Xaga Doll Waiting Room V.1

Yay for new credit card! Now you don't have to worry about not having the card when you have to pay, that's a relief. Didn't you say that your phone also got taken though? Hope you can get a better one than you had ):
I'm glad my Elva is actually payed off. I only have one more layaway payment I need to pay on Monday for an AE doll actually. After that I'll be broke for another week or so until I get payed again.


Also, I don't know why Xaga Doll is not very popular, they are one of the most beautiful dolls out there in my opinion. I know they are relatively new (about a year or two old I think) but that does not mean they are not good quality dolls. People are missing out lol.

 

Yah, the weather thing is a bummer. I live in Ohio (about 20-25 minutes from the Indiana border) and it just recently (a day or two ago) hit 40 degrees. It actually just snowed about four days ago and quite a bit of it has melted. Right now it's a bit foggy so I had to drive though a bit of fog and rain to get to work tonight. I just hope it stays this way and does not go back down to 30 or lower later on in the night or I'll be sad. The last few summers were bad here too. I have to walk to the bank (I never feel like driving anymore sense I live in town.) and I would rather do it in nice weather. Luckily tomorrow when I have to put my check in the bank I don't need to walk sense my mom, sis, and I are going to the next town over to get medicine for one of our dogs in the morning (she has breathing problems) so I can get it into the bank before noon (when it closes). Then my layaway for my AE doll is done (:
But yah, I'm getting a bit impatient for my guy too. I'm not really worried and probably wont be until the end of this month.
I wonder if Xaga Doll will have some kind of event one of these days, could be interesting. (the limiteds with the bobo and stuff don't count lol)

 

That takes care of the phone problem too then I guess. It's nice that you have a friend that might be interested. I was just talking to one of the girls I went to high school with and she's kinda interested in them too. My sister IS interested (and has a YOSD that my mom got her for Christmas) but she is never really willing to do the research and look around at other stuff. I just got a DF-A head (the practice one for SD) and she wants to do a faceup on it. I told her that she needs to buy her own MSC, doll head, and research more on faceups before she is EVER going to touch one of my doll heads with paint or anything. MSC is expensive and I'm not willing to give any of mine up just yet...and I have a faceup on him that I kind of like actually >.>. She did pre-order a doll (not an Xaga Doll but that would have been awesome if she did.) and it's actually the first doll she bought with her own money and picked out herself. Not the kind of doll I would ever really get but we all have different tastes.

So my sister knows about all the dolls I have ordered and plan on ordering in the future...except my parents. They only really know of ONE doll I ordered and it actually is the Elva boy they know about. They don't know about my orders from DC, AE, or even my little Azone guy that's in the mail still (I even got in an Obitsu that my parents STILL don't know about...and my mom should know about it from the times she's come into my room to talk to me. I think she gets more focused on the bigger dolls I have than the tiny ones.) So I'll have to work my hiding magic when my other dolls come in so she does not see them. It's more so that I'm tired of her saying "you bought ANOTHER one?!". That's one of the reasons I do it. I don't even tell her the prices anymore (unlike when I got my first two) so she can't really say "You spent HOW much on it?!". The other day, when I received my practice head, she didn't know about it until the day it arrived...because I couldn't particularly hide that one...the stinkin' mailman decided to drive his truck UP TO the house (you can hear him put on the brakes no matter where you are in the house.) and so my mom was like "Oh! I'll go get the mail!" and ran off before I could do anything. She didn't make a fuss over the head so nothing bad there. I also hate it when she makes fun of a doll I absolutely love as I'm opening their box...that's one of the reasons I usually put music over the original audio in a box opening video. Now, for my other big purchases I'm going to be stalking the window in the front room before she even KNOWS about the truck stopping. I actually think our EMS truck is out earlier in the morning...around 9-10am. Which is just a little before my mom even gets out of the bed. I'm 20 and so shouldn't have to deal with the talk about how I shouldn't spend so much money on something (not like she's any better though lol). Here is to luck I guess.

