I make BJDs, I sculpt it and por it of resin. The doll heads are limited to 10 pieces from a mold. But each doll from this mold gets a different look. I would like know, there is an one -of-a-kind or a limited vario-line or whatever. I am looking for the term for this type of doll. Sorry for my bad english. Here you can see 3 dolls from the same mold.
Very nice! I like the gothy one with red eyes. I would say that the head sculpt is a limited edition of ten, and each doll is a one-of-a-kind fullset (assuming you sell them with the wigs, eyes & outfits).
Thank you, good idea. I always thought a OOAK must be created without the use of molds. I sell only dolls with wig and outfits - never naked dolls.
Well, there's definitely a movement for the use of the acronym "OOAK" to only refer to dolls created without molds, so you might not want to use the acronym. But your dolls are literally "one of a kind," and I think as long as you explain that the sculpt is a limited edition of ten, you can still use that phrase.
