Over the course of about a week (or a little more?) i was dedicated to making a wig for my doll ^_^ i made a total of 3 wigs with ramie fiber. so i decided to take a picture of all 3 wigs together :P from the front.. and the side! *plz pardon my use of monster cans as wig holders.. i had no better idea -_- Wig 1 = total disaster!! I used a lot of glue. and then it got wet. the glue melted and as a result the hair got so hard like a rock.. never again >_<). Wig 2 = it’s passable. this wig is actually a bit thin cuz i was running out of dyed fiber and had to dye more, but i was too mad and lazy after the first attempt to make more at the time so ;^_^) i worked with what i had. if you are me and have an opportunity to look closer and fuss over it, you’ll notice areas of baldness D: not good! Additionally i used human hair products on it… i don’t think they made anything better. And wig 3 is my most recent attempt! I’m alright with this one as it is. I’m not going to mess with it any more because I think the more I interfere with the wig the worse it gets -_-).. I’ll try to leave it alone ^_^). i find wig making to be so fun! I love drawing hair, so making it in real life was super satisfying (even when I failed).. i can’t wait to make wigs for possible future dolls, or just give my current boy a new ‘do ^_^
Love the final result, the colors are fantastic! It's so cool to see your progression, you definitely took the lessons from the first two to heart.
wow, the third one turned out so good, you've done amazing progress! it looks so soft, and I love how the black blends in seamlessly with the colours great job!!
