When doll company sends wrong items

    1. Hey guys,

      I have ordered Dollstown Elf 13y body in Copper Oriental in Sept 21 and it finally got delivered, yay!
      BUT...Instead of Copper Oriental (for which you have to pay additional 38 bucks) I got Oriental skin.

      Super frustrated of long wait+tax+I have no use of this body as it doesn't match my copper head.

      I have already messaged DollStown on the issue but I wanted to ask for your experience with companies (especially Dollstown) on sending wrong orders.

      Who usually pays the shipping (return and resending the new doll)? I guess I have to pay tax twice now when (if) they will resend the body.

    2. I ordered an Impldoll Trista and Gela in natural skin. The Gela came in the correct colour but the Trista came in a darker orangey tone. I emailed Impldoll about it and they said it was correct…..even though both dolls clearly were not the same resin colour. In the end they said that it was their special UV resin and that was why the tone was different. They refused to offer any solution and in the end I sold her off because she wasn’t what I wanted. I haven’t been back to Impldoll since. -.-

      I fully understand your frustration! I will keep my fingers crossed that you will come to a good outcome.
       
    3. Ouch, that's a hell of experience LikablePlatypus. Sorry to hear that! I would do no business with them either after such a treatment.

      Dollstown finally answered and asked me to ship the body back. In their turn they said the will "hurry up" the casting of the right body.

      So basically additional waiting time. I am currently asking if they can take over the payment for the shipping back to Korea because it will cost me an arm <_<

    4. Since it was their mistake in sending the wrong color, they really should pay for shipping the doll back to them.
