Hi, total newbie here. This might seem like an obvious question to those who’ve been here a while, but I’m afraid I’m struggling to pin-down a precise or accurate answer. I’ve been designing and printing my own 3-D resin BJD’s, and was just wondering exactly where on DoA I might be able to post pictures of them. I posted one in the main gallery, but was told that is not the correct place, and that either the Workshop or Brigadoon is the appropriate venue. So, do I just post straight into Brigadoon as a new thread? or where exactly within the workshop menu would be the best place to post them? Appreciate any clarification, thanks
/forums/dollmaking-project-journals.233/ Here's the section of the workshop where you can start a thread for journaling your creative process as you make your own dolls, including sharing pics! Welcome to the forum-- the workshop section is my favorite part of the whole site, hope you enjoy it
Dolls that are 3D printed are not On Topic for the forum, see the Criteria for Doll Inclusion here. We allow dolls that are in the process of being made to be shared in the Making a BJD section of the workshop. Dolls shared in the workshop are not considered on topic until they are completed, submitted for topicality and approved. A doll would have to be cast in resin in order to be considered for topicality. Brigadoon, being the Off Topic forum, allows for dolls that are not On Topic. All other forum rules do apply to Brigadoon otherwise. Since you also started a thread in Ask the Mods about this earlier today, it's usually best to wait for a Mod to answer you before asking around the forum. The staff are equipped with the best answers for forum how-tos and whys.
