Which kind of "fantasy type" dolls do you want the most?

I really want a 70cm male Tyrannosaurus Rex!

 

My choice is a little cliche, but definitely winged elves, and kitsune, too.

 

I love dinosaurs as well, however it seems most companies tend to stick with dragon-type fantasy styles. I'm really hoping for some awesome dinosaurs in the future! A 65m female triceratops would be equally awesome.

 

I love all kinds of fantasy sculpts! It's so fun to see the new things that the companies think up. I'm not sure if there is something MORE I want to see at this point (mostly because I already have so many dolls).

Also dolls with multiple arms, legs and eyes are quite rare, I'd like to see more of those as well. ^^

I like my neko and my demons and daemons. They are fun to make costumes and stories about.

 

I am getting a Neko boy, I saw a fairyland dragon male, a deer antlered boy from ringdoll, and a werewolf from loong soul. I pretty much am a sucker for anything with fantasy elements. I find animal like things to be cute!

 

The two I'd like to see most right now would be an MSD-scaled male naga, and a tall MSD/short SD-scaled doll with cat/beast legs. I mainly have elven characters to shell, but I've also got three characters that fit into those types of bodies, and I haven't seen any yet that truly fit what I want. Beyond that, I do just love seeing everything that comes out from the various companies and how creative they can be!

 

Dinosaurs would be very cool!

I'd like to see another take on a spider-person--Doll Chateau's is too spindly for me. I would also like to see more leg articulation.

 

I agree, more limbs sounds like a great idea. Souldoll Shiva comes to mind but not much else.
I too would also love to see more merfolk, an octopus or squid would be awesome!

I really want to see some "uglier" dolls.

I would love a Froud style faerie. Also would love to have a 70cm+ beefy minotaur guy. As an ancient Greek nerd I need one bad lol!

 

I know they already have them out there, but someday I would like to own a centaur or mermaid/man. Dinosaurs and minotaurs sound really cool too. I also like vampires, elves and faeries......Oh, who am I kidding? I think any fantasy-type doll is awesome!

 

I am head over heels in love with any sculpt with hooves--fauns, centaurs, you name it, i love it. I thought i'd be really into elves too, but i recently got a secondhand RS Mei and the first thing that popped into my head was make her faun legs. XD

 

I have my adoration for elves I must admit. No idea why, but I adore my elves, need more elves!
Vampires come onto the list a lot too. I don't have many vampiric characters but vampire dolls are pretty ^^ Some even have elf ears, even better
Also, merfolk. I've only seen one with a jointed mer-tail, so its entirely possible to do. Very much wanting some sort of mer-goat, sort of like a humanised capricorn. Came close to getting it once, but then Pipos stopped selling their mercat tail >< More fish required!

I guess I'm a little normal. I like angels and whatever creatures DC makes.

 

Oh, that would be very cool! Actually, I'd be fine with a non-humanised mer-goat--it sounds like it would be very interesting to look at and fun to pose.

 

Soom has their first Fairy Legend FCE going on right now, and the Spider Sprite is included.
Elves, fauns, and Soom's Fairy Legends are my favorites.

 

Thanks for the heads-up, but I really want to see another spider-person with eight limbs. Aenigma is pretty, but take off her wings and feet and she reminds me more of a vampire than a spider.

 

I really like dolls with hooves, like the faun/satyr types. Firstly, because hooved dolls tend to have different leg joints that look super cool, and secondly, because then I don't have to bother finding shoes for them!

 

I love digitigrade dolls (like Soom's original hoofed dolls, Beryl and Sard, who have an extra joint in their legs). I also completely adore centaurs and always love seeing new centaur sculpts pop up. I'm kind of ambivalent on mermaid dolls - usually I find the segmentation a bit too distracting on BJD mermaid tails. I also have a soft spot for more outlandish designs - I loved Soom's scorpion-tailed Vesuvia and crab-clawed Bix, and Doll Château’s spider-taur Elizabeth.

One thing I really wish more companies would make are cat-based fantasy creatures, like sphinxes and gryphons. I've only seen one gryphon doll so far (Luts's Lio), and while he's gorgeous, I want to see more dolls like him!

 

I would've said dragons or a phoenix off the top of my head but the other day I cam across Ansen and Moment from Dollzone. I thought their heads looked really odd from their initial picture but looking at the full doll: their arms! The layered and wavy style of them give them each the appearance of humanoid flowers in a truly magnificent way. Not really a kind of doll I'd look into buying but I can't help but admire the work that goes into a doll like that.

 

I definitely love mermaids/mermen (big little mermaid fan from childhood ). I also always want to see more dolls that have human bodies but animal faces, like the Egyptian gods. So far there are mostly cat versions of this but I want to see a jackal or a bird or something like that. And I'd love to see some more plant based sculpts like DollZone Anson or the Leeke World Ent.

I also really love the DC spider Elizabeth but what I really want is a tiny version of that. Maybe the size of their Ada. I would buy one for sure. But in the end the only fantasy dolls I have planned are all elves or sprites, pretty standard but still very awesome dolls.

 

My favorite fantasy dolls would be Drow/elves and hobbits/halflings.

Zuzu Delf Lio Griffin full complete set. With all the accessories and body blushings and everything. But with an extended layaway. This would cost over $1,000 and I would not be able to afford it with the normal Luts layaway.

Best doll ever. There are other fantasy dolls I would love to have but this is the one I want the most.

I don't think this exists. But I would love a werewolf doll. A bit like the LoongSoul Farkas. I love the animal legs. That you can change them. But he is too too big for me. I am a yosd person. Though I am thinking of maybe giving MSD a try but its probably too big for me. Though for some dolls I will go for it (ie. Werewolf doll) but not 60 cm. :-)

I would also like to have a normal elf, succubus, and an angel But if i had to pick one, i would choose the drow.

