Xaga Doll Waiting Room V.1

Don't I know it -sighs-. I didn't wait this long last time, they were pretty fast actually. I love their dolls, but as I said a long time ago I'll try not to order at the beginning of the year anymore. It just kills me lol. I think this wait is killing me more than another doll I ordered because I was expecting him sooner but with the other doll I am expecting to wait around five to six, maybe even seven months or more so I was prepared for that.
It's funny the things you remember too. I remember it still being snowy and reallyyy cold outside when I ordered him...now I have to have my window open all hours of the day or I fry haha. Now that it's a lot warmer outside I am itching to do a body blushing on my Elva boy when he arrives. I might not do it until after vacation though so there is less risk of messing up the blush work. Even though I'm kinda down about not having him yet I'm pretty excited! I find the longer I wait for a doll, the more I 'nest' (ie. buy more things for them over time)...and the more I 'nest', the more excited I become. (:

Gothic-Diurnal-Hime: I want answers too, we haven't been getting anything but vague e-mails or have been ignored as far as I've seen/heard. It pisses me off when people do that.

 

Maybe they will, it's always worth a shot.

 

Hmmm, she looks a LOT better than the promo pics made her. From owner pictures she does not have a badly 'ballooned' chest as I first thought. I think I still like the smaller bust better though. She looks nice.

 

Yah, just some reassurance would be nice or even an explanation of why they are behind. I like it when companies keep their customers updated on things. I heard from one lady that bought a doll from Latidoll that one of their machines were down for a bit so no dolls could be made but right when they fixed it dolls were coming out faster. Like I said, I'm kinda scared that they'll send the Xaga order at the end of June when I'm gone so I'll probably take my laptop with me and check every morning I'm gone just to make sure there is no mail from MOC. If it comes down to it I'll ask MOC if they can hold my boy until I can make it home. On the bright side though my DC Ada is at MOC! I got an e-mail yesterday saying she was on her way to them...then this morning I got an e-mail that she was THERE...they must of shipped late last week. I'm excited! I know I'll be even more excited when our Xaga order comes in. I think I might do a box opening video for Alex so if I start to get chocked up during it then just know that I'm really happy.

 

I hope we hear something too. I got my DC order on the 16th and I've been waiting for that a few weeks shorter than this order. Sad thing is, it looks like Taz (my Luts Coco) will be Alex's big sister instead of him being the big brother lol. I asked Luts how long it would be now and they said anoteher one to two weeks (yays!) before she ships. Taz IS one to mess around with her brothers shipping dates, it's just so like her.
My thought is, where did those two months we thought at the end was where our dolls were gonna come in go? Who asked MOC if they did about the order? I don't remember.

 

I'm kinda confused too. I think one of us asked them and they said they didn't hear anything from Xaga yet a while back...it would be nice if they'd get in contact with them though. I just might e-mail them asking again...I'm going to annoy them to death I think ):

Edit: Just sent an e-mail to MOC...and asked for their forgiveness for adding to some of the e-mails they already get during the day lol.

 

Hehe Yah, but maybe there is an update or they'll finally ask Xaga about the shipment? The worst they could tell me is that they still don't know. The best I think they could do is write them an e-mail in Chinese or something for us asking about it. I just want to know. I'll be pretty peeved if Xaga ships at the end of June, that'd just be too cruel and then I wouldn't be able to concentrate on my vacation or my family. We can hope I guess.

 

O.K. guys! I got an answer back from Lindsey from MOC, and I think it's pretty acceptable (:

"Winter orders always take longer then orders placed in the Spring - early Fall. This January though Xaga ran into a production issue that slowed things down a bit more. We are still waiting for our December order batch to ship, but Xaga told us that the dolls in that order are done, they just need to be sanded and strung, so they will ship out soon. They did not provide us with an update on the February order batch, they only said that it won't be as behind as the December order is."

Well, we know orders placed in the winter take longer but apparently wait-time has become longer right now because Xaga hit a production problem (nooosss!! ). At least we know now. My guess is they wont ship the February order until the end of June...when I didn't want them too! I hope they send them out beginning of July then so I don't have a freak out session the whole time I'm not home. Our waiting seems to be coming to an end in the next month hopefully

 

Happy 20th birthday when you have it and hope you receive her soon! I turned 20 in December myself

I'm hoping my Luts girl ships this week though (They told me she would but they are starting their summer event today so it maybe a few more days till she ships.). So yes, Taz will be older than Alex, at least in dolly form lol. Hope the fur wig making goes well, I'm excited to see Alma's progress.

 

It seems that way. It's been...five months? Six for me though (MOC, why you do order batches once every month or so? ). When I get my boy I'll be cuddling the crap out of him...no matter how weird that sounds. The wait has been so long that I don't care anymore, he's gonna be cuddled! lol

 

Yah, I'd like to see the wig one of these days.
Anddd an update on my doll situation. Alex's sister (KDF Coco)...IS now the big sister in body (not in story lol), because she has just been shipped as of June 4th! At least one of my dolls is making it home. I decided to spill the beans to my mom that I bought her and Alex...I did not say anything about Chitose -my merboy- (I will NEVER, for my health and sanity, tell her how much he's worth...she'd kill me rofl). So she knows about them coming in soon. It's funny, because I just talked to her about it today hahaha! So I spilled JUST the day she was shipped...which is kinda weird. Well, here is to hoping doll plans go well.

