Hi there and thanks so much for having me. My name is Kim Basta, and I've been designing and creating my own line of hight quality, whimsical teddy bears since approximately 2003. Prior to that I dabbled in polymer clay a bit. I love sewing, miniature crochet, ribbon work, and tatting.

A few years ago ago I came across BJDs. I'm not at all sure if I'll actually make one, but I am crazy-curious about the process! It's been quite some time since I've picked up any polymer clay, buty I just may give it a go. I'd like to have someone not quite so "fuzzy" to make clothes for from time to time.

I'm a former ballet dancer, non practicing lawyer, wife to one, Mom to three, Alice freak, lover of whimsy, and I have a fascination with historical undergarmets!
