What kind of music do you listen to when making stuff for your doll characters?

Sep 1, 2018

    1. I prefer OneOKRock, Jin Akanishi, BigBang (I’m old school k-pop. I travel to Tokyo when they play the dome). Acid Black Cherry and TVXQ - Keep your head down!

    4. Squee~!! <3

    5. I don't listen to music. I listen to these "creepy stories for a rainy night" or "true creepy stories" or "creepy stories before sleep" narrators/channels/podcasts.

I used to love to listen to the radio, just whatever was on. Then random youtube, and that's how I came to these creepy stories I used to read on Reddit. Only now I can listen to them and do other stuff in the meanwhile. Win-win?!

I'm also a big Linkin Park fan, but can't stand to listen anymore now Chester is gone. One day I will probably be able to again. But now it's just to weird for me.

    6. Do you know Katy Towell's Childrin R Skary? look it up :)

    8. When designing doll stuff I like to listen to ambient or video game music. That way I can't focus in on the lyrics and get lost in it lol

    9. Alright everybody. I live in Japan. And....

Saitama Japan is an $80 plane ticket away. I’m Sin’s wife, and he is taking me to a rock concert on October 20, 2018.

    10. Cherry Blossom,
I can relate. I listened to the audible of “Cabin at the End of the World” (while sewing my eldest’s wedding dress of all things). More gory than creepy. I hate gory movies, but found I could listen to a creepily gory book, no problem. I was so invested in the survival of the protagonists. I just couldn’t stop.

    11. I listen to or watch whatever the doll’s character likes, which could be anything! I find having something the character would enjoy as background noise inspires me to get into their head and keep whatever I’m working on in character for them, whether it’s faceup, clothes, accessories or whatever.

    12. That is such an incredibly clever way to get into the zone, and stay there. Brilliant.
