Which new dolls are you waiting for

I haven't yet! I asked Supia if my girl will ship soon, they said she would next week! I ordered her on Feb. 24th if that helps!

 

I haven't bought a full doll in years and I really thought I was done when I bought my girl her body that she needed finally. But when I saw Luts Diez being sold couldn't help myself. So he's now currently on Layaway.

 

I'm waiting for Iplehouse to release some new dolls in the future, it seems they haven't released any new dolls in a long time.

I recently put Charm doll Merlin on layaway, the wings he comes with look beautiful. I'm super excited, but I know I have quite a while to wait.

 

Currently waiting on 4 tan/darker dolls because my collection was in DIRE need of more color. But I also impulsively snagged a rDean N.rei head from Y!J yesterday haha. this is an acquiring season, I'll focus on customization the rest of the year, I guess. Hopefully I can get everyone face ups prior to Winter so I can take a lot of themed photos and such.

I'm a patient person. I'm used to waiting, and I even think the anticipation is a little bit fun. People talk a lot about making the wait more bearable, but what I'm struggling with is holding myself BACK from buying more dolls and adding more waiting to my list!

 

This happens to me when I have to wait for a doll too!! They’re not here yet, so I just… add another one to my cart. I have almost no space for dolls, but I have 3 dolls in order!!

I am following Devotion Dolls process on their MSD Bite head but I'm tempted for the 1/3 size if they do a re-release!

I have more coming in used (4 pairs of wings, somehow inexplicably, an OT vinyl doll, a head, and a body)—because I tend to prefer to buy used for the more “instant” gratification.

 

I'm waiting on SartoriaJ's 1/3 Malena. I'm going to order a custom pair of teeth eyes and learn how to sew in the mean time. I cannot use my MSC until late spring because I'm in Canada and it's cold, cold, cold. But hopefully the warm weather will coincide with her arrival

 

Not to encourage reckless use of sealant, but I’m also Canadian, and I do faceups in inappropriately cold weather a lot. The things I do to mitigate the effects of the weather are I keep my can warm (it stays inside until I go out to spray—never do anything to heat the can ever, it will explode), I spray a little closer to the head (just a little, because I was worried about it freezing in midair in -40 Alberta weather), and I bring the head in to let the sealant dry (the respirator stays on while it dries).

The one thing I have no idea about is if cold humid weather would be worse—it’s bone-dry in my city for most of winter! I would never do a commissioned faceup below like 4°c but I’ve done my own work in the -40’s and I haven’t noticed any issues with adhesion, frosting, staining, or longevity with my MSC. Mileage may totally vary on this, and I’m sure other people have very compelling reasons to recommend against it, but it’s worked for me.

 

@Chameleon Last year or was it two years ago, I had done spraying in my bathroom with the fan on, a wide open window and a portable heater at the corner of the room. Granted I never used MSC below 5 degrees Celcius, it was fine. I was still iffy about leaving any kind of fumes indoors though and would much prefer to work in the garage or outdoors.

 

Oh totally!! I spray outside year-round, I just make sure the can stays warm. Letting it dry indoors is kind of sketchy though, especially if you spray thicker layers of MSC than I do, and there’s more fumes.

I've got seven OT 1/12 blind box bunny girls that have arrived just last weekend (actually had nine, but gave two to my mom).
Also have two OT 1/12 cats getting ready for shipment from Dolk (one will also go to my mom, as she's getting into bjds now too).
I figured that would be all for now, but then Gem of Doll rolled up with Beast Form Osiris and he was so cool that I threw my money at them. That's all for now, but those cool anthro bjds keep showing up and I'm going to be swimming in them!

I am waiting on Hermann from Abidoll. I find the body to be so gorgeous and I can't wait to have him in my hands, he looks so cool. I'm still pondering on what kind of faceup to give him though. He'll be my first ever 75cm doll.

I’ve been waiting for my Luts KDF Kai since February… Hope that he finally comes home sometime soon! Until then, I’ll keep getting new things to put in his “care package” that I’m making for him! He has clothes, a wig, and even a little prop! All that’s left is for him to come.

 

I am waiting on three dolls, though two of them are unfortunately going to be floating heads!

I'm almost there on a layaway from Alice's Collections for a fullset Aimerai Ginko (Utopia Version). I thought he was absolutely gorgeous. He is also a good middle ground for my two 1/3 boys, as he is 68 cm and they are 75 and 64cm!

I also finally figured out how to use Xianyu, and a head I have been waiting on finally came up for sale! He is a Universe Doll Bauhu (White Fox) with the default company face-up. A part of me still really wants the clothes from the full-set too, but I'm so happy to have the head! Though I am not sure what body I want him to have yet (and he is in the post to me now!).

I also just ordered a Chicabi Winnie Baby head, also with the company face-up. These will be my first floating heads, as all my other dolls have been bought with bodies!

I got her in the second hand market. With a bit of luck, she'll be here soon.