Edit: Anddd I decided to be bad and bought a LTF Ante off the marketplace...she was just too cute >.<. So now Taz is coming in along with my new Ante I'm naming Rin. Mom don't know about Chitose...and Rin rofl. Oh well, I said I'd save money when I got a real job so whatevs. I'm so excited though! I'm taking Taz, Rin, and Alex to my next anime convention. Rin will be a surprise to show my guy friend...he loves YOs and he's gonna flip with happiness.

 

Well, waiting has become killer (as you all know lol), so I had splurged on a secondhand LTF Ante. Here is a picture of my new girl Rin and my Nono, Yuuri. Rin is about five years old (In doll years, not character years) and makes Yuuri look like he's a white doll even though they both have normal skin! You've gotta remember, even if your hybridizing something from the same company (or others), it does not mean it'll look like this. She IS five years old so her resin has yellowed a bit over that time. Rin was made in 2008 and Yuuri in 2012. I guess this could count as a resin comparison between these two years with Fairyland NS mellowed resin and Xaga Doll NS non-yellowed resin. Anyways, I think Yuuri approves of his new friend.

 

Who knows. Rin has mellowed out over five years. Alma's head might be a bit lighter compared to Rin's. I suspect that you'd probably have to blush or get the body to mellow a bit before she's complete. I wouldn't worry too much yet. With the even yellowing all over Rin's body, she looks like a light tan compared to Yuuri. Fairyland resin has changed a bit in the last five years I'd think.

 

That would be awesome! I think Gothic-Diurnal-Hime and a few other people would appreciate that. Like I said, resin batches vary from year to year and can undergo a bit of yellowing. I wonder if the newer Fairyland resin would look nice with Xaga normal. Post a pic any time LeadLegato!

 

That's fine lol. Rin is my Fairyland Littlefee Ante. She is in a picture with Yuuri (Xaga Doll Nono) not tooo many posts ago. I hope the newer resin matches better. (:
I have more photos on my flicker of her and my other dolls as well. I always enjoy the stuff that pops up on your flicker too.

 

Well, that's a bummer. I've been trying to find a resin match or something close to Xaga for a while. I have quite a few dolls in normal skin. Xaga is really light. I have a Luts event head from last summer and a Luts girl just a week old and the resin is still darker than Xaga...I thought it might work sense it was really light . I have quite a few dolls from different companies in NS and PS. I'll do photo comparisons one of these days with them all. As far as I see though, my lightest NS doll I have is Yuuri (Xaga Doll Nono). I'd say you'd have to mellow out the body a bit Gothic-Diurnal-Hime. That, or do your plan B with what you know works with Fairyland NS. Thanks DeadLegato for the pictures

 

I think my sister's Dollmore Catish doll is in NS! She's coming sometime this week so I can see then. Excitement!

 

Yah, what <>Hirin<> said. Most of us are in the February order. MOC said that Xaga told them that the December order would ship sometime soon (this was quite a few weeks ago) and that our Feb. order wouldn't take as long...I think that's total BS though sense I just KNOW it'll take as long or longer. I go on vacation after this week...and still no Alex and no update on the Xaga order.

 

I hope we hear something soon too. If you read some posts wayyy back in the thread, I posted what Xaga said to MOC in an e-mail when I asked them about it. Apparently Xaga had a production issue in January and is soon to ship the December order and that they had to sand and then string the dolls and then they were done with that. They said nothing else really on the Feb. order though. I don't know if you'll be waiting as long as us though. I've been waiting 7 months? 6 months for everyone else...well practically 6 months for me to because of submission but whatever. Now I'm very antsy for when I leave on vacation after this week...I'll be stalking my computer every time I can get internet access. Hopefully everything will be good soon and I wont have to worry anymore.

I'm only waiting for two dolls now, Alex and Chitose. Both of them have unknown manufactoring times as of right now sense Alex is from Xaga (Yay! -_-) and Chitose is from Asleep Eidolon. I actually remember the very day I ordered my Elva, I said "Ready, set, preorder...now for the wait." and I remember saying the "preorder" part with a crack in my voice haha! Even back then I guess I unconsciously knew it'd be a long wait.
It kinda irks me though that some people have gotten their doll orders in about a month or two like usual direct from the company or through a Taobao dealer? I just wish they'd put MOC on top priority right now. I think this wait has gotten longer than Fairyland right now and they usually have a what? three to four month waiting period? Oh well...soon Kazuki, soon.

Wormwood: I have a Asleep Eidolon YOSD mermaid still being made and I THINK it's been six months for him too? I KNOW I'll be waiting even longer still for that one sense AE are notorious for long waits...I think the SD mermaids took around 9 months to get out 0.o. Also, I ordered a DC Ada in Jan. I think. She came in about a half a month to a month ago. I was waiting for about 5 to 6 months I think. They were slowed down from the events that they had and because of how many people ordered in the same time range. It also didn't help that they share a resin casting company with Dollzone I think...so Dollzone was behind as well. I wouldn't worry too much on it though, it depends on the time of year, promotions going on/events, and technical problems. I just hope we wont be waiting too much longer, I don't know how much worrying my brain can take just thinking about Xaga...who still has my Elva hostage haha.

 

It might be better to e-mail them directly, I saw that they actually put up a post that advertised that they had NEW Xaga Dollies to preorder. I don't like the anime headed one at ALL...it looks so fake...reminds me of a Barbie rofl, I only like the body on it actually. One of the dolls reminds me of my Nono boy, Yuuri. Hope to hear an update soon.
