What size doll do you prefer?

Mar 14, 2025

    1. What are y'alls favorite doll sizes? 1/12, 1/4, 1/3, 70cm+, or some other size? Why do you prefer that size?

Personally, I like 1/4-1/3 size, but I like the faceups on 70cm+ the most, so it's difficult for me. I like the mid tier size because I can sew more details, but I can still move them around.

    2. I like the 1/5 and 1/6 size of bjd.

    3. I started with MSD because I'm small and wasn't confident that I could handle larger dolls, but I like the sculpts for 70cm much more and the first one I got was a Loongsoul. I was surprised by how light it was and decided to get a few more 70s. I like making clothes for them a lot more than the MSDs. I feel I can get more details and be more extravagant in my clothes designs for my 70s than the MSDs.

I now have a 1/3 and even a 75 and I like my 1/3 a lot. He is very cute, easy to hold and pose, and is a nice size to customize. My 75 is bigger than I can easily handle and posing him is more challenging, he is hefty. I like him but I have no intention of getting another 75; far to big more my taste.

I was positive I wouldn't ever care to have a 1/6 or smaller doll, but after deciding to do the child version of an OC and taking forever to find a sculpt I liked, after finally having him... HE'S ADORABLE. I love how small he is. If I didn't have to worry about my cat knocking him over I would keep him on my desk every day. I have not made clothes for him, so I don't know how challenging that would be for his size. I probably wouldn't enjoy it much; fighting with my machine to get small pieces of fabric through. But there are a lot of cute outfits available to buy so I'm not concerned about clothes for him. And I only want one other 1/6 so it's not as though I'll be pressed for outfits.

Long story short, I really love my 1/3 and 70s the most, because they're enjoyable to customize and they aren't too difficult to handle, pose, and carry. I think 1/3 is my most preferred size at the moment, but I find the 70cm sculpts the most attractive.

    4. I have one 70 cm doll and one 65. For the same reasons previous answers already mentioned: l like to make their clothes and this size is perfect for that. Smaller than full size human clothes, faster to make, less material, still not as small as to make details difficult. I’m big so handling the size is no problem. Although l already managed to smash the poor guys butt against a door frame. Didn’t see the distance, common thing here.
Actually l would like one more about 67-68 cm and one 1/4 to be the child in the same group, not necessarily their “bio” child.

    5. I have 3 MSDs (and another on the way), 2 YOSDs (centaur and satyr though) and a variety of little 1/12ths. While I absolutely love my MSDs, they are still a little too big for me and can feel awkward to handle, where my YOSDs feel perfect. I would have more of them if there were more mature YOSDs out (and fantasy ones at that!), but since a lot of the ones I want were limited and now near impossible to find I've accepted that MSD is probably the size I will have the most of lol. They are nicer to sew for though, sewing for YOSD is frustrating when there are sleeves involved.

I do really love to look at the 70cm+ dolls though. Their detail is beautiful and I constantly find myself drawn to them for their more mature faces and bodies, but their size is far too big for me. I'm short, they'd be near half of me lol. Their price is also far more intimidating, I'd never forgive myself if their faceup and clothes and condition were anything less than perfect for that price.Granted, if Aolingshi ever ends up making a fantasy sculpt in that scale, I might be in trouble.

TLDR; I love my little YOSDs even if MSDs are easier to make clothes for, and I lust from afar after all the 70cm+ dolls lol

    6. I also prefer 1/4 and 1/5 dolls. It's too bad that they're only few 1/5 sized bjds since they look great next to 1/4. In my opinion 1/6 look a bit too small to look like the same scale but younger, while 1/5 succeed perfectly in that aspect.

I thought of getting a 1/3 Ringdoll for a long time because I fell in love with a specific sculpt (and I really like more mature sculpts in general), but when I visited someone who owned 1/3 bjds, I just found them to be too large for me (on the other way around, she thought 1/4 was too small for her taste :XD:). So I'll stick with 1/4 and 1/5 :3nodding:

    7. Tinies, all the way. Something about the delicate and dainty nature of BJDs made me liken them to fairies, so all the ones I really fall for are tiny little pretty things. As a result, the dolls I consider buying are all 1/6 and smaller - able to sit in my hand, and much easier to store away, because I know I'll end up with an army :sweat

The first doll I ever truly fell for was Fairyland Pukipuki Pongpong. I couldn't afford it then and was devastated to find Pukipuki had been discontinued by the time I was able to buy my first doll, but I'd just bought my second doll (a Lati White) when the limited re-release happened, so I couldn't afford it then either. But I'm eyeing the secondary market every day hoping for another Pongpong to show up...

