Aaaaaaaaaand new project journal! Yeah!

Well, I mean, hello everyone!


I've recently recieved a body and two outfits from @KiwiNinamori (Thank you again! ) for Arawn, my Another Secret Milu.
I've slightly mod his head, because, well, I'm not fond of sleeping heads. But her is he with one of the gorgeous outfit and.. nothing else :

I wonder if it's not the first time I get outfits for a doll without having at least done it's faceup. But that doesn't matter. What I like to do on him is:

• Modified the head (done in 2021)
• Faceup on ANS Milu (done in 2021)
• Faceup on IOS Elafi (done in december 2022)
• Wig (done in 2021)
• Tattoos (of course)
• Manicure
• Antlers' decoration for Elafi (done in january 2023)
• New antlers for Milu
• craft some acessories

For once I've take plenty photos of the wig making! Sorry, the firsts are phone pictures and they are not really nice:

I forgot to take photos of third step.
Now Arawn will wait until I have money (and idea) for his hands. I'd like to change his current hands for jointed hands because, well, I love jointed hands. I thought about Doll legends jointed hands but I own many pairs from this company. At least 4 pairs, and already two time the 1/3 male hands. I'd like to find hands from another company.

Hello! Long time with no news on this thread, like always with me and my too many dolls projects!

I've bought an IOS Elafi head here on DOA, 'cause I wanted to make an angry god's head version of this character. Here is the firsts steps of his faceup!

With one layer of pastels:


With one layer of acrylics, applied with a sponge:

One day I will begin his body tattoos. But I wish to try a new method and I'm afraid to damage his body ^^'

 

I let this projet aside for more than a month, but this evening I worked on Elafi' faceup and its antlers decorations. Currently he is looking like this:

I'm using fangs and bones I planned to used for an other project, but it fit him so well I couldn't stop myself.

I made - or rather painted - a walking stick for Arawn.

The bird skull is a resin skull that was given to me some years ago (many years ago) that I painted too.
