(Link to the list of Wiishu's other DoA stories.) Den of Angels enables yet one more long distance friendship I have a request. I have here two differently sized strips. I fear I've been making my "panels" a bit too large. I had one of those HD monitors and I've been sizing it for them...which I fear might make them crazy big on other screens. Could I get feedback? which do you prefer, post #1,...or the rest. UPDATE: acting on feedback, I've gone back to the 600x600 format. I'll see about lightening them up a bit, but for now: have fun!
Oh, Wiishu -- I'm cracking up over him diving headfirst into the envelope, then wearing it on his head! Hope you get a chance to post the rest of this story soon.
aaaah i want more! so adorable. it made me smile, especially when he tells the bear to watch the shell and the card.
Wiishu sends hugs and hearts to Alegro! I'm not sure what he's planning, but I have a feeling it's going to involve glue, which means Mr Woos supervising and me wielding the sticky stuffs! I don't know if it's clear in the pic, but that little bear is simply amazing. It's a little rubbery material, but the detail is wonderful. Going through the pics, I hit that one of him wide-eyed and over exposed and just started giggling. I don't think he knows quite what a "stawker" is, but he's sure it's 'horribibles!' His auntie-Sims told him he was "famous" and I think it's gone to his head! (He watches way too much "reality" TV! )
So cute! Wiishu should know by now he has friends from all over, silly house elf. We luvs u! Alegro was so nice to send Wiishu gifties and a homemade card. I wonder what Wiishu will do for Alegro?
That is really cute. What is it with impatient dolls climbing into shipping envelopes? And then wearing it on his head?!
Tank you, Momma-D. And I have no idea! I think it's going to involve lots of glue... It stuck there, so I just went with the flow! That's how a lot of my photostories happen!
Oh gosh..I just LOVE Wiishu! He cracks me up! I really enjoy seeing your photos of all his little adventures. He really is a star around here!
Oh, thank you! I worry sometimes that I'm the worst spammer ever. I just can't seem to stop taking photos of the little guy. If I hadn't had characters taking over my brain periodically for thirty years, I'd be concerned over how real he seems at times. BTW...not sure I've ever said anything, but I'm fascinated by how you handle Tyler. You manage that perfect blend of non-focused eyes and complete involvement with his world beautifully.
You're welcome! haha I completely understand...on both counts. I realized the other day that nearly 1/3 of the photos in my flickr are photos of Tyler. And I have also had various characters 'living' in my head for about 30 years, but I still have to do the periodic 'sanity check' when I think about how real my Tyler has become in my imagination. And I have to say, there are NEVER too many photos of Wiishu! Don't worry about being a serial spammer. I'm sure Wiishu has plenty of fans who definitely aren't tired of seeing his cute face and funny antics around here. Also, thank you so much for your wonderful compliments for Tyler and his photos! I grew up in a family of blind people (I myself have severe vision loss) so having a blind doll just seemed a natural extension of my own experience. I'm really pleased that you think I'm doing a good job portraying Tyler in a balanced way.
Awwwww Your stories are always to adorable. I love how he speaks more and more with every story I can't wait to see how this new friendship develops.
He's fabulous, and I think you're awesome! I'd never have guessed, re: the impaired vision. Thank you! He's got another new friend. He's been in awe of Sims' Miike since he first joined DoA with me and he's not only gotten a chance to meet him, Miike's come for a sleepover! I'll post a link here as soon as I get the first part up.
Has Wiishu ever gotten so stuck to something he wasn't able to get loose without extreme help? That might explain his dislike for sticky stuffs.
Heh heh...I didn't get photos of it, like a dummy, but I was opening one of his packages and his hand came off, stuck to the tyvek flap. It was very traumatic. I'll have to do a reenactment some time.
