40–49cm Dolls Xaga Star Moon body arrives

Everything with this body went so fast! It was shipping towards me within a month after making the order as some of the new xaga bodies were semi-in-stock (when in white peach/certain bust size I guess) and the parcel zoomed through customs and got to me a good few days earlier than expected! Very good, I'm super impatient so that makes me very happy of course.


Pretty purplish box!

Nothing fancy in the inner packaging but I think the ribbon was a cute touch.

Semi-free! Unfortunately some tape from the bubble wrap was stuck on her bust so I had to rub... the... boob... to get the glue off... the resin feels silky : I also have to note that I find Xaga's resin to smell really nice, almost flowery? I think they've added something into the mixture.


The fingers are so slender and dainty! I love the longer nails!

The posing is pretty nice - everything has in-built locks (makes sense with the smoothness of the resin tbh - I wish some of my other bodies had that). Pulling the knees to the chest was effortless and she stayed in the position quite well. The stringing wasn't super tight, either, which I like a lot.


Unfortunately, she doesn't pass the "sitting on the legs" test as is quite common with similar bodies. Nobody has beaten my soulkid new double body just yet.


The locks in every limb help her balance well, although the ankle joints are a little too mobile and sabotage the stability a bit.


Easy hook system for both hands and feet! I didn't get any extra parts but it's worth it for the ease of changing clothes.


Butt dimples! The sculpting is lovely.

 

This is Billie's (Dollmore Judith Tara) 3rd body : I really wanted her to be tall and broad-shouldered so the body definitely ticks those boxes for me. White peach is a beautiful colour but unfortunately not a great match with her yellowed head (which I semi-expected but I don't really mind).


I wanted her to be taller than Nuoyi is on a soulkid double body (I have an older version, which I believe is a little taller than the newer castings?) and that worked out great! I'm very happy with the current trend of making taller 1/4 girls, I had been waiting!


I think I still need to get used to posing the body a bit but I'm pretty happy! If anyone has any pose requests, I'm happy to provide

Thanks for looking @marxwyn ! I only wish the hands were a tiny bit bigger and maybe not both exactly the same but they are so beautiful I don't really mind.

@Feathered Shadows - I do appreciate the elbows having some rotation as opposed to the soulkid new double body that has none, but I'm a bit vary whether the split joint is the best option ever given that I also have bodies that make such movement work with a solid joint. I was a bit surprised that some positions are still limited in sone angles even with the split there, though, but maybe it also comes from most posing working with locks and not smooth joints. It's certainly a different body to all others I've ever handled!
