What song would best describe your doll collection?

It's funny. I've got playlists for every one of my dolls but I'd never thought of a song that reflects my collection as a whole. I'd like to say Connected (Yours Forever) by Hydelic but I've sold too many dolls to properly claim that "I'm yours forever". Maybe Touch the Sky by Julie Fowlis. They all have an air of adventure about them and to me, that song exudes that feeling.

 

I have individual playlists for a lot of my dolls, as most of them are based on characters of mine. Thinking about it I would say Raise Your Glass by P!nk fits my collection as a whole. "So raise your glass if you are wrong, In all the right ways, All my underdogs, We will never be never be, anything but loud, And nitty gritty dirty little freaks."

 

"Part of your world" from the Little Mermaid. . . Every time I look at my dolls I think about how much I love my collection and how great the dolls I have are. . . . Then I go right to window shopping for dolls I do not have. Lol. I always "want more".

If I had to pick a song to describe my whole doll collection I think it would be Genesis by Grimes. Kinda of mystical and weird but still beautiful in their own way.

 

This is perfect for our crew, bunch of dumb boys!

Although I'd also say for my girls Mambo No 5 by Lou Bega because yes, I need a little bit of every sculpt in my life.

 

In a nutshell

 

For half of my collection- FFVII maintheme and other half, Hedwig’s main theme from Harry Potter.

 

No pun intended here, but for the usual feel of my collection, and the current characters I'm shelling, it would be
"Still Doll" by Kanon Wakeshima.

 

My crew is so Tolkien based that this has to be their theme.
For those of mine who aren't Tolkien:

Basically any fantasy theme!
Except for Kuja. He is of course his theme from FFIX. Or any sassy song.

 

Walking To Endless Life by Taishi for one half of the crew. They're in more of a fairytale-like world.

For the other half, probably Mother - Outro from Ender Lilies OST.

Probably one of the human covers of 月影舞華 (Moon Shadow Dancing Flower) which is originally a Vocaloid song. The English translations are uhhh Too Horny And Not Correct but it's got the vibes.

this is a good question! most of my dolls are dressed in antique french rococo and victorian style. Its mostly gothic or pastel, so i think id go with a dark sounding classical piece like The Four Seasons: Winter in F Minor, RV. 297: I. Allegro, by Antonio Vivaldi.

Considering both my dolls are technically the same woman, just different incarnations of her in her eternal journey, I think Seeing Stars works nicely
