Xaga Doll Waiting Room V.1

I want to know what's going on also. I really want to just sit my boy on my lap and cuddle him while watching some anime on my computer lol. For me it is NOW about 93 days sense I ordered him in total and about 68 days (I'm bumping ahead a day sense it's late in the afternoon.) sense we all ordered. I've been waiting for my DC order longer than Alex though, but I'd rather have Alex right now. I just got my Volks carrier today too and I was seeing how many dolls I could fit into the SD bag with pillows, head protectors, etc. when I got the thought that I wanted to try to put Alex in it to see how much padding I could put in or leave out to keep him safe. I want to take him and (when I order the new Luts KDF Coco) his sister Taz on vacation with me, I think there will be great photo opportunities down in Tennessee.

And YUP! No e-mail back for me either! Like I said, they probably don't even check their English e-mail accounts.

 

What's plan B? Wish I had a plan B lol. (Kazuki's plan B: "Taking everyone in the Xaga Doll waiting room and booking it to China to see what's going on and hopefully get our dolls.") ROFL, I wish.

 

Yup...heard something from them alright. All I got was this,

"Yes, yes, but America agent this place an order time late."

So I don't understand what they meant. So apparently MOC ordered late or something? That's not right.
I'm done waiting, his sister will be ordered next weekend and she will probably be home before he is! They need a better English rep or at least learn to say what they want sense we don't understand them!

 

-Sighs- I feel kinda cheated and upset now. My sisters Only-Doll girl shipped from the company and is on it's way to MOC...while we have been waiting LONGER than that. I'm happy she gets her doll but I did tell her yesterday that when the box comes in and she's opening it I'll be crying so that's why I told her no video taking or people get to see me bawl rofl. I can't hardly look at box openings anymore either or I tear up. I feel happy for her, but I think we should get our dolls too. I felt that something good was going to happen today, and I was sort of right, my sister is getting her doll in...while we are not.

 

I hope so too. I think it's ridiculous to be waiting long when I only waited my first time two months for one of their dolls. At least we know not to order from them in the beginning of the year. I fear that when MOC submitted their order to Xaga Doll that it got lost in their orders or something and they never started on it. I know I'll be even more upset when my sis gets her shipping notice for her Ddoll girl as well. TWO dolls and not a one for us. I'm gonna go into the pity party corner with all of you now .

 

MOC is not a bad dealer, I've bought plenty of dolls through them without a fall-through. It's the company on the other end of the dealer that can have the problems. I think that no matter if you went through a dealer or not it still would have been a long wait. From what I know in the DC waiting room there are people who bought their dolls straight from the company and through dealers as well and no matter what they waited forever anyways. From what I hear Xaga Dolls sculptor was someone MOC knew before hand and that person had sculpted dolls for a different company that they sold through in the past. I know my order will come in sometime but that does not mean I can't get mad/upset about it either. I don't think I would take the refund after the 27 weeks are up though just because the Elva boy sculpt is one of the sculpts I've been pining over ever sense his teaser picture came out. Besides, my happiness insured policy includes ordering Alex's sister from Luts this weekend and I KNOW it will only be about a month and a few weeks wait for her.
I think the day that I get the e-mail that Alex (and everyone else's dolls) are on their way to MOC I'll be screaming and running around the house like a fool. That's one of the things that makes the wait worth it though I guess. I'm pretty sure my family knows my 'dolly dance' by now...screaming and jumping uncontrollably with a big goofy smile on my face lol.

 

I guess our e-mail prompting worked a bit. They updated their site info and pictures and even added the jointed hands I was looking at about a month or two ago along with adding some of their clothes line to the site as well! At least they are kinda listening, though I wish they'd tell us a straight forward answer.

Edit: Something to kinda peeve me though. Someone on that Chinese site ordered an Anthony and posted the box opening on the 14th of this month. I don't know exactly when they ordered but it I was like "Really?!". Whatever, we are still "Waiting, for our dolls to come. What has-". A little Asenva quote to 'fit our bill' and to raise spirits rofl.

Also, I'm not too sure they check their twitter much. I know their facebook has a LOT of activity so it might be a better idea to ask there Gothic-Diurnal-Hime.

 

I remember asking a question to MOC I think right before I bought my first doll from Xaga Doll. Here is the e-mail I got back from them.


"Xaga Doll is owned by a sculptor who used to sculpt for another BJD company that we work with. He started Xaga Doll with the help and blessing of the company he used to sculpt for; they cast the dolls for him, (unlike most BJD companies they have their own casting factory). The company also has an investor in Hong Kong. Xaga Doll is based in Hong Kong, (that is where is sculptor lives), and the dolls are cast in near-by Shenzhen."

So apparently Xaga Doll has their own casting factory (I think they share it with the other company the sculptor was apart of though?).
I looked up the weather in Shenzhen and it looks like it'll be raining all week ;_;. No doll production then I guess.

Edit: I was looking at the date that I ordered and the date MOC send me the e-mail that my order had been sent for my first doll from Xaga, and if I think I'm right then we might get e-mails this coming week? I had gotten that e-mail on Sep. 28, 2012 and I had originally ordered on July 30, 2012. I think my order was submitted on that day or the day after that. Just me contemplating and hoping.

 

I want it to be true for sure. There is no telling though. I can never hope almost anymore...nope, can't do that >.>. My thinking is that sense they own their own casting factory they should be on time because they don't share the same place like DC and DZ does. I don't think they had a winter event sense I never got wind of anything. I guess weather has just been bad for them for months. We might get e-mails next week or we may not...depends on when they will get their butts into gear and send stuff out lol.
Also a little off topic with your heart (and that drum lol), I played flute for my competition marching band in high school, I enjoyed it for a while.

