I even buy a magazine but dont have any yo sd pattern (but only msd patterns or blythe patterns)... >< Are years that I try to sew something.... can someone help me? Some old patterns... once was more easy to find them... now everything is removed by the web.... Thank you for the help...
Do you have a scanner and a printer at home? You could try resizing those blythe patterns to fit a YOSD. I think 130 - 150% should do, depending on your doll size. As for finding new patterns, you could try etsy (for purchasing) or maybe pinterest, you can sometimes find some freebies there.
The first picture is from a Dollybird. I'll have to check my books to confirm which volume it is, but I remember the book has two YoSD patterns. I guess someone decided to scan the pattern and sell it as theirs.
Why not bite the bullet and purchase some good, well fitting patterns from the many available on Etsy and Ebay? Here's a link to one seller you might like:Welcome to MyOwnLittleWorld....it's a fun place to be! by MyOwnLittleWorld
It's not the same pattern but there is a very similar on on antiquelilac.com Tiny Fairies - Costumes and Wings - Tutorial It should get you the basics of the pattern that you could add details to.
adams harris has several patterns that fit various yosd dolls too. they aren't free but you know for sure what you are getting she gives the measurements of the doll she used as a fit model so you can see how close they are to your doll. she also has a couple of free patterns too to let you try them out. her holiday 2013 fits littlefees, and the holiday 2012 fits leeann (an ot doll but the measurements are close enough to many yosd-sized dolls to make it easy to adjust.
Thank you to all for the useful informations! I will take a look of every suggestion Myriamel : yes please, if you have time and find something please send me even a message ;_; sweetiemom: That's looks good as pattern... at the moment I'm saving money for my new yo sd and for now I can sew only free patterns >< I have another yo sd I got on January and yet she needs a wig ;_; but in future this pattern can really interest me, thank you for suggest me Waflicka: This is very adorable... it doesn't have the 1" x 1" square (I already tried to print some patterns from this website, but the printer is different from the european and it never come out in the right measurements. They use a USA Letter or something like this when create their documents.. my printer print A4 and even if I changed settings, yet, don't come out in the right size . I'm never 'lucky' with print and scaled patterns... that's why I always try only pattern that have a cm ruler or a 1" x 1" square that can help me to print it always in the correct size >_< but I could try to print it and see how is it (Maybe I could compare it with another yo sd pattern I have with cm ruler, to see if it looks similar as size) Edit: for example... see this pattern? It have a square 1" x 1" ! I can try this http://www.adams-harris.com/free/holiday_lark_2014_pattern.pdf auntbear: I wonder what doll is this pattern? Could be a yo sd size? I don't know that type of doll at all: Free Chrysalis Lark Clothes Patterns Christmas 2014 The magazine I purchased is "Dollybird" vol. 14. (at the time I bought this, I didn't own a yo sd yet, and unfortunately it doesn't have any pattern for this size doll) >< Maybe I could trade this magazine with another that have more patterns for yosd size, since I believe from now on I will get only yo sd dolls size!