 

Wormwood: Yah, the annoyed sighs are just stupid. I'm the kind of person that'll say "Get over it, it's my money, not yours so there shouldn't be a problem.". The funny thing though is that I think she kinda likes them. I'll take my Dreaming Doll MSD girl downstairs when shes working out on the treadmill sometimes and she does not even bat an eye. One other time, with my first doll, she actually held and walked with her around our back yard because I needed to do something real quick and she felt like holding her, that was a happy moment for me actually.

<>Hirin<>:I have a twin sister too lol. I was the one to actually introduce her, and another friend, to the BJD world. Now she has an SD on order haha. She WILL tell my mom about certain things she shouldn't know about...and of course that makes me mad. I think with the first doll (before she arrived, she was in the mail) my sister told on me to my mom (I had just turned 19). I remember telling my dad first, and the price of her. I think he was more preoccupied watching T.V. that he didn't hear ALL that I said and thought he was ok with it sense he looked cool about it. But low and behold when my mom came home -sighs-. Sooo mom came home and I talked about it with both of them at the same time (dad's second time) I remember moms gaping mouth and dad jumping out of his seat. Mom exclaimed "Did you buy it already?!" I said yes. They really knew nothing about them then and I was a novice owner too so I didn't know how to go about it like other people did...and I didn't have my DOA account to get info off of other owners either. A Supia Rosy? She's so pretty! I also remember seeing one of their tan skin dolls from another DOA user and I just LOVE it! I think I've got myself on a bit of a tan kick lol.

Yoshiii11: That's sad that you have to do that. I have all my dolls on a shelf I bought specifically for them (and a few other things >.>). When I get a doll in my motto is, 'They will go on the shelf and my parents wont know about them...unless they glance at the shelf and ask about a doll they've never seen before, then the beans will be spilled, but until then they will remain unknown.'. That's my motto with the obitsu I have...moms been in my room a total of three times sense I got her I think and in that time she has not mentioned her once...we'll see lol. I have PLENTY of things I love that my mom does not really like or totally approve of...like my love for anime and manga that she thinks is childish (Not like I haven't learned about another culture with it either right?) and even how I like to cosplay. She does not understand why I'd want to be 'someone else' for the day. It's a stress reliever actually.
I kinda wish I could call my FedEx company around here (I don't know where they are actually lol) and ask them to hold my dolls. I also stalk the front window...one because I get excited and two because I don't want anyone else to get wind of it haha. For about two of my doll orders I'm going to have to sign for them -sighs-. I wanted to make sure my Elva got to me in one piece and that no one would take him off the front stoop sense I want him so bad (and he's lots of money to me lol). And then there is my AE doll that I HAVE to sign for sense he's so expensive. I can just hear the doorbell now. That means I need to be extra sneaky. I don't actually need to be sneaky with my Elva sense mom knows about him but my AE, I'll have to make sure I get to the door before the delivery guy rings the bell.
Also, Candy is so cute >.<! I can't wait to see pictures of her. (:

 

I'm so happy! I just payed off my AE Mamie!.......Now everything would be a LOT cooler if we got notices that our dolls were on their way...I wants my Alex!! >.<

 

Yup. Same here. I have limited funds this week yet I'm trying to push my money as far as it'll go.
I've always wanted a Dollmore SD bag but the shipping was so bad that I never attempted to buy one...then I asked Iris on Fabricfriendsanddolls.com if she could order one in white for me and she said she was putting a Dollmore order in this week sometime. Now I'll be really happy if she really can order it for me. We'll see what else she says (: I just wont have much to give her until this weekend as I have had to give some of my money up recently. I also have to go to the doctor here in town later this morning sense something wont heal like I think it should.

But yah, I need to save a bit more money to pay off my mom and then spoil the rest of my resins...especially Alex when he comes in. I don't think I'll want to keep my Elva out of my sight for too long lol.

