Wig finding HELP!

I have one a that's very similar, maybe a little darker. I have it in 1/4 size on a Parabox Sleeping Princess and it covers the ears and looks longer than in their photos. I got it from Taobao a couple years ago and the listing is gone, but the same wigmaker seems to have an Aliexpress store with the same wig:

If you go down the cutting and styling a longer wig then Legend has a wig in the right colour and size. It's cheap enough you could always buy an extra to practice on! If you save the hair you cut off carefully you could use some to make a mini-weft to add udner the front layer to give you a longer fringe.

 

@jellee4 What doll did you want the wig for? I can try taking a picture of it on my doll with the most similar head/face proportions so you can see how it looks.

 

Yes, sometimes they leave the fringe on the longer side so you can adjust it to your doll but it's not guaranteed! I've remembered this Luts wig but not sure if it's a little too dark blue?

 

I know the difficulty, I was looking for a wig in a certain colour and style for years too! Eventually Luts put out wigs in the wine red colour which turned out to be right colour and it was such a relief I hope something turns up soon!

 

OK! My most similar is my Unoa Lusis. I have the 17-19 size of the wig and honestly the wig itself is bigger than I would generally like on this size, I would size down, which might make it look shorter. I also remembered the back being longer because the doll I had it on had less human head proportions (the back of the head doesn't have much mass on the Parabox head) and was wearing a hood that pushed all the hair forward. So this probably isn't what you want, but for thoroughness, here you go!

Would a faux fur wig work? You could probably work it into the correct style. Here is one I found that should be the right size.

It might take some styling, but if you're willing to look on eBay, this one appears to come in a fairly bright blue (maybe too bright). There's a handful of other medium-short blue wigs for sale on there, as well.

Editing to add an aside/disclaimer: I can't speak for the veracity of the eBay store linked. I have no idea what else they sell and have not bought from them previously.

The first link seems to be the safer one as it is slightly longer than the other 2; I'd say you found the perfect fit!

You'll be able to download and register as long as you have TaoBao, cuz it has a shared account system with Taobao. I guess the only hard thing is to contact the wig stylist because everyone speaks Chinese lol. Consider using a translator I guess? But I don't know how are you going to ship it overseas...you should definitely look into that, because you will need to communicate your special needs with the stylist.
The funny thing is that the shipping fee may be more than the wig, as the wig is less than $10 lol

Regarding Xianyu— A lot of proxies that order for Taobao (like Superbuy and NewCloverSinging) also order for Xianyu! I'm not sure what the process is for ordering from this stylist, but NewCloverSinging specializes in BJD stuff. I think Dollsphere may also do Xianyu proxy ordering? I think I remember seeing that before, but I'm not positive.

As for purchasing directly, I have no advice, sadly!
