Well, 30cm toothpick broke ;_; So, I decided to remake her, only bigger. Pretty muchily exactly the same, just larger and in more detail. Based on her head size, she's somwhere between Unoa and Barbie size. I'm aiming to sculpt her, head and body, paint her and such. I plan for her to be of African descent, since that's not really common round these parts :p The head is presently undergoing sanding, especially around the eyes. They were originally more like dreaming eyes, but after baking I decided against it. She doesn't have ears yet; I always add those after the first baking. And her eyebrows are sculpted on. I've always been attracted to dolls with sculpted eyebrows :3 X3 I'm quite proud of her little teeth! Original post:
She is very cute, and seems well proportioned. And yes she does have a pleasantly round bottom. I am not sure but I think those circular marks come from not kneading the clay well. I get them to though.
So far, so good! I really like ToPi's lips The circular marks seem to be a natural problem with Super Sculpty. They're often referred to as "moonies". Some portions of S. Sculpty will clump while baking. I don't really know why. Luckily they don't have any effect on surface texture. One thing I've noticed though, moonies don't occur very frequently when sculpty is boiled in a water-filled container in a microwave. Perhaps they are caused by uneven heating in an oven.
Well, I made one arm ^_^;; It was difficult. I am really challenging myself and the posability of this doll. XD I want a VERY posable 30cm doll... and its proving to be a challenge! So. The arm is wonky, of course, an needs tweaking before its posing just as I intended. But even so... ^_^ I'm pleased with the extent of posing, being such a small doll! It's official. Toothpick is going to be a girl. I want her to fit in Barbie clothes, and for the most part she does... though I need to add SOME boobage. When trying on clothes there was some... lack of satisfaction went noticing she didn't fill out the barbie clothes. Didn't look very pleasing to the eye, the way the clothes fold and wrinkle. SO... no only is Toothpick a girl, but she's getting a boob job XD
She looks really nice! I love how you've done the jointing on her arms in particular - the detail and shape of her arms is really nice.

Thanks! And her arm and torso piece broke. I plan to fix it later, but at the present time would much rather work on a new sculpt.
Well, here's the start of Toothpick2's body!! x_x She's so fricking heavy, I'm gonna have to hollow her torso parts out some more. Her right arm is very wonky, her right hand sucks and will be resculpted, and her whole body need some prettying up. My main concern up to this point was posability; now its aesthetics. Her three-piece torso.
She's gorgeous! I love her torso, she looks very well posable! and her hands, they're so beautiful..I like the right hand, too ^^ wow, this is really a gorgeous doll, I can't wait to see more of her