 

It'll be cool to see one Elva as a boy and one as a girl (Your girl and my boy). My friend says he wants to get an Elva girl actually. The head makes a cute girl or even a very cute boy. Congrats <>Hirin<>! Last payment accomplished! ^-^

 

PrincessTomato: I remember seeing a video of you and your Hecate girl a while ago. I was the one who asked if we were saying Xaga Doll the right way lol. I can't WAIT to get ahold of the 1/4 body! My YOSD is one of my greatest posers and his jointing is awesome. I kinda wish I could see Hecate in person, she's so pretty ;_;.

Wormwood: I am practically bouncing in my chair every time I think about our dolls coming in (I want my boy and I want to see lots of pretty pictures of everyone else's dolls too). It's been about 45 days sense the January order was submitted (71 days in all for me sense I ordered long before the submission.) I actually want to get Alex more suitable clothes for when my family and I go on vacation to the Smoky Mountains in June sense I want to bring him on the long car ride with me. Sense I should have my doll bag by then I'd be more than happy to take him (:
Now just to figure out what different outfit I want him in. I hope they finish the order soon, the impatient thing is starting to happen lol.

 

<>Hirin<>: I'm getting impatient too I hope we wont have to wait much longer. If they decide to send them out in the middle or end of April I wont be happy. Sad thing is I already have two other dolls I found that I want. One I think I'll wait until later in the summer or sometime in the fall to order him sense I should have more doll money saved up by then if nothing happens. I'm planning on ordering the new Luts Kid Delf Coco in another month or two. Just before we leave on our family vacation. She's so adorable! I think I'll fit her into Aelx and Versus's storyline as Alex's sister. I wanted him to have a sibling (sister) in the beginning anyways. Here's to waiting -sighs-. For me it's been about 72 days in all and around what...around 50 some odd days sense we all ordered? I don't know sense I can't see my doll board on my wall. I keep track of who I ordered and how many days it's been from the submission date and the date I ordered. But yah, I remember it's somewhere around there.
Ammifina: Welcome to the thread. Congrats on the girl! It seems that most of everyone is getting the Elva on a girl body. Mine is gonna stay a boy. I have so many plans for him >.<. Like I usually say, pictures and stuff when you get her. Even better, a box opening video if you can! I'm going to try to do a video when Alex comes in and try to not put music in it. I HAD to put music over my Nono box opening sense my mom can't keep rude comments to herself. I'll try to do it in my room though so I wont have to do that. If you can see from all the posts I make, I practically stalk the Xaga Doll stuff lol.

 

The Elva is prettyyy. I wanted a pretty boy so that's the sculpt I wanted lol. He will actually be my first MSD boy I'm getting and will also be my third MSD, my other two MSDs are girls. It's a good thing you can order the girl or boy body for whatever head you want. The Elva looks nice as either a boy or a girl, it's a diverse sculpt. I'm so excited!
I actually just got the wire to make Alex's chainmail today...though it's not totally what I wanted so now I'll have to use a different method to make the rings. I was going to start tonight but I think I'll start on it tomorrow, I'm tired and I don't think my dad would want me to mess around in his tools. I'm 20, not 5 so I DO think I know what can kill me in my own garage lol.

 

I hope we all get our notices soon too.
Yah, I remember seeing a video on some guy making chainmail once and he showed a small portion he had done...that he said took around 20 to 30 hours to complete. I hope it turns out well, as long as I find the rest of the stuff in the garage I'll have it made (:

 

Well, I bought the wire but I think I'll take it back. It was not really what I wanted and was not aluminum so I'd have to use something to coil it. I just bought pre-made rings so I can get the outfit done faster. I just don't have the right stuff to coil the wire or I'd go ahead with it. My rings should be in by the 1st so I can start on it then. If I had the right tools then I wouldn't have to do this -sighs-.
Well, only two more days after today until April...come on Xaga Doll!! We need our dollies!

It's been now almost 60 days, two months, sense quite a few of us ordered. I'm getting antsy. I want to take Alex to my first doll-meet. Alexxxx!! Why you not here?!?!
Also, that's cool, gotta have an Xaga Doll hanging with some Dollfie Dreams lol.
On a brighter note I'm a bit farther in Alex's chainmail making. Hope my other order for those copper colored ones come in soon too.

