I'm just getting into BJDs, so I'm a bit lost. I know I had heard before that eye sizes, you can generally go one size larger or smaller than listed. However, I found a wig I REALLY like, but the doll I'm really loving is a size larger than what the wig was made for. How much of a problem can this pose? The head is 22.5cm and the wig is (I'm guessing since it doesn't list the size) about 21cm. Will that 1.5cm make a visible difference?
I'm almost certain that the wig just won't fit - Most caps aren't stretchy, or at least not meaningfully stretchy, so they might not fit over the head. A larger wig on a smaller head is sometimes manageable, especially with a bit of elastic to hold the cap tighter, a silicone cap under the wig, or a dart sewn into it.