    8. I think I've settled on the larger end of 1/3, so 65-70cm. I like big heavy dolls. I love the size and detail of the huge dolls (Trinity etc.) but they seem to be too heavy to pose as nicely as 1/3, so I'm not sure if I'd like one.

      • x 2
    9. My first doll was 64cm tall and I've been in love with smaller 1/3s ever since. My dolls range from 58cm to 68cm tall, and 65cm is my sweet spot.

Many reasons why I love 1/3s...
      • They tend to be in the age group and aesthetic that I love.
      • They have presence that smaller dolls just don't have. Their size makes them feel like people, not toys or figurines.
      • Big enough that sculpting can show a lot of realistic details.
      • They're a comfortable, deliciously heavy weight in my arms...
      • ...but not too heavy. I can still carry a doll by their hips with one hand.
      • When I sit down on the floor to pose them, I can more or less look them in the eye - which I really like, I feel like I'm communicating with them...
      • ...but they're not tall enough to headbutt me when they fall over. They faceplant on my shoulder instead - less painful!
      • Good variety of clothing and fashions to buy for them, especially my 58cm girl and the 68cm uncles.
      • Easy to sew their clothing and add details.
      • Although 1/3-scaled props are a lot harder to buy/make, the ones that exist are always impressive and realistic looking. Again, props at this size don't look like toys.
      • And because I have no interest in dioramas or dollhouses: 1/3 dolls can interact with some human-scale furniture without looking overly out of place or teeny.
      • I love outdoor photography with my BJDs and smaller 1/3 is about right. I can shove one into a backpack or put two in my carrier, and carry them to fairly rugged places. They aren't too heavy to carry on my back, and not that unwieldy to wrangle in outdoor conditions.
I've tried owning smaller dolls but they felt uninteresting and less significant. I haven't owned any 70+ dolls yet, and while they're gorgeous I think they'll be too heavy and unwieldy for the kinds of posing and photos I want to do.

    10. ⅓ & Up

They are just so much easier to photograph, make/ modify props for, sew for. I love the weight of them. They fit well with the backgrounds that I buy for them. They are comfortable for me to work with I love the look and style of the bigger dolls as well. They are the perfect teen/adult sized dolls more mature so I don't have to limit the topics of my photo story webcomic.

I actually started with the ¼ dolls because I thought that the ⅓ dolls would be too big for me. Over two feet of fragile doll can be intimidating. At least it was for me. But I got a ⅓ bjd and then another, and another and after mainly using them in my photography and stories the smaller dolls just feel too light and awkward for me. I like the smaller dolls that I bought previously, but they mainly stay shelved.

Going forward for me in collecting it's all about the larger scale dolls.

    11. I have a rather unfortunate “go big or go home” mindset, so 70+ is always what my heart longs for!! I have a couple of 65ish dolls, but something about how substantial large dolls are just makes my heart sing. As someone else said, they just have so much presence. The face sculpts I enjoy are also usually in that size range, and I love how much detail is visible and able to be accomplished.
That said, I think one day I want to dip my toes into MSDs. I love how light and portable they are, and they have such a charming energy. I get jealous when I see people holding their MSD on one hand lol. The price difference is also very appealing, and I think there’s a much wider range of clothes. I’d like to have 1 msd I can really dedicate all of my msd energy to and spoil with a big wardrobe. But, until then, big dolls for me!

    12. All the sizes! I started with 1/6 because the dolls I got could wear Barbie clothes - familiar territory.
Then I jumped into the 1/3. Heavier but easier to dress, could hold their pose better, and thus my elf army began.
Then came 1/4 - even easier to dress and pose and much lighter to carry.
I admit I do not make anything for my dolls yet. I hope to some day - even if it's just props.

I come from the world of 1/6 playline dolls, and yes, they are so fiddly to sew for. I hand-sew for sixth scale!

