Can I ask Luna spam? ^^; Please? (I am getting rather impatient as it gets closer to possible date of WithDoll finishing my own Luna and sending her to me..)

 

I don't have any Luna spam! I can give some new thread spam with Priscilla though! Hopefully soon I will be able to spam my WD Emma! She is having her face-up done at the moment.

 

Anyone know if infinite love kimonos are a good fit on withdolls?

Oh okay that's fair enough. I was pretty curious since my WD girls are bigger than most of my dolls. So I was curious about your comparison.

Oh wow, what I difference! My WD girls are actually my biggest dolls so it is kind of funny to see!

 

I didn't know she'll be this tiny compared to id boys when I ordered her:p They look so out of scale!

 

Personally I think SD and MSDs do look out of scale together. I have seen the odd time were it is kind of okay. However for the most part I think they are a completely difference scale.

I just ordered one today though, a Withdoll Aiden in Brown tan but just as a head and then the girl body ; v ; So I was wondering if someone could spam some Brown Tan color? I'm so excited to have a second tan doll in my family ; u ;

 

I have joined discussion threads before I have owned the doll, since people talk about the dolls and I feel you can learn a lot about them. Also people are far more likely to know the answers to questions you have and to be honest picture spam helps me with the wait. Since well in a way it can remind you what you are waiting for.

Liebestraum: Well they are completely different scale so it's no wonder they don't look good together. :'D Childlike MSDs go well with SDs if they are portrayed as children, but since Withdoll makes mature MSDs they just don't work with SDs. I'd like to buy a Soom Idealian51 one day in the future to hang with my Withdoll group, if they just released one in a nice gray tone and a handsome face... It's the tallest "MSD" with Souldoll's Vito that will work with them in a same scale.

 

Yeah, mature MSD's can throw things off a lot. All my girls are mature/Slim MSD's portrayed as adults, and it is why I don't own any Blue Fairy dolls. Even though I really like them and think they are cute, because they look like child MSDs and would look weird in my collection.

Plus personally I think that MSD's with SD's only works if the children are meant to be quiet young as well, because of the huge height difference.

 

Hey guys! I am thinking of getting one of the new knight of light dolls but im wondering how does the armor/headress attach?Does anyone have dark knight priscilla? Does the armor clip on or are there magnets? Also isn't it funny that they call one knight of light and dark knight but it totally seems like a reissue on a different doll?

 

The headdress attaches with two magnets. They're inside the head in Priscilla so I guess they modded them to the other two as well. It's a bit wobbly so I put two extra magnets on the headdress to make it stay better. The pauldrons have an elastic, the tassets have a hook (outfit needs loops) and the leg armours are separate leg pieces.

I made the order 22 November. I think I crossed the 1 month point by now. Few more weeks before my 3 boys arrive

 

I ordered my Nana 26th October but I also got a face-up. Should I be expecting shipping soon? I think it's been 57 days. :P
Still haven't sorted out a wig and kimono for her.

 

I finally have some picture spam of my WD Elf Hunter Emma:

 

Beautiful Emma, she's looking fierce! I love the contrast of the red eyes with the white hair.

 

It was the almost grumpy look on the default face-up on the elf hunters that really made me see the potential with this doll! I wanted her to look grumpy/angry! I am happy you like her, I went for the red red white wig combo because she is a a dark elf and I think it looks so good.

 

I don't mean to barge in on this thread, but I got my first order from Withdoll today and I think I got the wrong sculpt. I ordered an Angela, but I think I got a Rachel. Does that seem true to you guys:

That being what it is, how is Withdoll with customer service? Has anybody had to work with them on any order mistakes? Thanks for sharing any information!

I have found WD customer service to be really good actually. I have never dealt with a huge problem with them but they have always been helpful when I have contacted them. My friend who has also a couple of WD has had good experiences as well and she had to get replacement parts. The respond much quicker on their Q&A board rather than E-mail though.

That's a big relief to hear. Thank you for the advice. I sent an e-mail, but I might cross-post it to their board then.

Although I'm hoping they can offer some kind of resolution on this, this doll is in the Sweet Green skintone, so I wonder if that would pose additional problems (in terms of replacements). If I would have to send the head back to Korea, I think I would just be more keen to keep what I've got. Rachel is a beautiful sculpt even if she's not what I ordered. I would be pretty hesitant to order from Withdoll again though, if we can't work something out... I'll let you guys know how it goes!

 

I can see why you would have an issue with ordering again in the future if they didn't help you. I am pretty sure they will. You never know it could be that they mixed up two orders. I had that once with Featherfall when I got my Iruhi. The me and this other person got two of the same ear! So one of us got two right ears and one got two left.

It is worth contacting them, since it is a mistake on there part. I am sure they will be friendly enough about it though. I think they are having a special skin tone event on at the moment for Christmas, so it might not be too bad.

 

It's good to see an msd in sweet green in any case I'm going to order in that color too!

 

Maedwe, sorry to hear that you got the wrong head. But I'm sure Withdoll will provide a solution for you, so don't worry. But do use the Q/A board instead of an email. It even says so on the pop-up on their page. I don't think they usually answer emails because they get lost in their inbox/trash really easily. The q/a board is a sure way to know that they got your message because you see it yourself too and they answer those in order.

Yes, the color is very nice! I think you will like it a lot. It's very pale and minty.

Thanks for your advice. I did post to the Q/A Board because you're right; it even says it on their website. I missed that the first go around somehow. They haven't gotten around to responding yet, but I feel reassured thanks to you guys.

Maedwe that is a Rachel, indeed. Withdoll is good, they are just slow to answer, so be patience. And good luck! Please let us know how this goes!

Today I've started the process of giving my Haydee (Eliza) pointy ears. Going to sculpt most of the pointy parts first to see how it looks before actually doing anything to the doll
