I took the wig off to give a better view of his face. The original wig was black, I can tell because it stained his head terribly. He is on the original 65cm body. His full set clothes still have the HZ Doll tags on him. I was thinking he might be Ao Ze Tian? Although, his clothes don't match the release full set. He is one of the earlier dolls, because of his size and body type. I know he is an old rare doll, but I think a few of you still have a couple of these dolls on here. Maybe someone knows which one he is? KODAK Digital Still Camera by Rabbid Bunnies, on Flickr
He really looks like Ao Ze Tian though possibly it's FengWuYa. I'll try to dig in the older images for more details. upd. So Ao Ze Tian and FengWuYa are basically the same head was at some point, but later Heise changed it and FengWuYa was fully updated. On the first image lip corners are down but it's faceup, overall he looks like your guy. Spoiler: fengwuya before and after FengWuYa circa 2014 Another option it can be WangYe, he has visible wrinkle between the eyes, but some people sand it off, I just can't tell since image is grainy to see the details. Since he has human ears it's not WangYe who also looks similar to Tian.
@xatshe Oh, I really can't tell the difference between Feng WuYa and Ao Ze Tian. Even the faceup is so similar. When I look at some pictures, he looks just like Ao Ze Tian. But looking at your first picture, that also matches. Edited: I found a picture of the outfit my boy was wearing posted in 2009. It didn't have the HZ boots like my doll does. It was on a different doll that wasn't HZ, but the dolls outfit was attributed to HZ Doll in the pictures. The previous owner said full set, but I think they might have gotten doll with faceup and a full set of clothes including the HZ boots. Poor guy has just been standing in that outfit for 16 years. But it gives me a date on the doll. I just noticed I difference in the chin Feng Wu Ya seems to have his chin square off a little in the later picture, but my boys chin goes to an almost point like the picture below of Ao Ze Tian. But maybe that was just the later sculpt? HZBJDTIAN by Rabbid Bunnies, on Flickr When I saw the even grainer sales pictures I though he was Wang Ye, because they had replaced his black wig with a cheap red one. But he doesn't have the brow line. The previous owner only kept him displayed and knew little about the dolls. He was never sanded. Thank you so much!
NP! FengWuYa definitely was fully updated around 2014(?) after being similar to Tian, the same name popped up for the head named "Boss". But Boos is just the human version of Guhu (I own full doll since 2013 and I have actually 2 additional heads as well, so there is no way can't recognize that Boss is Guhu but the ears). I bought mine Guhu in in 2013 and I think that older version of the body 65 cm was not available already. But I can be wrong about this. Does your head have any specific titles on its cap? For example 2 of my Guhu head has "HZLis love in silence" on the cap, which was the series of the release and one has just HZBjd. May I ask who was the previous owner? At some point I knew all owners of HZ heads posted online since they were quite a few. One of possible option, you can try to ask Jeeryama from NewCloverSinging, she was an official retailer of HZ and possibly can guess based on the faceup. My bet it's rather Ao Ze Tian or FenWuYa while it was the same head with the different faceup.
@xatshe Not sure the of the previous owners name. They were only a few city's over from me in Florida. But after all these years they could have have moved into Florida from another state. I took a picture of his head cap, the lighting in my room is crap, I even used my phone because it's more clear then the camera. It looks like the second cap that you are holding. But the writing appears to be just the companies name. I took a magnifying glass to read it, as my eyesight it not great. HZ Doll Cap by Rabbid Bunnies, on Flickr
yeah, this is definitely like the 2nd one, the smaller text is "heisejinyao ziyulinglong", which means it's older release than the Guhu. sigh.. ah, no worries! Well I'm glad you have this guy, he deserve some attention after 16 years in oblivion!