    14. My focus in this hobby has always been on 3 things: fashion, artistic display, and storytelling. Because of this, I’ve developed a love for all the sizes (depending on where I need them to be displayed in order to best tell their individual stories.) I created small artistic vignettes throughout my home and populated them with appropriately sized dolls. My 1/12 Realpukis live in a treehouse carved from an old tree stump, for instance. 1/3 dolls grace decorated alcoves or carefully curated dresser tops. YOSDs reside in their own little world inside of an antique travel trunk. So doll size has always been dictated by the decorative space available to them and whatever story I wanted to tell, which was always decided well in advance of purchasing. This has given me the freedom to collect all the sizes, and I love them all for their own unique qualities.:)

    15. 1/4 is and always have been my favorite size since I started in this hobby a long long time ago. My first one was a 1/4 as the one coming home right now will be (hopefully, the last one xD).
I love the level of detail some companies put into their 1/4 faces and bodies, which I'm sure can be higher in the 1/3 scale, but I've found out that larger than 50cm become too much for me in terms of weight and size. Smaller than 1/4 can be fine too, as I have three 1/8 sized dolls and one 1/6, but in my daily life I very much prefer handling my 1/4 around.
Overall, 1/4 are easier for me to pose and to photograph up close. Also, their clothing is very diverse and also easy enough to adjust and sew, and I've been able to find items in that scale much easier than in others.

    16. Tinies, definitely tinies! I do have some 1/4 and 1/3 sized but tinies always have been my favourite particularly Fairyland’s Realfee and Pukifee.
As for the why, I’ve always been drawn to fae folk type beings and characters since I was a small child so I guess it stems from there. I’m also fond of RPG games and tend to, if possible, chose either elven or small mischievous races to play, love my little Lalafell characters (yes I have several) in FFXIV for example! There’s a certain kind of freedom too with the littles, much less pressure to have them look a certain way or be perfect, nobody really cares if they’re odd whereas with bigger sizes I tend to feel there’s more expectations.

    17. i only have one doll, at 1/4 size - given my space restrictions i don't think i'll go any larger than that, but 1/3 seems like it'd be a nice size too...

    18. I own 1/4, 68cm, and 75cm dolls. I like how cute 1/4 dolls can be and how easy it is to handle them, but I also like the mature aura 68cm+ dolls give. In terms of preference nowadays, I do notice myself leaning more towards 68cm+ dolls. They're able to capture the visual image I have in mind of my characters and really help inspire me more on story building.

    19. I like all sizes (except 20cm size - somehow those just never stay with me) but going by the numbers of each size I have, I like 1/3 the best.

    20. I have everything from around 7cm up to 65cm! And favorite? It depends. My main human crew are 1/3 and I really prefer them mostly, but I have a lot of fantasy, anthro and pet tinies and I love them in a different way. They're all good! Just not the 70cm and up, they're way too big for me.

    21. At first I was very strictly slim MSDs only. I think those just happened to be the size of the first few dolls I fell for, and the variety of slim MSDs available means it's easy for me to come across ones that fit my tastes. I do quite like them, they're nice and portable, easy to hold, and easy to sew for - there's lots of patterns available for that size and they don't take up a ton of fabric, but aren't so small that it becomes as fiddly a task as it is for the Barbies I tried collecting. Similar for knitting, I can use up the leftover yarn from a different project to make a sweater dress or something for them.

I did more recently start collecting a few smaller SD sized dolls, though. Started with a Volks DearSD, which is MSD height but SD chonkiness, then a couple that are in that 52-56cm range. Between them and my plus-size MSD, who also fits into SD-size patterns, I've got a bunch of weirdos who don't quite fit a lot of clothes! I've bought clothes that are supposedly SD10 or SD13 size for the actual 50cm-range dolls, but pant legs especially keep turning out too long. The other two, I just haven't bothered, I've made all their clothes so far :XD:But as others have said, once you get to that size you get the benefits of doll-scale sewing in terms of low supply needs and also you start to benefit from fabrics draping more nicely. I think I might have to convince my Nikki to get into lolita, though, so I can use up more of the trims and lace piled in my stash. My one slim MSD who I try to sew lolita stuff for can't eat through it fast enough!

      The bullet point version:

      Slim MSD:
      • Small, portable, and easy to pose
      • Lots of fun sculpts!
      • Plenty of sewing patterns and a number of premade clothes
      • Easy to craft for with little more than scraps
      • Harder to find shoes just for them, but with thick socks, you can get away with standard MSD-sized shoes
      Small SD:
      • Bigger but still portable and posable, nice weight without getting unwieldy
      • Harder to find these days, at least IME (the uncles have taken over)
      • Fits some SD10/13 clothes but at least mine keep getting swamped in the pants
      • Fits SD shoes beautifully though and those are all over the place
      • Still uses smaller fabric bits but things drape nicely
      Weirdo MSD/SD Combo:
      • Wonderful blend of SD heft for holding and MSD size for movement
      • Might just be coincidence but these two dolls hold poses the best out of all of mine (helps that the DSD came with kips)
      • Oh my god is it impossible to find clothes. You better like not just sewing/knitting/crochet but pattern design
      • Shoes are easier, though

