Customs What is going on with this JFK Customs Delay? (United States)

    1. So, I ordered my DD from Korea while I live in the USA and this is the progress she has gotten so far:

      Thing is, she has been stuck at the John F Kennedy airport for 2 friggin days already(has EMS shipping) and it's getting me frustrated on WHY she isn't going anywhere else! What does the last thing mean? "Arrival at inward office"? I was looking it up on google and it said that she is going through customs but I will be getting her soon. But for 2 days? :sweat Is she going to usps now? And do they also ship on weekends? And will I have to pay for customs? Please, anyone help me! I worry a lot. Someone please put my mind at ease or tell it to me straight! :lol:

    2. She may be out of customs, and just not have been scanned. Check the USPS website once you hit customs, it typically will have more up-to-date info than the EMS site. Also, sometimes JFK gets backed up, there should be a thread on that around here somewhere. There's an extremely high percentage your doll is fine. :)

    3. She's probably stuck in customs since I heard from others that if you have something stuck at the JFK customs, usually it's much more longer. And no, you don't pay custom fees on importing toys in the US...so relax but if it's longer than several days...It's best to call in to check because it's possible that your package was not scanned or missed. :3 Good luck!

      Also, if she's at your local USPS office, it should say so but at this moment she's stuck..awaiting to be cleared out of US custom. And USPS do ship on weekends but only on Saturday and they are off on Sunday's I believe :3. If your doll doesn't come on Saturday then probably either earliest would be Monday or Tuesday..Unless the doll gets stuck longer than that..It'd be best to call in to check if they missed your package somehow... :3
