Hello everyone. Been on a bit of a radio-silence due to life and job. But things appear to be settling and there might be a nice window of calm where I could potentially get back to my dollies. So to that, I say this Journal thread will cover my journey in customizing my Magic Crew. I'll try and keep updates here as I do any sort of progress, which I know for a fact will be slow. I then used a hand drill and a dremil bit to make locking dibbits in the string channels on the knee join to fit the thigh's locking ball. . . Sanded it gently with a fine file to smooth off the corners and scratch up the side surface. . . Then I used epoxy to bulk out the sides to fill in the gaps in the knee socket better. . . Color matching is gonna be a pain. . . Now we wait for the epoxy to cure. My stock is nearly 10 years old, so I hope it won't be terrible... it was a gift from a friend and I just never got around to using it because "life" . . . #dollart #dolls #doll #yosd #custom #customdoll #sewing #dollclothes #bjd #balljointdoll #balljointeddoll #dreamvalley #chaosdoll #bjd #custombjd #faceup #dollart #artdoll #ooak #ooakdoll #bjddoll #bjdmarketplace #bjdmarket #dollchateau #dollchateaubjd #bjdcollection #bjdcentaur #centaurbjd #dollstagram #bjdstagram"
