Resin Comparison Withdoll Honey Brown

    1. Got my Withdoll Aiden in the mail today! Since it's a new resin color I'm hoping this can be helpful for those that are looking to get a Honey Brown doll in the future. :) It's honestly a gorgeous color!
      We've got the following on the chopping block:
      • Iplehouse Real Skin
      • Iplehouse Light Brown
      • Fairyland Normal
      • Fairyland Tan
      • Withdoll Honey Brown
      • Akagidoll White (creamier than Fairyland white)

    4. Pretty much! I like to call it a peachy tan haha, most tans are a very orange/yellow based brown, so getting a more pinkish dark resin color is honestly really nice!

    5. Thank you for posting these photos! I've been hoping to see owner photos of the Honey Brown skin and I'm happy to see that it's such a nice shade of tan! :D

      I hope that you don't mind me asking but would you happen to have a tumblr blog? I'm one of the co-runners of the Withdoll fan blog on tumblr and we would be happy to reblog these comparison photos, as I'm sure that they would be useful for many Withdoll fans.     7. Follow up post, now that it's daytime (last night when I opened and posted photos of Aiden it was...well, night): Yesterday he looked more pink than my tan fairyland girl (both in person and on camera) and now that it's day he looks more brown than her in indirect natural light. Take a look:

      ^Top to bottom, left to right: Iplehouse Real Skin, Iplehouse Light Brown, Fairyland Tan, Withdoll Honey Brown, Fairyland Normal. All photos taken in natural light.

      It's interesting how different resin can look depending on the lighting.
      Or maybe that's just Fairyland's resin changing in appearance (it is a pretty complex resin color....) based on lighting and Withdoll's not changing. Hmmmm.

    8. Thank you again! It almost seems like Honey Brown is somewhere between Real Skin and Brown Tan. It seems like a lovely, very natural color. I really hope they offer it again soon!

    9. The pictures arent showing up, but how would you say fairyland tan matches withdoll honey brown? I was looking at a body for my tan minifee head but would like to see how well they matched before I buy it ^^'

    10. Oh I'm so sorry the images are broken!! I don't have the doll anymore unfortunately so I can't really say but I still have the photos:

      And I do currently own a brown tan Withdoll if you wanted me to check on that. But unfortunately as you can see here the Fairyland tan and Withdoll honey brown doesn't match :(

    12. Sorry for the delay! Here's the photo comparison between Fairyland tan (top) and Withdoll's Brown Tan (bottom). Unfortunately they do not match...