    22. I started with 1/4 and have stuck with it - I have limited space so they're a good size for that + I can manage to find enough room to make sets to take photos of them. I think if I had started with 1/3 I would have stuck with those instead but my current crew can share a lot of stuff I've collected for them so I'm hesitant to add a different size or start over in a bigger scale just because I'll have to buy more stuff. I don't really enjoy anything that goes much under 45cm though (unless it's a chonky MSD that has some heft and presence in other ways), it just ends up being too fiddly and tiny to make stuff for imo.

I think I might be open to a smaller SD in the future, if I ever get more space I'd love to have a pair of bigger gals.

    23. I love dolls on the bigger side! generally the smallest I'll look at is 1/3, but I'll always make an exception for a doll I really really want if they are smaller. But I generally only seek out 1/3, 70cm, or even bigger! having a life size bjd is a longtime dream of mine :love

      • x 1
    24. Prefer 1/4 scale dolls! I have a really small space for my collection so I'd rather have more dolls that are smaller than a couple of larger dolls. I also just enjoy the size! For making clothes and wigs, and their diorama ^^

      • x 1
    25. I prefer 1/4 and dolls about the size of Littlefee. So cute!

    26. I like 1/4 (mature msd) and I also like mature/fashion 1/6 and 1/5. I like smaller dolls for a space reason, plus it’s easier to dress them up etc.

    27. I've always been fond of yosd and smaller, they don't take up a ton of space. plus when i was younger i used to take my honeydelf everywhere with me

    28. I prefer 1/6 scale dolls because I am petite and they are easy to dress and transport for me.

      • x 2
    29. I loved the 1/4, then the 1/3 65-70cm dolls and now I find myself wanting an adult face and body sculpt in 1/6 scale. The reason being is that I have recently discovered realistic versions of household items in that size. I want a whole doll house with the dolls, the clothes and the furniture with accessories!

    30. I prefer 75 dolls, probably because I prefer more mature male BJDs. - I have a SD13 and SD17 from a decade ago (so 1/3 scale), but I gravitate towards taking my 75s out or fiddling around with them more. They are heftier than an SD13 or 17, but I don't find them to be so burdensome that I can't travel with them or bring them out to meetups.

    31. My dolls range from 9.5cm Fairyland Realpuki to 51cm Dreamvalley lanky 1/4. I started out with mature tinies and that was my preferred size for a while, then a few years ago I got my first slim mini. Now they're my preferred size. I find them easier to sew for than smaller dolls. I like handling them more, since they are more substantial. It's also so much easier to find wigs and shoes for them.

      • x 1
    32. I have a few 1/3 and 1/4 scale dolls those are my preferred sizes, the 70cm+ size is too big for me but they are nice dolls to look at on social media platforms.

      • x 1
    33. 1/6, 1/5, 1/4 scale are perfect for me. I’m an extremely small person and those sizes feel the most manageable and cost-effective as it doesn’t take as much materials to make clothes, wigs, and accessories. Smaller is trickier to sew for and bigger would just be awkward for me to handle and store.

I don’t care for the head/body and facial proportions on 1/8 scale dolls; they all look very similarly squished to me for some reason (cute, but just not my aesthetic).

    34. I have a strong preference for the 1/3 size. My favorite size is small 1/3 scale dolls, typically in the ~56-ish cm range, but I'll collect anywhere between that and ~65cm. 1/4 and smaller are generally too young/child-like for my particular taste and 68+ feels unwieldy and overly large to me, though I may make exceptions for specific sculpts.

Small 1/3 hit the sweet spot for me of having some level of maturity while still being very manageable for playing with.

      • x 2
    35. I think my favourite size is around 65cm - generally I prefer mature dolls and characters. At the same time 65cm is light enough for me to carry the doll without any problems. Sadly my arms are so weak that sometimes even handling a camera is a struggle :(

      • x 1
    36. My fav size would be 60 to 65/70cm. I have 4 msd’s but sadly they do not get as much love and attention as the larger dolls.

    37. My current dolls are 46cm and 48cm (when she gets a head lol) and i think it's pretty optimal in size for me. They are also both pretty close to the big baby size while not being that young looking. I like the weight of them a lot and find them very easy to handle and pose. I also like the more realistic proportions for sewing and knitting.