And yahhh, I'm SURE I made the February deadline lol. I ordered a month before they even placed the order (1-10-13) So I know it went in.
Three months already -shivers-. I've never waited for a doll this long before. I know my mermaid boy will take another three to four months but I was expecting that. I'm not expecting to wait much longer though and if I do I might be bummed for a while. I actually felt like crying for the last two days even thinking about Alex lol. My sister just ordered a Ddoll Misora the other day and that just put it into perspective that I don't have him and that I want him baddd. Gosh, even a whole three months after Christmas the companies are STILL slow!

I got a few links done with that chainmail and now am waiting on the last bit to arrive...wonder if I'll even use it sense I got a different size. I might use it for decoration on him.

Yah, I want you to get Alma's body too. I want to know how it looks from another owners perspective...and I want to see the jointing lol. It's cool that your going to make her wig and shoes...and that you made beanies lol. The chainmail is coming along ok I guess, I just want Alex here right now so I can fit it exactly to him.
With all your graduation stuff going on it would be a nice present to yourself to actually get the rest of her I'm sure.

 

I'm kinda sad too, more depressed actually. I want Alex (and everyone else's dolls) to come in. Also, I inquired about a dollmore carrier from dollmore's only US retailer and she got back to me the first time, the second time when the order for everything she got was suppose to come in I e-mailed her again about three days ago, nothing back. All I want is an awesome bag to take some of my guys to my first doll meet in. It's kind of upsetting sense I was hoping to get an e-mail from her at least a few days ago. I've already read a bad review or two today. It just depresses me. So with that, and non of my doll orders coming in when they are suppose to, I am not happy.

 

I've tried several times...I was going to line it with this cardboard I had but it somehow got thrown away a few weeks ago. I'm tired of going in circles and being led on falsely so I'm just going to go with what someone suggested me, Volks USA. I'll get one of their SD bags. Shipping I don't think is real bad and it's less than what I was originally thinking I was going to pay. I want a bag I can kind of trust not to move my dolls around. I decided that with all the dolls I have I'd rather spend the money to keep them protected than not. I'd probably cry if something were to happen to them. Especially my limited dolls and Xaga Dolls. I love Xaga too much lol. I'm feeling better today, I guess I was in a depressed mood for a few days. I'm glad that person suggested Volks or I might be no where right now. Funny thing is I kinda trust them yet I've never bought anything from them before. I guess it's because I know they are a good company.

Yah, I hope we hear from them sometime soon...preferably THIS or next week maybe? I still want to take Alex to that doll meet. That's one of the reasons I want to have the bag. I might have a few other dolls in there as well sense we'll be walking around a bit. Yuuri (my Xaga Doll Nono boy) will definitely be going, I just need his partner in crime, Alex lol.

It turns out I wont be able to go to that doll meet. I'm really disappointed. Instead I have to go to the Memorial Coliseum with my mom and sister because I promised I'd go to this purse sale with them on that day...in the same city as the meet ;_;! I don't even DO purse shopping lol. They change that place up so much for sporting events as well...wish I was going to see hockey instead, that'd make it better in my book haha. Oh well. Maybe next time when Alex actually decides to come HOME I'll actually be able to go to the next meet.

I'm thinking it IS do to the rainy season. (I think Ddoll was a fluke because from what I've been hearing from my sister, a few of their workers have been sick...and they are a Korean company, not Chinese, if that makes a difference rofl.). DC said they were working on their 2013 orders now so maybe Xaga Doll is too? One person said that they contacted DC and they said that their order from them should be shipping out in the middle of this month or at the end of the month at the latest. Hope this is true for Xaga also.

 

Probably would be a good idea. I don't know why I didn't think of doing it myself . Maybe if you ask the status of MOC's order (or where ever you ordered from) then we might get more of a clue. OR even ask why it's taking longer than expected. I'm tired of waiting and I'm sure you all have just about had it too. My guess is that it is a bad time to order in the beginning of the year /:

I also just sent two e-mails to the ones you said worked. Lets see if they get back to us. They really need to beef up their English web page. It would be nice if they did, it's a pretty site.
