Weird Doll Couples

I have a doll character whose married to another friend's character that the thing that got them together was a one night stand where her girl got knocked up. Worked out in the end tho cause they're still married and have 3 kids. I'm currently working towards shelling all 3 kids as yosd at the moment.

 

Not a single one of my dolls is interested in any of the others romantically, but they are all fond of the tiny.

 

Arthur remains oblivious to Auriel's advances and Auriel himself insists he's not interested he's just cold guv, and it's just practical to suggest they cuddle up for warmth. Nothin' else goin on there.
Besides which, the stupid idiot's jus gonna go get 'imself killed and e's the only one who can read that blasted book a his with the map to the treasure. Someone's gotta look out for the moron, an' relieve him a all that gold.

Of course, whether the rest of the party believe Auriel is a whole other matter.

 

Well...I guess you could say I've got two couples that are a little out of the ordinary....

With Nira and Valon, Nira's a rather forward, direct kind of person with a lot of relationship/romance history (she was part of a very popular athletic team at one point, and racked up a bunch of flings as a result of it). Valon, on the other hand...he's a bit naive in the romance department. Also, he's a bit on the cautious side with social interactions in general (it comes from a difficult childhood with a need to protect himself from bullying from his family and their associates/acquaintances), so when it comes to the relationship between the two...Nira's more up-front about her feelings and her views within the relationship, while Valon gets more awkward and blushy during certain interactions (especially when it comes to intimacy).

My other couple (one is currently a WIP, as she's being slightly reshelled, and the new shell is being made right now) would be Mundei and Zelle. Mundei's a pretty laidback, brotherly and comical fellow, while Zelle's....full of baggage. She doesn't exactly get close with other people because of some of the wretched things she's had to do in her past, and has a difficult time accepting that somebody like Mundei, or anyone for that matter, could truly love her as-is. Zelle takes a lot of adjustment and self-growth in order for things to work between them, but Mundei's as patient as a saint.

Surprisingly...most of the rest of my couples are same-sex, and they're pretty normal and well adjusted.

 

I have couple that is made up of Kit, a boy who was cursed by a wizard with having the head of a cat, and Elion who is a normal guy and doesn't seem disturbed at all by Kits felineness.

 

Honestly, there's all sorts of weirdness over here... Many of my doll characters are based on tabletop RPG and roleplayed MMO characters, with all the usual strange situations that come from that.

Zariel, who I’m in the process of making, is a Lord of Hell, who ends up having a really sweet relationship with a warlock in her service.

Eden (back-alley necromancer) has a thing with Illyra, who is like a holy chosen one.

Acyra, who is an absolute nightmare hybrid, is 7 feet of half-devil half-fire elemental and has a relationship with an elvish assassin. They adopt Zilvriia, who is basically their age.

A lot of the stores behind the relationships are interesting, and there are some fun species differences, but admittedly virtually all my couples (other than Strahd and Clara, and wow are they a lot) are f/f.
