What do you think is the most beautiful BJD doll?

Crobidoll Yuri (though now impossible to get) has been the prettiest BJD I think I've seen so far.

 

I'm addicted to the Dollshe Saint for it's versatility. It's masculine, beautiful, graceful, and strong while retaining a certain softness. I have one saint now and plans for a second one. I love looking at other people's saints to see how they've each interpreted it differently.

Crobidoll Soi although I can not find her for sale anywhere and Crobidoll said they aren't going to put her in basic line. She is my dream doll but sadly I didn't know she existed until it was too late

 

Oooh in my opinion, I have to say Ringdoll Andrew! He's the first doll that I really fell for and I hope to have him as my first soon! No pictures, though. Sorry!

 

there's lots of beautiful dolls around~ if I have to choose I would say Volks Michele and Suigintou

 

I love Volks Lorina! She's just so gorgeous, I think if I had to have only one bjd my whole life it'd be her sculpt!

I, personally, am a huge fan of Oasisdolls. Call me biased, but I love both of my Oasis girls and wouldn't have bought them if I didn't consider their sculpts exceptionally pretty!

All the OasisDoll girls are gorgeous. But the first time I saw Naomi, I absolutely fell in love! She is just perfect in every way. I will have her some day!

Dollzone Feilian - 3. There's just something about her, that I love so much that when I first saw her, I wanted her immediately. But she's gonna have to wait so much longer to come home. *Sigh*

I think I've found another contender for prettiest BJD I've seen other than Crobidoll Yuri (earlier post) - Ringdoll Raymond:

 

Elinore, my Aoi Tuki Tukihime hybrid. Yes, the joints are shopped gently out, but she is shaped like this. Utterly perfect.

 

Leekeworld Mihael or Astral in Rainbow Say. I mean... look at those faces!! Completely irresistible

 

DoD Homme Ducan is my favorite of all the dolls I've seen so far; his face is perfect! I adore his nose and eyes! Everything! I don't own him YET but I shall soon enough! >.<

Wows... that doll looks super awesome. I love his blue hair and the chin bell ring doesn't look too bad. He looks like a bad boy too.

 

My favorite doll is my own RS Ya, Fay, although I have to admit that she's the only BJD I've ever seen in person, so that might change if I ever get the chance to see other sculpts. But I just love Fay's sweet expression so much.

Narea girls are absolutely stunning!! But I have such a weakness for crobidoll. Oh my amazing.

 

This thread is absolutely fascinating to me. The differences between the dolls that collectors find to be "the MOST beautiful" are huge!! It parallels the old adage that 'there's someone for everyone', I suppose...except in this case, it's that 'there's a doll for everyone'. As for me, I'm wishy-washy in this regard, and couldn't possibly choose just one.

 

Agreed. Going through this thread was awesome! So many beautiful dolls. I also ADORE the SoulDoll Gisele posted earlier and love Supiadoll Rosy (also mentioned earlier, I think).

Of my own, there are three who stopped my breath with their beauty that I just HAD to have and thankfully I have made those happen. Of course, there are always more that I want.

And then of course, my most bias opinion, because of this being my utmost highest graily-grail doll;

 

Crobidoll Lance, hands down. Doesn't matter what face-up Lance has, whether boy or girl, I love the soft facial lines, those gorgeous eyes, the mouth that can sometimes smile gently, sometimes look serious.

I had to get my own Lance, and make her the angel she was sculpted to be.




Dollstown dolls (especially An Jong Hak's sculpts) are extraordinarily beautiful in a classical, European way. They hit that sweet spot of being youthful and ageless at the same time - not like little children or young adults. I'm especially smitten by Mui - this was the photo that captured my heart. And of course I brought Mui home too.

I've been out of the hobby for almost two years, I only recently decided to get back in (and have my first full doll in a long time on her way home and a floating head currently in my possession). There are three dolls that wrenched me back into the doll hobby with a vengeance! lol I'm more partial to falling in love with someone elses dolls because the company pics hardly do the sculpts justice imho, so I always try to find owner pics and they usually let me know if the sculpt will work for me or not. So 2/3 of these are dolls that are owned by other DoA'ers. xp

First would be Andreja's MNF Chloe. When I saw this girl I instantly fell in love! And began looking at dolls again xp

Second is Waveeeeee's (not sure what her name is here, but that's her name on Instagram) Volks Winter Smile Dreaming NONO. After I saw this girl I started looking for a doll to buy, I orginally wanted to go for the Winter Smile NONO OE. But she was out of my price range for the time being so I kept looking.

Lastly was Napidoll Rogebell. There aren't many with faceups floating around, but her sale pictures on Napi were so awesome that I just HAD to have her! Even if she was just a head! So I sprang on that and shortly after I purchased a Chloe for myself.

It's hard to say with so many beautiful sculpts coming out all the time, and it depends on whether you prefer classical beauty or quirky beauty.
For me there are two favourites that have not changed over the years: Elfdoll Soah and Iplehouse Cocori.

 

Right now I find myself fancying "Stacy" from Doll Chateau. She's just so beautiful and lovely. ...and I love her.

 

I have 2 all time favorites, and about 20 that rotate around spot 3.
Last May I bought a doll from a lady at a convention. He's a hybrid doll, his body is from Doll Family, and his head is the Lampard sculpt from Souldoll

(I fail at decent photographs >.<)

The second doll is my absolute DREAM doll. He's DollZone's Yue. I intend on buying when I finish University or when I find out DollZone is discontinuing him...>.<
