Hi I was going to see if I can be any help I've done quite a few layaways with her anyway what part of Europe do you live in ? The higher shipping fee is only for eastern Europe and a few other places which if you live somewhere with a higher shipping fee instead of free shipping you get a 50% discount on your order Oh also if there is a doll or part not listed on their website it's best to email them this is also a good way to check prices since the sale price usually doesn't show till the item is in your cart

I got an email from Legenddoll last night. They have an anniversary sale from July 1st-15th. All non-limited dolls are 8% off. They do carry all the Xaga dolls.

 

Just for Clover Singing. It's actually on one of the first banners on the main page. It says Free Shipping on Orders over $100. But... I just noticed, there is a disclaimer that if they are shipping to an "expensive" shipping area, you would only get a 50% discount. (As noted though, the prices on CS seem to be higher than other sites. So you may want to double check what you're paying before you place an order.)

Does anyone know how long it can take for a doll from Xaga to arrive? I'm thinking about a Xaga Doll Zoe, the boy version, but it seems like such a small company so I don't know how long it will take, or if the company is actually good to order from. What's your experiences on how the body poses and the stringing?

 

Mine took 2 months from Legend Doll.
It poses very well.
I don't know about stringing because I asked it to be shipped unstrung.

 

I have just ordered a little girl and they told me it will took arround 2 months or a little longer.

I am curious, I was told their dolls can take up to 11 months to get here, it has already been about 5 months, the last time I bought from them the doll was in stock. How long did it take for some of you? I did get both from Mint On Card.

 

I've seen some dolls come through really fast. I've been waiting for my Purple Black Obsidian July (ordered through legenddoll) since 5/3.

 

Gotcha. I suppose we shall see. I was told December or January but honestly who knows. I have been playing "Which will come first the clothes or doll."

 

This. My Bobby arrived after only 12 weeks; but I've seen tons of other people who waited 4 months or longer for their dolls.

 

I would love to order a purple black Zoe, but I want my July to arrive first.

I don't believe so. I think that this is the only Xaga discussion at the moment. (I tried searching for Xaga discussions but this was the only one that came up.)

As far as clothes go (and I'm just spit-balling here 'cause I don't own any of the Red Obsidian dolls myself), I'm thinking that most 1:6 scale fashion doll clothing would probably fit them pretty well (Ken, Ever After High boys, Pullip Taeyang, etc.). They're the same scale and appear to have similar proportions.

Do you guys have any comments about the bodies and their posability? I really do like how they look.

 

May is so pretty! I just received my July today and she's beautiful. I ordered her on the B body with large bust.

How would you say your July poses?

 

I haven't played with her that much yet, but I really like what I've seen so far. She came strung with the heel legs, so she hasn't been standing at all yet. I have to change them when I get a chance.

 

Ahh ok Good to know! If I order May, I'm going to have to ask that she be sent with flat feet. I have never restrung a doll before, so I'll just survive without heel legs! Haha

My Zoe Girl just arrived at my boyfriend's without even having had a shipping notice from legenddoll - I wasn't even expecting her to be finished until mid October!
Also: no customs yessssss.

But I wasn't expecting her for another 2 months, so she's going to be blind and naked and bald.

So please, I need to know, clothes and wigs and eyes that will fit?

 

Aah Zoe boy is one of the few boys out there that I really want. That is such a sweet sculpt!

I wish I could help you with the clothes question, but I don't have one of these lovelies yet. I think she should probably fit standard SD clothing, like Luts SDF or Volks SDGR, but don't quote me on that. Best wait for an owner to chime in.

 

Here's Marceline, the Xagadoll Zoe girl on type B body with medium bust

She isn't in any of her own things as I wasn't expecting her yet, but clothing wise I have noticed that SD13 clothes seem around the best fit - the dress she is wearing is for a feeple60 girl, but is a little small in the bust and a bit short.

The resin is amazing quality, and very very smooth, seam lines seem to have been removed but the resin is still almost shiny; it's lovely.

Body stood straight out of the box which is always nice. The limbs are strung too tightly and the torso too loosely, but that is a problem for another day.

Very happy with my doll and can't wait to share her with you more as she gets her own belongings

Would you take full body shots (nude) from front and back? I'm really curious about the body proportion.

She does! She's going to be restrung soon - she came with very tight limbs, but a very loose torso - but even with how she came from the company, she posed beautifully from the second I took her out of the box

Afraid not - the mobility joint is only really for turning the legs; you can jar against it for certain angles, but it's best not to.

I'm extremely tempted by Xagadoll Cecilia! I haven't seen any owner pictures of her yet, but that probably won't stop me if I decide to get her. I asked AC if she comes with hands that aren't fists, she emailed me this morning to say that she'll ask.

 

I'm really hoping to order a Riko sometime this year! I just love those big eyes and that little mouth~ If I succeed in ordering her she'll be my first doll that I've bought with simply the intention of dressing her up in cute clothes with no intricate story or dolly universe

I'd love to see owner photos of some of these sweet girls. It seems to be quite hard to find owner photos from this company, such a shame because all their dolls look so lovely.

 

Hi! I'm saving to buy a Ted SP (she's so beautiful!) and I've been talking directly to them via e-mail, but it's so hard I want to buy her through layaway (I want a customized order and other dealers won't take those kind of orders) and the answers always take a lot of time. At least I got the layaway fees (but it took a whole mont for them to answer), so now I'm waiting for the account, another month waiting and insisting patience will get me a new doll soon! (or at least this year)
