i've got two sartoriaJ girls-- one in the APH body and one in the MTN body. I have a hard time finding clothes for them on aliexpress or taobao. I don't want to get all of my clothes from SartoriaJ themselves-- my girls have aesthetics that don't match up with what SJ is selling sometimes. I know that iplehouse and racoon doll are good resources for these girls, but their clothes selection has left me wanting. I've checked Etsy, but there isn't a whole lot of options there either. I cannot sew myself, I'm trying to learn, but in the meantime, I'd like to be able to dress my girls. I'm looking for goth/punk aesthetics as well as boho/vintage/cottagecore/farmcore aesthetics-- if that changes the answers. Thanks in advance!
I have an Iplehouse SID girl that fits 1/3rd boy stuff and an Impldoll MGB body (65cm) that also fits the same size well. BIA on taobao sells some of my favorite stuff and also does custom sizing for goth stuff. As for cottagecore stuff specifically, I've had a super hard time finding that so for now I just bought some casual modern stuff for my Iplehouse SID girl to wear as I work on a dress for her.
So would you say that buying 1/3 male clothes (the regular sizing) tends to work for curvier girls? I've heard something similar before, but I wanted to clarify.
From what I've experienced yes. But each brand is different so there may be some variations in sizing.
Alice's Collections has a 65 cm size that works well for curvy girls - I use it for my big girls (a little punk outfit). Secondhand, Mandarake and Dollyteria will often have Iplehouse clothing. You're going to want EID or HID sizes - SID/nSID are more "traditional" SD-sized clothing. Avoid: Soom, Granado, and "SD16" sized clothing. Too slim. Editing to add: can't forget rRabit! Prices are reasonable, lots of clothing styles, and they offer a nice variety of sizes.
Thank you SO much! I’m a bit of a slow learner so I appreciate the specifics. Thank you so much, again! :3
