Where to find doll sized notions?

May 31, 2022

    1. Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has any good sites or etsy stores to order Msd doll sized sewing notions from? With minimal shipping to canada.

I'm looking for white buttons (preferable pearl-like or shell,) bronze/brass/gold buckles and D rings in different sizes, grommets/eyelets and some ribbon.

Would also love to find covered button frames but I think at 1/4 sized that might be too small to actually be do able lol.

I know there's a tone of places on etsy, but I thought I'd ask.

      Thanks!

    2. Thanks teddy!
Looks like they have everything that I'm looking for! Except some of the specialty stuff, but that's going to require digging on etsy I think!
      Thank you!

    3. You're welcome - Happy Sewing!

    4. BJDFashionWorld on Etsy also have bits 'n bobs - maybe the pearl like buttons? They are based in Canada.

    5. Like you, I'm in Canada. Here are a few places I've come across with useful doll-sized notions, three I've bought from and one I haven't.

For tiny snaps (size 4/0), Designs by Gerry B is great. Her prices are super reasonable and include shipping.

For really tiny eyelets and rivets and the tools to set them, this company in California has a great selection. I haven't bought from them, but they say their shipping prices are very reasonable.

As @Teddy said Doll Sewing Notions, Miniature And Accessories is quite good. I've bought from them a few times and have been very happy with the products and service.

And if you ever want gorgeous. heirloom quality lace trim, Labours Of Love SEWING AND EDUCATION in Abbotsford, BC is the place to go! She has a large selection of lace and also sells lovely batiste fabric.

      Happy sewing!
