Shopping What happened to B&G?

    1. I have had a WS B&G Savinar on my wishlist for awhile and was finally going to do a layway but I can't find B&G anywhere. Website does not work and the dealers that carried their dolls all say sold out. When did they go out of business and is the second hand market my only option for Savinar?:pout::pout::pout:

    2. Looking around, it appears they just randomly disappeared around 2017. Their website mysteriously stopped working. Dealers carried them a bit longer, but gradually stopped selling them too. It seems they are defunct, though I don't think anyone ever managed to get a real answer on what happened and why.

    3. I ordered one of their Old World dolls back in 2017 through New Clover Singing. Their wiki page here was last updated in 2018 so I think that's the latest they were active? You could try the second hand market for the doll you're looking for.

    5. My first doll was a B&G Rin in 2009, so I have a soft spot for this company. I was sad when they vanished.

      Just for funsies last night when I was browsing around DoA, I clicked the banner ad for Stacy's Pink Ocean...and saw B&G doll listed. Maybe they bought the remaining stock?

      So....being a good Dollie enabler....the site lists Savinar in stock: stacyspinkocean.com

    11. I messaged Stacyspinkocean around the same time you did last year and she told me that B&G has been MIA for quite sometime. I"m hoping they're just taking a temporary hiatus and not gone forever. If not you best bet is the secondhand market, it's how I found Milaya and Sapphira
