Shopping Wig for Granado Lucent

    1. I have just finished paying for this doll -Lucent on a 32cm Evolve body and I’m struggling to find a wig. Granado don’t have any in stock. The recommended size is 9.4cm and I can’t find any that small at all. I’m in the U.K. Can anyone recommend anywhere at all I can find one? Even Etsy doesn’t seem to make them that small. I can’t visualise so if he doesn’t have a wig by the time he arrives I worry I won’t like him as much as I want to. I will at some point try to make one as I have a specific colour in mind but I just need something to begin with.

    5. Although not an absolutely big selection, For My Doll does stock 3/4 wigs as well.

      Not sure if you used this while searching, but looking for 3-4 size wigs (9.4cm is about 3.77 inches, which falls into the 3-4 wig range) would open up options.:kitty2

    6. Yes I did look for 3-4. A lot of them seem to be “cutesy” for child style dolls. I was actually so confused because I expected the head on the 32evolve Lucent to be bigger. 32cm is 1/6 technically isn’t it? But the head size seems to be closer to 1/12. I’m actually wondering now if I will find this doll too small.

    7. Ah, I don't tend to collect anything under 1/4 (mostly just stick with 1/3 and up). If I'm correct in my understanding of that scale, though—it seems a majority of 1/6 tend to have more stylistic or childlike proportions over the proportions of Granado's more mature scaled bjds in the size. It certain would make shopping for a guy in the scale when it comes to wigs. Hopefully it all works out for you, and that you'll enjoy him when he arrives. :3nodding:

      Have you thought about maybe trying your hand at making him a wig yourself? There's a plethora of good info in the customization area of the forum on techniques on how to do that.

    8. I have thought about trying to make a wig and eventually I will have to as I want a very specific style and colour but I don’t know where to start without actually having him in front of me.
