Narrative What to do when grownups say "Go do something". BY Elle

"It happens a lot. My little sister Rhi and I will be watching tv, when our older brother Adem will come in and tell us to go do something that isn't watching tv. Sometimes Kayin (a little vampire living with us) was watching tv too, and she complains 'what else are we supposed to do?' Here's my answer.

Instead of watching tv, you could...


...go outside and swing! And while you're outside, you could also...


...watch the clouds, or...


...climb a tree. But...


...Unless an adult or big brother or sister is nearby, be very careful when climbing! You could fall and hurt yourself. I'm a professional, so it's ok for me, and probably for bigger kids too...


...Back inside, you could read a book by yourself...


...or read to your sister...


...you could also dance...


...and after all that, it's time for a nap!"
