Shopping Where can I buy a Minifee Shiwoo?

I think Shiwoos are retired, I'm not 100% on that though. Besides the second hand market, Fairyland has been doing "Look Back" heads with many of their events so they might make a new Shiwoo at some point.

Denver Doll is the place to get Fairyland dolls if you're in the US, but I believe all Minifee a la carte sculpts older than Chloe that weren't already discontinued before were essentially discontinued. They did an event with a "Lookback" head of El and Lishe after they made that decision, so they may come back around eventually (I also think they're altering the heads to fit the size of the post-Chloe heads, which are smaller than the OG Minifee heads), but if you want the original Shiwoo, the secondhand market is going to be your best friend. (If I got any info wrong, someone please pop in with the correct info! This is just what I recall off the top of my head about the situation)

 

it was more than just the pre-chloe heads unfortunately, they basically also discontinued all their "male" sculpts too, there were sculpts barely a year old (and some under i think) that got the axe too if they weren't popular enough (mnf collectors tend to prefer girl dolls even tho all the heads are unisex, so promo-ing a sculpt as male with no option to switch the body for the official fullset preorders (which people love to do splits for so body shouldn't really matter) sort of doomed the "male" sculpts to less popularity and thus the discontinuation. shiwoo was a male sculpt in addition to being older, so....). :\
fairyland has said that they might re-release sculpts if enough people ask for them, so emailing them and letting them know the demand could help getting him re-released, even if you're browsing secondhand in the meantime. my pal @Wolfie Pie is The Shiwoo Fan Of All Time so they might know more about shiwoo in particular too, so i'm @'ing them LOL
fairyland is notoriously terrible about re-releasing things people want, so if you really want shiwoo back it'll take a miracle (and lots and lots of begging from lots and lots of people)

 

Unless fairyland decides to do a lookback, second hand is really the only way. Don't let that discourage you though. I personally have 12 minifee Shiwoos of the varying types that I got after the discontinuation. You can always put up a want to buy thread as well. That's how I got about half of mine, including the elf and vampire elf versions.

Can you tell Shiwoo is my all time favorite sculpt? Lol.

 

Howdy! Similar to @xellos , mnf Shiwoo is my favorite sculpt. I have 10 of them currently, and I've sold 3 in the past.
Like others have said, currently the only way to get a mnf Shiwoo is the secondhand market. They do pop up time to time, though they are more scarce than they once were.
I'm still crossing my fingers for a lookback Shiwoo, seeing as they did El, Lishe, Chiwoo, and Soo(?).

Back in July 2018, I emailed Fairyland about a possible Shiwoo re-release. Here's what they emailed me back:

Dear Sara,

Choice of sculpts that gets added on or removed depends on the status of each master sculpts AND/OR popularity of the sculpt. Your interest for Shiwoo has been translated and passed onto our management team for possible consideration in future.
