And here's a sketch for a doll that I just don't know if there's a market for... though I do love her myself.

    2. I don't know if I'd buy her, but I definitely like her design!

    3. I do think its a talented design ^^'' but the spider theme creeps me out.

    4. I did a robot with legs like that once- be warned the string will want to pull itself straight so the legs will try to collapse and fold under the doll. Good luck! She's very creepy-cute, so I hope you can make her ^^

    5. Thanks folks! It's funny, I didn't think she was creepy at all until my friend suggested casting her in black resin... and then I was like "Auugh! Creepy!" XD

Thanks Jphobia! I've been wondering how well the legs will work. I'll probably put in some catches to try to hold them in the 'standing' position, while still allowing a greater range of motion.

    6. she looks amazing! really intersted to see how this plays out :]
also, ive heard of people useing thin wires in joints to they stay in the desired position, dont know if that helps or not but still.

    7. Cool :D i really like her hips.

    8. Woah, I realllllllllly like her design! So cool! @o@

    9. Thanks folks! Unfortunately, my mother hates spiders and reeeeaaaally doesn't want me to make this doll... and she's been so great about cheering on my dollmaking efforts in general, that I might at least make one of the cute elf designs she likes so much first. XD
