WonderCon:Anaheim 2015 BJD Panel/Meetup Saturday, April 4 6pm-7pm

    1. Hello, All!

      This year we're planning our first formal panel/meetup at WonderCon in Anaheim! WonderCon runs April 3-5, and the meetup is scheduled for Saturday the 4th in Room 211. New to the panel is Hideyoshi Shigeta from Volks, who will be briefly giving us information about the upcoming LA Dollpa!

      You must have a membership to the convention to attend, as the panel/meetup is in the convention center. Tickets went on sale this past Thursday, and are available here: http://www.comic-con.org/wca/badge-sale The meetup will begin with a short intro/Q&A, then the remaining time will be spent as meetup and photo time. Please keep in mind that there are no sales allowed in any of the program spaces.

      Edit: We now have a time, which shouldn't conflict with anything in the Arena (because that ends at 5:30 so they can start Masquerade setup).

    2. Hmmm... I went the past few years, but I think I missed the Pro badges this year (was kind of busy with the whole cancer thing... still am, actually--so probably can't make it anyway).

      Great that you are organizing a panel at Wondercon, though. Maybe next year!

    7. Oh... Just got the info for Pro-Reg. I got one. Although I'm not sure if I can make it or not. I'm still undergoing chemo, which is seriously no fun... (It doesn't seem to have stopped me from buying bjds, though! Wow, I have it bad!)

    9. Thanks. I'll have to see. But the timing probably won't permit me to go this year (getting all the chemicals shot into me on Friday and need to go in for a shot on Sunday to make sure my white blood cell count doesn't drop).

      It's a fun con, though. I've gone the last few years and really enjoyed it.

    11. Oh... My chemo got moved to Monday due to Good Friday/Passover... so maybe I'll head there on Saturday after all! (I might poop out, but usually I'm feeling pretty decent at the end of a cycle, so I'm hopeful.)

      Any dolls you want me to bring? I've got a bit of everything...

    12. Volks stuff would be good, since Hideyoshi will be there :D Bring your Realpuki so we can get pics with mine.

      I'm bringing Moira and Lex for sure, not sure who else in the non-tiny group. If you need a place to stash your dolls before the panel, let me know.

    17. Ooo I was there next to Cobblepot, haha. Thank you for setting this meetup, it was my first one :lol: I sort of regret not bringing my BJD and it was also my first time at WonderCon. I hope you'll be at the San Diego BJD Con this year Clochette :XD:I would like to attend more meet ups within LA and San Diego areas! Yay!
