie scenes or quoting movie lines - famous or not so famous! Any movie scenes are okay, as long as they're from movies anyone else may have possibly heard of. You may still want to include a short notice stating which movie it's 'from', though.
What a coincidence! I just did a shoot the other day was an homage to a film >u< Movie: Garden State Scene: Lupita's version: It's just silly really, but maybe it will kickstart this thread ^^; It sounds liek an awesome idea! Come on, more talented people than I! Get your movie pics out!
Another orly joke and the whole Labyrinth deal is off! Jareth, Dollzone 70, and Luci, Orientdoll So, my tallest and smallest ABJs. And our take on the Dance Magic scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYtpNBqmL-c
Well...no specific movie, but does a swooning damsel count? This is from a photostory I recently did and Seimei was explaining the basic parts of a fairy tale. So, maybe a something out of a generic horror/romance movie?
Great thread idea! ^_^ My apologies for posting many pics in one post. I have a couple of 'actors' in my family. Here's Nicholas, chasing a Swan, a la Hot Fuzz. I also recently did a photoshoot which was inspired by the Russian movie Pu-239 which stars the British actor Paddy Considine. I doubt many people will have heard of it, but I love it. Give it a Google, it should come up with a few images. (The whole photostory is here if anyone is curious - http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=224468)
The scene Life in a Box, from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. [vv Different angle vv] [Rosencrantz is actually laying on his DoD box 8D]
Yay - I like this game. The silence of the lambs. (c) Orion pitures corporation. Dollykim ~ I love that movie. I do not know the others movies. Sorry. But great pictures.
Starr and River as Sebastian Flyte and Charles Ryder from Brideshead Revisited. Not sure if this scene is in the 2008 movie, but at least it was in the original British TV series. The boys are resting after a picnic at the countryside. Imagine that they are dressed in 1920s clothing...
Can I say I love this game! So recently I did a photostory where my boy was acting like a zombie. The movie I used for insperation was Shawn of the Dead but that was more for the title!!
Okay, this is kinda cheating since he's a character doll, but... A scene from The Covenant: Becomes this shot, and yes, that's an orange scented candle, it was the best I could do on short notice:
Okay...so I'm not so big on the series, but the live action movie was AMAZING. Have Xue posing as Light Yagami in Death Note~ Sorry for the crap-quality of the photo...the light is messed up in my room D: And, yes...his desk is his case. OH HAY another dollzone Hid Model up in here! Lololo that pencil is almost bigger than him >:
I went to watch Detroit Metal City (D.M.C.) the other day. I LOVED it though it wasn`t following the original comic. My MSD that came with me decided he wanted to re-enact the home scene where the boss of the music company barges in and destroys everything in his room and his clothes. just to give a hint of the movie: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=bcu8W-3XjjM
If it's a severed head, I'm going to be very upset. (thrilled to death to be able to use that one-- I tend to use it whenever I'm opening a package, or at least once a Christmas, much to my family's chagrin I'm sure...) I'm a boy. I'm a boy. I wish I were dead. I'm a boy. Boy oh boy, am I a boy. Now, what am I gonna do about my engagement present? =^__^= Anneko
"AUGH. Alfred, bats are nocturnal!" - Bruce Wayne, Batman Begins. "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." - Rhett Butler, Gone With the Wind.
A response in two parts: Cain: INCONCEIVABLE! Lief: Why do you keep using that word? I do not think it means what you think it means. Cain = Viccini, Lief = Inigo, The Princess Bride
From the latest Alice in Wonderland, the March Hare: "It's the WRONG Alice?!?!?" That line runs through my head all the time!!
We actually did a whole Casablanca thing one time... here are a couple frames from it. "Here's looking at you, kid" "Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship"
"Rodents of Unusual size? I don't think they exist." Princess Bride! I want to eventually do a better photoshoot based off of this scene but when I found this thread I couldn't pass up taking a few shots....Kiwi and Mango didn't want to cooperate though. They wanted to sit on my shoulder and eat the peas I had waiting for them.