My first bjd was a 42cm slim mini so they are in the same size category height wise. The feel of her was very different though. I never really bonded with her partly because of that and probably won't get a doll in that size again. My girlfriend is interested in slim minies and 1/6 scale though so it'll be interesting to see how i like them if she ever gets one!

    38. My favorite size is mostly the old school 1/3 size which falls between about 55 and 60cm tall. These dolls along with non slim 1/4 (like volks) are the most fun for me to sew for. The 1/3 size I prefer for portrait photography and multiple doll photo narratives, as well as painting faceups, whereas 1/4 is more convenient to carry around for outdoor photos, though I still do that plenty with the 1/3 as well. (Bigger 1/3 end up being usually too heavy and difficult to travel with or handle as much, and smaller dolls, while precious to me are just a little bit too hard for me to maneuver and craft for, so delicate and precise).

    39. I ended up spending a lot on MSDs before realizing I actually prefer larger dolls. Since I read a lot of CN and KR webtoons/manhuas/novels, my 75cm dolls tend to have that “serious, cold male lead” vibe, which I really enjoy. I love developing original characters to bring my story ideas to life, and the 1/3 scale dolls really help me visualize everything better.

    40. YOSD, MSD, Big Baby, SD, Uncles :kitty2
I love SD size sculpts, but not SD boys bodies. Thank the dolly goddesses for Uncles :cheer
Big dolls are amazing, all their accessories are glorious but it takes some effort to lug them around and maintenance them. But the effort it takes to interact with them somehow adds to the appeal.
YOSD are so cute and quick to craft for but you are somewhat stuck to a couple of looks when shopping, but those couple of looks are pretty cute anyway.
MSD is a lovely meet in the middle being portable with lots of great sculpts and fashions and accessories available, they can be kids or adults depending what body you plunk them on.
and Big Baby is like SD Lite, or YOSD ultra  The premium feel, of an SD doll, with the cuteness and ease of play of a YOSD :chibi
I also love about anime dolls that their big heads give you lots of wigs and eyes options to choose and swap, while picking whichever body size suits your fancy :)
Maybe picking one size makes collector life easier, but which size is my favorite varies on my mood, so good to have all them around :celebrate

    41. I love anything from 1/12 to 1/4. The sizing of the 1/12 and 1/8 is great for carrying around and dressing, 1/6 is the easiest for me to find clothes and patterns for, and 1/4 has a more mature look without being too big for me to hold.

    42. Now I have a 1/4 carry case I think 1/4 is easier to handle out and about

    43. I’m in the All Sizes Baby, Camp. My crew ranges from Owen, Volks Yo Sd (26.5 cm) up to Lucius, my 80 cm Soom Mecha Angel.

I craft for my crew and photograph them, so my favorite size is the doll I’m working with in the moment. how my hands are feeling, how cooperative the doll is feeling, how much effort do I want to put into lens choice, scale, forced perspective.

    44. I have had a lot of experience with the hobby in the past (though I only have one doll as of yet), and I find that 1/4 size is just perfect for me. It doesn't feel like it's too small or too big (although I do love the adorable tinies and the beautiful 1/3s), they are easy to hold and (from what I've seen) usually right in the middle pricewise too!

    45. Over the past almost 20 years this has changed MANY times. I started off with general SD and MSD sizes but gradually faded from the MSD range (a lot!). then I was very much in the Tinies range (so they could fit my miniature doll houses). Then it went back to SD size. Then it went to the Big Baby size which I'm still firmly in. Although I still add all sizes to my collection, as I "buy what I like" even if they are only going to be pretty shelf dollies (I have a lot of those, mostly play line dolls but they make me immensely happy when I look at them or rearrange their displays)

    46. I'm very committed to 1/3 size at this point. My ideal range is 55-65cm - I have a couple of dolls that will be larger, but they aren't what I gravitate towards. I love the size of my 57cm girls most. The 70cm+ boys are simply too large for me, which is a shame because they're gorgeous!

    47. 1/3 and tinies. I like the mature realistic look of the 1/3s and how much easier it is for clothes to scale right, and the fantasy tinies and how cute they look with props and their environment. Sometimes I wonder if I had gotten in a smidge later I would have gotten in on the mature 1/4 train instead of 1/3, but most times when I look at 1/4 I still prefer the dolls I have.