Ok Xaga Doll, I think it's time to release our pretty dollies, please?!

 

Ok...I kinda added up the working days sense I had also been counting weekends like a dumb dumb. I think I just like to have all my days lol. So here we are at about 52 working days? I think I added everything right. Another 8 working days and it'll hit the two month mark for that.

 

MOC never get back to you?

 

No, we understand. I think I'm impatient because I didn't wait this long for one of their dolls last time. It's actually been four months for me just because I ordered a month before my order was submitted (sadness right there lol). I have an AE doll on order that I know will take around 5 to maybe 7 months to complete so I think I've been patient. I was actually contemplating business days earlier today and as of right now we are at 52. Not too long before it hits 60 and then maybe a shipping notice sometime after that (excitement). I'd give Xaga Doll now 3 months because of the business days, which I think will even it out to 2 months in business days.

I think another thing is that I didn't have anyone to talk to the first time in this waiting room because I was one of the first few people who decided to buy one of their dolls right when MOC put them up the first time so I didn't have someone to freak out with lol.
Also, I have a Nono as well (boy version) and he's so cute >.<! Glad you decided to get a Nono arlais.

 

I think we are. I ordered in January but my (and a few other peoples) order was not submitted until February 6th I believe.
Who knows, in a few more years we'll finally maybe figure out an average turn-out time for their dolls.

Tomorrow it'll be 55 business days for some of us here. I got a faceup on my boy so I'm hoping, sense you said 50 days for a blank doll, that we'll get our dolls sometime in the first few weeks of May maybe. I was hoping sooner (like this week) but if your dealer told you that (and I KNOW with a faceup it'll take longer) then we can only expect to wait just a tiny bit longer, hopefully not too much longer though.

Well, besides this waiting that's killing all of us.......
New subject lol. I was going around the marketplace the other day and I found something that would look so awesome on Alex!
It's some type of harem outfit and it's a pretty red. I'll be putting different touches to it to make it "Alex" but other than that, I love it. I still plan on doing little stuff for him with the chainmail but I've been thinking of doing a sort of belt with it for him for quite a few weeks. Ahhh, soon my lovely, you will be mine rofl.

 

Ohhhh, what series is she cosplaying from/ what character?

 

Nice characters! I'll definitely want to see Alma when the cosplays are finished too!

 

Gothic-Diurnal-Hime: Really?! I looked on your flicker page and all I saw was her blank sleeping FL head? You sent her for a faceup, correct? I want to see!

I'm now just holding onto the hope of maybe a shipping notice at the end of this month or the beginning of next month -sighs-. I know my Luts girl will probably be shipped at least by the end of this month which makes me sort of happy. I don't want to run the risk of Alex shipping in June because I'll be on vacation for a few days...and that'd be just my luck for him to be shipped while I'm gone...and I want to take him with me along with his sister maybe lol. I ended up getting a cool outfit for him in the end and I kinda don't want to trick it out until he gets here so I know what will look good on him.
I heard from my sister that Ddoll is sending out her doll this week after only a month or so. It's kinda interesting, I want to see her new girl because I like their dolls (and I have one) and I also want to see if there is any amount, no matter how little it would be, of yellowing on my girl Maria. We'll see. I also want to compare Alex to Yuuri (Xaga Doll Elva and Nono) to see if there is any color change at all. I'm not really expecting anything (Got Yuuri last October) but it's always interesting to look at.
I think I've gotten to the stage where my brain thinks it's kinda a good thing I don't have Alex right now...it creates more time to say to my mom "I don't have anymore dolls on my shelf." lol.

Yah, I have nothing but time to wait as well. I just don't want something to happen in June where a doll ships the three days I'm away. I'll probably take my laptop or something with me just in case.

I was actually bad and decided to buy a Luts SD summer 2012 event head from someone when I saw it...I think he might become one of my characters, Tuesday Crow. He was originally going to be a different doll from Luts, but I'll see how it goes with his faceup and then I can say for sure if he is or not. If it comes down to it, then I'll invest in a body for him someday. It's kinda a good thing he has no body right now, because if he does become Tuesday I can only imagine the harassment he'd cause Yuuri rofl. By just being a head all he can do is talk the talk lol. I'll see how his head matches the resin of my other dolls so if I do end up getting a body for him in the future I'll have a few choices. Yay for floating heads though, I have two now. It actually makes me want to do a photo shoot with a few of my dolls playing soccer with the heads hehe.

I'm really excited for all the dolls I am getting and am especially excited when I get to see pictures of everyone else's dolls.

 

I'm a bit sad about this as well. I don't think a faceup should take toooooo long...then again it' the 67th or so working day as of today for some of us. Like I said, I just hope my doll gets here before June.
On another note, my sister's Ddoll she ordered was shipped yesterday...with faceup and everything. She ordered two dolls, one two months ago and one a month ago. She got one of them last month and her Ddoll was finished and sent yesterday. I think I'ma gonna steal her Ddoll girl for a little while so she can play with her cousin, Maria lol. I've practically given up on hoping every time I see a new e-mail in my inbox though. Sad thing is, Alex is one of the dolls I really wanted...so bad in fact that I ordered him the very same day MOC posted him on their site lol. Not too much longer I hope...stop holding the dollies captive!
