What fits an Iplehouse SID Woman?

I have now been trying to figure out my Grace since I got her, but she is extremely evasive! :P
Think I've been trying to fit her into a too soft style.
But I found the SID man Dark Knight set, and the cogwheels started turning finally
Is there any chance it would actually fit on a small bust SID without it looking weird?? *crossing fingers*
If someone has the opportunity, could you please check it for me?

 

I don't have a SID but I have an EID medium bust and she can wear Soul Doll Zenith BOY clothing. the bum is quite snug for pants and the shirts are fairly fitted. So can anyone advise on the differences in body size shape from that?

For all those interested, the nYID Travelor set for the boys works well on the SID girls (Hat is borrowed from a Dollheart set).

It looks snug "accross" the shoulders... is it? or do you think an EIDW could do it width wise if she had no boobs (thinking of a male doll that Luna can fit his cloths)... It's the arm hole to arm hole width I worry about... the shirt is loose enough it would work I know that. BTW she looks freaking awesome! Hat works well too .. odd since it's so 'fancy' and the rest not... what outfit is is from?

 

It's not snug at all Lady Tiku. I imagine it would work fine on an EIDW with the smaller boobs. The hat is from a Dollheart 70cm pirate set.

 

ooh this is good... if it would fit her... then my zenith should do fine O_o... luna and M can swap easy, in fact he is a teeny bit smaller in the chest/bum ^^ I am happy with this lol. SIDM stuff is super baggy on him and I want to get him in some Iple wear to fit in with the rest of my dolls ><.

!/3 Another Dimension sleeveless shirt (Taobao) on loan from a teammate (Souldoll Vito wearing regular 1/3 stuff thats occasionally big for him...). Its rather snug across the bust and its more green than blue.
ACBJD.com carries this line and you can check with them on getting EID male or close to EID female size custom made. Luts 9-10 wig on loan form Jack (Eid Dexter. Stays on with a wig cap)


M3 coat with removable hoodie. 70cm so the sleeves are a little long. Looks greyish. Version acbjd Monodee 9-10 wig on loan from Jack, there is a 8-9 version. Red shirt is red version of above shirt.



I love M-Style shoes. 1/3 boy shoes. Bought them for her Souldoll Vito teammate who shares shoes and some tops with her.

Nine9 Style has some basic t-shirts that I'd like to get for my girls who are nYID (medium bust) and SID (small bust). There are 3 sizes available: SD13, SD16, EID. Does anyone know which would fit best? There are no dimensions given that I can find :-(

 

is the EID for women or men... if men then not that size... and if you plan on washing it to keep i bright white would it shrink ???

 

I bought an outfit from Volks that is meant for their bigger SDGOU boys. My main concern is SID woman's hips. Helen shimmy her way in, it hugs her hips, does not impede movement much or sitting. I don't expect to do any big movement posing. The pants legs is long but not a problem for me. Its folded up an inch at the moment.
I'm ok with baggy tops since I like the boyish look it creates for the SBust.

I haven't bought clothes from 9style before. Mine was Pupa Paradise and Taobao with full and half back velcro openings respectively. 1/3 stuff meant for a Souldoll Vito boy.
If the SD13 t-shirt is made of stretchy material. SD13 would be chest hugging/emphasizing(black Pupa t-shirt) for a SID Sbust for the lack of a better description.

I shot her in one of the 1/3 Taobao t-shirts before, I had to use tissue paper to block off the nipples since thats how figure hugging it was. I would post a pic if you wish to reference.

I don't have non backopening t-shirts to begin with.

The shirt might fit -- the pants definitely won't. I don't have an SD16 girl anymore, so I can't do comparison pics, but SD16 tight pants definitely would be too small. Skirts and dresses often work, but pants aren't happening.

The SD17 boy pants *might* work -- SID ladies can wear some Iple boy clothing (I'm on my phone at the moment and can't check, but some pants say "nYID boy/SID girl", and there's a pair of blue jeans with seaming on the knees -- I own those.)

My suggestion would be to look up the measurements (especially waist and inseam) of an SD17 boy, in order to give you an idea of whether or not the pants would fit.

Remember, stretchy clothes are your doll's best friend -- pants with a little stretch are more likely to look good than inflexible materials.

The SD16 jumpsuits and loose-fitting dresses fit my medium bust SID Stella pretty well.. She also has an SD16 denim jacket that fits her perfectly. Hope that helps

I don't know about Yomi's blog, but SID/EID feet are large compared to other dolls.

 

In my experience some SD16 size shoes will fit, but it's a matter of luck.

I just asked stacy pink ocean and they said Yomi's Blog shoes' fit SIDs but they're difficult to wear. They said it's tight. But I guess I'll try, hope they'd fit well

Just pumps. Especially some of the ones from Tata actually fit, but also some of the ones I have from Taobao also fit. If you need help I can try on some of the SD16 sized shoes I have and show you

I purchased another pair (different fabric) of these leggings from this seller, and the ones that say EID size are also a good fit on my Iple SID grace. They're just a tad longer than she needs but it's not enough to make them a poor fit. Also they're well made and you can't beat the price!

