After priming a sculpt is it possible to add on to it? I plan to use apoxie sculpt after priming and i was wondering if anyone else has tried this. Will the apoxie sculpt stick to the primer? or will it just flake off?
I had no problems adding Milliput (I think it's similar to apoxie, but I don't have any idea) after priming, I'm fixing/adding and priming and adding everytime because I see better the mistakes if everything has the same color and I use my priming paste for filling little gaps, too. And if you add a little bit of glue it'll stick better. Hope this helps:uhhuh
Thank you yes actually this helps me A LOT. I was under the impression that once you prime the piece thats the end. If you dont mind my asking what type of glue?
I sculpt over the primer all the time with apoxie, have had no issues. If you are worried you can always sand off the primer where you want to build up, that way it's more obvious where you need to add. I usually mark with a pencil and often forget spots because they are not so visible.
