Wearables Wig and outfit for fairy/immortal (MDR Dango)

I recently got Merry Doll Round's Dango, and I thought she looked like a fairy or supernatural being, with her blue resin. I decided to name her 妘㲋 (Yun Chuo) and give her an outfit to fit her character.

The first wig I want to make for my new doll is a double bun hairstyle, similar to Usagi from Sailor Moon, or the 丱发 hairstyle. I'm planning to use the wig tutorial Whispering Grass has up on her Patreon, combined with permanent wig styling methods, because I don't want to restyle it once I'm done.

These are the threads I'm going to use for the hair. Two are #100 silk, the others are sparkle sashiko and embroidery threads. I may not use all the sparkles, but I wanted to have options.




For the outfit, I've been looking at Song dynasty clothing, because I really like the long, slim silhouette, but it's going to be a fantasy outfit, so I won't necessarily stick with in period dress.

I want to make these pieces:

Beizi (褙子) - the long outer jacket with side slits, and narrow sleeves
Song style pants (宋裤) - pants in two layers
Inner gown, basically a second beizi, layered underneath
Xie Yi (褻衣) - undershirt, in this case it's the piece that goes straight across the chest and fastens behind the back.
Long stole/shawl (I don't know what this is called)
Shoes with turned up toe
Accessories (TBD)
