She's definitely very complex and unique! Congrats if you've decided to order her.

 

I really like to see such unique sculpts. It's really refreshing! I am excited to see what comes in the future and I really hope they are just as amazing. The (octopus?) gal was lovely, and I really hope they stick to such a fantasy style.

 

I’m going to be on the look out for an unboxing of this doll. I’m in love with the octopus body, and love to see a video of the different posing capabilities of it.

 

Please do! I would love to see her, I considered picking her up because the body is amazing, but she is definitely out of my price range for now.

Hello! Just reviving this thread to see if there’s a waiting room for this bjd. I ordered her body for a hybrid and I’m really hoping to hear if anyone has heard any shipping news. ♥︎

 

I went through Cloversinging and I haven’t even asked her yet. I’ll compare shipping time notes when I finally ask.

I got the body without the head. I haven’t decided which head I’m going for but I’m fairly certain that Dollpamm’s heads for skinny bodies will work. I have one I can try! I have mostly mature MSDs to try out. But it’s also pretty likely I’ll talk to Batchixdolls to see if we can work something out with one of her printed heads.

Once I know the head, I’ll be able to decide how much I need to mod the neck.

I’ve seen articulated octopus bjd before, but not one like this. One of the other big Chinese companies put out a bigger boy with an octopus body, but Abyssia was first!

I’m excited for our girls/theys/boys! (Haven’t decided if I’m modding the chest or not.)

 

Hello there! Abyssia has already started shipping to people that bought her directly from Whale Tower! I’ve asked my dealer about when mine will ship. I’ll let you know what she says, but it sounds like it’s time to start looking for unboxing videos!

 

New Cloversinging just received mine. She’s shipping out this week!

 

It’s Friday here and she’s on her way to a regional sorting post office. Since I had her posted to my work office, she probably will end up arriving at the library (where I work) on Monday. That’s probably Sunday for you!

I’ve been trying clothes on her:

• Slim MSD (minifee): too big but will slide over her back tentacle.
• Fashion MSD like Iplehouse FID: a bit better but her back tentacle is in the way.
• MonsterHigh: Too small, nope!
• Rainbow High: almost worked, but too small.
• Raouken MSD corset: No, but interesting potential.
• Barbie: Hooded tops work! Her back tentacle slips through the hole in the back.

I think swimsuit tops or backless tops could work well. I’m in the middle of handweaving a beaded bikini top for her.

I hope other Abyssia owners find this thread so we can see more clothing options.

 

I missed out on the pre-order for her, but BJDivas kindly worked with me to get one of the extra ones directly from Whale Tower! She's on layaway, so it'll be a while before she comes home, but I am very excited for her.