Speaking of wigs...I ordered both a 7/8 and 8/9 wig from Monique wigs and Brinn (SID Grace) is right in the middle. One's too small the other is too big.

 

Where can I buy beautiful shoes to SID? I particularly do not like the Iplehouse shoes and shops that sell beautiful shoes do not make models for Iplehouse girls. Where to buy?

Ps. Has anyone here ever bought shoes of other dolls that fits well in EID/SID/YID?

this shoe (I have a white pair) fits the NEW feet... old foot is just barely too big. new foot is good but the instep is a bit off but it's fine ^^ I won't vouch for other 'styles' though... just this one I have and tried.

Now, I wanted to bring this up. I have the old Rexy yellow flower shoes, and a pair of the black jewel shoes from around the same time. I know Iple changed the size of the feet, so now the old shoes don't fit my new girl. They are almost 1cm too big. I finally got pictures so I wanted to share, just in case someone else thinks they are insane You're not lol

I asked Iple about the new shoes to make sure before I order the new shoes, since I want the jewels in red and the flower in purple. I also ordered some other shoes, so when those arrive I'll be posting about them for you as well.

 

I have gotten these shoes secondhand through flickr and they fit the heel feet really well! (I have the heel feet on a DC body since they semi fitted and I wanted heels for her) I've asked the seller where she got it and I'll get back to you all once I know. And I'll include pictures!

So there are old shoes, that fit the girls before the foot change, and the new shoes, which fit the new feet now.

well nerts I may need either new feet or try to find some older shoes... my Bliss and Emilia have the old size foot...Luna is stuck with her old size since the yellowing of her body would never match new feet ><. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this already but Nine9 Style sd17 boy pants fit SID girls really nicely. The legs can be a little long but they can sit and pose nicely in them.

Now also a small question I know dollmore clothes are supposed to fit SID, but is it Glamor Model or regular model? These seem stretchy, anyone know if they fit over the hips of an SID? Dollmore.net :: Everything for Doll & more

 

These are LUTS SWS-12 shoes in black. You can see a bit of the start of her toes, but they fit the new feet. This is a new SID from 2016.

These are LUTS SGS-15 For 13 Girl Heel Parts in black. While the toes look perfect peeking out the front, the back seems a bit long. The strap hold the heel in place, but the sides seem to poke out a little bit.

 

I'm also considering buying this set for my SID. But I'm so worried about staining..
I like to have my dolls displayed a long time in the same outfit, since I usually buy expensive and beautiful outfits for them on display. Has any of you had any problem with these tight leather outfits from Iplehouse?

Oh, forgot to mention, though: all of her clothes are actually meant for SD17 boys. I never tried Nine9 SD17 girls clothes on her, so I don't know how they fit... but I can definitely confirm that boy clothes fit perfectly ^___^

 

Oh well guess my SID Zera will have to keep the old style feet I have for her and shoes as well. She has aged some so the NS color would be off if I got the new feet for her. Heck even when I switched them out years ago, that was a fight to get them on

 

I know SD17 boys pants are supposed to be the better fit but I would imagine SD17 girl tops would fit okay too. It seems the main problem with clothing iplehouse is the hips?

It can be very confusing though, I was on the website treedesign who has a section for SIDs and the stuff for them is the same size as SD13 boys.

I guess as long as the clothing is stretchy, it's worth a gamble. I will avoid tight fitting clothing unless I'm certain it will fit.

 

Hmm has anyone tried the Sartoria J clothing on a SID woman? I've found some gorgeous clothing and luckily the measurements look similar...

Not much help I know , but I have a blouse and pants from SartoriaJ for my SID woman, and while the blouse is roomy, the pants are very tight and only work because they have stringing.
I have to say I find SJ's sizing a little confusing anyway, they used to give some size references for their clothes for some doll types and these differed from item to item. But since they have started their own doll lines they've stopped doing that and all you can do is compare to their dolls' measurements. That's a bit odd because so many people used to buy SJ for their Iple dolls and Dollshes.

 

Hmm that does suck. I guess I can look at Dollshe too then.

 

Oh btw under the tab called reference is where you can find the measurements for all the different dolls. I presume items labeled SD W work with all SD women dolls made by Sartorius. I will probably just resign myself to making most of my girl's clothes though...

 

I'm not sure what you are saying here, sorry... Yes, the measurements of their 3 differently sized female dolls are listed under 'reference' (and they are all quite curvy which the nSID Iple women are not, by the way). But they list *all* their women's clothes under "SD Woman", without differentiating further. I did get the pants I told you about from that category as well (link). A lot of those clothes have been available from SartoriaJ for years, and before they made the change these items had differing size references, so they are obviously not all the same. But if it helps, people have said SJ use a lot of stringing instead of buttons or zippers so the clothes are adaptable to some degree.

 

Oh my bad, I misunderstood what you found confusing about the measurements on their website. Once I get my girl in I'll probably take her measurements just so I can be 100% sure I have accurate data to go off of and consider gambling with that set of clothes. Thanks for the help btw too