 

More diverse merfolk! I'd especially love to see a shark-based merman, with a smiling face head full of sharp teeth. Kinda like IOS Jaguar, but more wicked ^_^

 

I'd really love to see a mermaid type but instead of a fish type tail octopus tentacles instead. Like ursula from little mermaid. Or I'd like a scorpion centaur like DC elizabeth but with a scorpion instead of a spider. Bat hybrids are neat tho the only ones I've seen are from resin soul and I just saw DC came out with new dolls that have bat type wings but without the connecting skin. Or even an amphibian hybrid doll. I'd really love to have all those kinds.

I think the fantasy type dolls I would want the most art fairies, elves, mermaids and centaurs/fauns. I'd love a deer centaur, I have a thing for antlers. One of my original characters is a mermaid so I'd love to create her in doll form. I'd love for companies to offer fantasy dolls as unlimited dolls, I'd kill for an unlimited mermaid tail

I love hooved fantasy dolls, as well as vampires and sculpts with pointed ears. I also really like grey skin dolls, I have one with one on the way, but I plan to purchase two more soon I would like to see more bird-like BJDs like Soom The Crow. I think he's really cool and would love to see more birds with a similar design. I like his fantasy feet/hands and I prefer the wings on the back instead of attached to the arms.

I really want a mermaid or merman doll at this point. It would have been a centaur but I already got that. I'd also really like a Pegasus bjd, that would be sooo cool to me. Also not really a fantasy doll but i'd like to own an alien doll.

A unicorn...biped, not centaur-esque, and a vampire (one of the dim doll vampires to be more precise ^^)

 

There's a lot of fantasy things I want for bjds. First I want an SD centaur so my other SDs could ride him. Second, I want a male doll with a scorpion tail and it has to be an SD. Third, I want more SD sculpts with hooves. Fourth, an octopus or squid so upper part human and the lower part tentacles. I love SDs so pretty much more fantasy SDs

 

What I want most of all is a 26cm lobster/human hybrid doll. With little lobster claws for hands! Tail optional, but appreciated. I've been wanting something along those lines for about 2-3 years now. Pincer hands in general (for all sizes) would be an amazing thing too. I just really want my rock lobster.

I'm also sat I missed out on the Pipos mercats, because I would love to see more mer animals. Mercats, merbunnies, merpiggies and mergoats, maybe some merdragons! A BIG part of me hopes that if Luts continues their zodiac line they'll make Cancer some sort of crab creature (pincers and all!) using one of their cat or rabbit zuzus.

I like what Doll Chateau has been doing with their spider people, it's very surreal and cool. In that vein, I'd love to see a company go full on eldrich when making a doll. Not something pretty, but surreal, unsettling and unlike anything ever seen. Something purposely out there that uses ball joints and customization in the most fitting way.

 

Hmmm I wouldn't mind having the current fantasy type of dolls that are always out there (centaur, fawn, vampire, elf, etc), since I love those creatures anyway and the sculpts look beautiful, but I would REALLY love some kind of phoenix one for sure. I know LUTS had the limited Forgotten Realms Bory, but just adding wings to the back didn't make it phoenix enough for me. Granted I LOVED the wings....really if I had the money I would have just wanted the wings for no other reason than to touch them.

Though I think a lot of other fantasy/mythological creatures out there would make interesting BJDs. There's rarely many mer-people or sirens, and I think it would be REALLY cool for a deep sea creature hybrid with human things...I don't know.

I don't really want any fantasy dolls for myself but if I had to pick one, I guess it would be a vampire one. Like pretty normal looking but has the fangs because Souji is all rasetsu/vampire. I guess that's the closest to fantasy anything that I'd need.

 

I love centaurs and deer dolls! I like the look of dolls with hooves, and I love antlers. I especially love DC Alberta because she is a deer centaur! It is great! That is the fantasy combo I most want! I've also seen a couple of fawn sculpts I like. Clearly, I have a thing for deer and horses. ^_^

 

I love cat dolls like the kind Pipos has, both the adult proportioned ones as well as the younger cats (and that cute mer-cat!). I would like a dragon. That would be the absolute must have for me. I love dragons A bat bjd would be awesome too. Pretty much anything out of the ordinary interests me.

 

anything with... my first instinct was to say horns, but it turns out i don't have any dollies with horns, so i'll have to go with wings.
anything with molded wings! though i still haven't found one that moves as much as i'd like.

I'm in love with all the centaurs. I don't have any yet, but I'd get one of each if I had the money!! I'd love one with the wings from Loongsoul's Amalthea but with jointed legs! She was really beautiful but her horse body wasn't jointed at all. I've really liked the slim ones from Luts, but I also adore the fat little yo ones and the big Soom one! They're all incredible.

Oh, and OllyChimera, there are some dragons! I don't know if you mean more humanoid or full on dragon dolls, but check out Cuartos Doll's dragon. Also, Evethecat is working on one and Aileen Doll has a tiny that is to die for!

this is going to sound like one weird doll..but...

I love cooking shows. Masterchef, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares--- ok, I would love to have Chef Ramsey or Elliot or Joe in an SD doll. I love creating doll food and dioramas and was thinking this would be an incredible doll dressed in his chef coat. I have wanted to raise my 1:3 dabbling in doll food to a new level doing complicated dishes that I see on the shows, especially Hell's Kitchen. My husband loved the idea.

OR just an SD male doll dressed as a chef. that loves to cook. One can dream!