    48. I just received my first doll a couple of days ago. She's a SartoriaJ 1/3.

I initially went in with a "go big or go home" mentality because I've collected a few 1/12 blind box figures and had been waiting on some 1/6 off-topic dolls before I delved into BJDs. 1/4 seemed to me like a minor step up from 1/6 scale at the time. Maybe I wanted my first "serious" doll to have the gravitas she deserves since she is a very precious OC to me.

However, as I'm waiting for another 1/3 to arrive to me, the scale's largeness is a point of contention as I try to figure out the best way to display both dolls side by side while simultaneously preserving their longevity. I still wonder what if I had purchased the same sculpts in their 1/4 versions instead.

The one sure positive of owning 1/3 scale for me at least, is more variety of clothes and shoes to my liking. SartoriaJ's dolls have fuller bodies and bigger feet and I'm not so sure the 1/4 scale has as many similar-fit options. Regardless, given some time when I finally complete my setup, I think my doubts will be cleared.

    49. I started with 1/3.
After a few years, I discovered 1/4 and really like that size. For a short time, I also tried 1/6. To keep the chaos of clothes and wigs under control, I sold everything except 1/4. It stayed that way for many years.
Only recently, I couldn't resist one, or rather two, 1/5 dolls and bought them. And while I was at it, I'll also get a 1/6 doll. We'll see how it goes.

    50. 1/4 dolls for me, easily. They are much easier to pose in my opinion. They are also easier for any sort of travel purposes!

    51. I prefer 1/3 the most but have also gotten into 70cm as long as they aren't too buff (though I do have one really beefy guy haha)

    52. I honestly don't know! I have a 68 cm right now, and my second one coming is about 26 cm- so we'll see.

    53. I've found that i prefer the really short side of the 1/3 scale, like 50-55 cm.

    54. When I first got into the hobby I strongly preferred 1/3 scale, but over time I gravitated more towards 1/4 and now I have mostly 1/4 scale dolls and only two 1/3!

    55. I have small dolls so a Yosd size would be ideal. I would like to have an MSD one day. They feel very good when I went to conventions that had them on display or they brought them as part of their cosplay. The even bigger dolls, I am not sure since those are so much bigger, but not opposed to them.

    56. 1/4 is closest to my answer, but my real answer is anything in the 40-50cm range or thereabouts.

When I was younger I really loved huge dolls, and I still very much do. As I’ve gotten older though, I’m finding I have a strong preference for MSDs or slightly bigger. A portion of this is due to some health issues I developed, but I’m also small and big dolls feel like they take up too large of a ratio of space on me when I hold them. I want to feel like I’m holding a doll when I play with them, not a small child lol.

I’m kind of glad that younger me never got a bunch of huge dolls because right now I don’t really have the space for them either. If I did have space to display them, I’d be far more keen on getting SDs or some even bigger 70-75+ dolls. As it is now, I don’t think I’d be able to enjoy them as much as I can smaller dolls.

Dolls smaller than MSD don’t usually appeal to me because I still like them to be r big enough to feel like they have a notable presence. MSD is a perfect happy medium for me.

    57. 1/6 and smaller but 1/8 has been the easiest to find clothes, shoes, and accessories for.

    58. I like the 1/4 scale the most, it just is easier to build dioramas for, and keep around without hassle. That said, most of the sculpts are not mature looking, which is too bad. I admire mature looking 1/4 scale, and wish some of the 1/3 scale faces were available for them.

The beautiful SDs make me tempted but in the end, I always want them to be the smaller size.

I could see myself being interested in smaller, like 1/6 especially if they could fit mainstream doll clothing and accessories, but I haven't owned any BJD in that size so I can't be sure.

I want abs and grownups in MSD please!! <3 <3

    59. My collection spans the size range from Cait (Lati SP White, Belle) at 12 cm to Rhys (Universe Doll, CangLang) at 75+ cm. I really enjoy all of the sizes, but 1/3 will forever be my favorite. They often have the aesthetic I like, they are simpler to carry than any other size, it is easier to find fabric/clothes with the proper drape. Plus, my first was an SD; it is the size I am most used to.

    60. I'm not too picky about size, anything 1/6 and up is good in my book ^^
I do prefer middle sized dolls though, 1/5 to 1/4 because they're not too big or not too small. Smaller dolls are really pleasant and effortless to handle, but sewing for them can be pretty finicky because of fabric thickness and the scale of everything. Sewing for bigger dolls on the other hand is a lot easier, but they tend to be pretty heavy and thus harder to handle.
