Just got my Suzuna all dressed up for the cold weather coming this weekend... She took me to the window and was like "and the snow is... where?" If we get enough snow tomorrow, I'm taking this little ball of sass out and getting her picture in it.

Aww thanks! Now my Lin decided she wanted the "Anna" dress since she's a red head since i had no plans to make these i'm wondering where it will end if my Littlefee's see them!

 

That's OK, thanks! - Releaserain sells things that you can get from a million other ebay sellers too, so I'm sure I can dig up the orange ones (if they're in the cards for Nava ).

He likes his combat boots just fine, but now that he has an orange shirt, I think I want to find him matching shoes. I'm sure he cares about matching less than I do. ^^

 

JennyNemesis I remember seeing ones with skull prints (basic "yosd sneakers" search )!

 

I am asking this question for a friend who is planning to let her Volks YoSD to have a pair of YoTenshi wings.
How do you attach the YoTenshi wings on the YoSD body?

 

The YoTenshi body has magnets already in the body, otherwise you can tape (with a tape that's kind to resin) some small magnets to the body in the position you want them, put on clothes and then attach the wings on top of the clothes. Sorry it's not a good explanation, but I hope it helps somewhat

And I wasn't really suggesting the knee-high ones (though, I'd almost want to see a girl with them on); More like since they had them in orange, they might have them in different lengths. Also noticed that the dollmore ebay might have some.

 

Actually I think knee-high sneakers might look pretty badass-- Isao has extra long legs for a Yo, so maybe he could rock it. I have the feeling this little guy is going to be the death of my storage-space.

Chika and Kakeru together are like 10 gallons of snark in a 5-gallon bucket.

Motiko, your dolls are so cute. I often separate the toes on my larger dolls, but I've never done that to one of my Yos.

 

Man, everyone's Yos are so cute and making me want more than just my Chika!

 

*keekeekeekee* Oh I forgot that Naoto's default outfit came with tall superhero-boots! So the look does work on long-legged-stumpy-guy. He is so effing cute.

I'm sorry for spamming this dude recently, but I'm just so glad he's still as dear to me as the day he arrived

I freed two of my dolls from their hot glued eyes yesterday, and I swapped Naoto's out for the ones my Yayoi came with.
They're a little larger and darker, and I think they make him look even cuter!

Its getting chilly here now so the girls had to wrap up warm for their dogs walk..

Unfortunately, I couldn't bring him with me when I moved for work, but if you are interested, he blogged about his travels in Japan when I was studying abroad. This particular entry was of him complaining about Girl's Day, and being scared of Hina dolls and my host sister...

Gyaaah, I love Rowan! I fall in love with every Kakeru I meet, and he is no exception. Kakeru is the Prince of Snarky. And so so cute. I came dangerously close to adopting one once. Oh is it hard to say No to these Yo-boys.

I love his outfit-- I will assume it's Volks? It almost looks like AnotherSpace, has that same desert-industrial look to it.

 

Jenny, pretty sure that's his default outfit. And Rowan is too adorable!

 

It's not his "default" outfit as most regular release version Yos (as in not themed or belonging to a story arc) only come with a wig. It seems to be a common misconception that they come with the clothes they're pictured with, when really the clothes are sold separately at the event
But yes, that is the cute outfit Kakeru was dressed in for official pictures

 

I do remember that outfit from photos, now you mention it. It'd be nice if Volks offered more regular Yo-boy outfits like that. But I have to say, their usual selections of frills and costumes does mean I save a lot of money not-shoping for Nava. ^^

Also fortunately, I love Nava's default outfit beyond all words.

 

Rinon finally got her cute Kitty outfit back from the Little Fee who "borrowed" it before she ever got a chance to wear it. I love this on her!

I wish Volks would release more casual clothes for Yo-boys, although TTYA and Nine9 Style seem to have some great outfits I'll likely splurge on one day... I must've been out of the BJD loop for quite a while, but where did AnotherSpace go? I can't seem to find their website anywhere anymore.

Btw JennyNemesis - your Isao-kun, Nava, has a great default outfit I'm a fan of SD13 Isao's 2nd release, and even more so of the chibified version - though Thack would never let me get him in either form. Ha. He's as green-eyed as he is green-eyed.

@lolita - spam away!! Now I want to get some kind of jammies for my two little rugrats...

Ugh, I wish the temperature would go up for just one day so I could paint my poor little Yayoi who's been blank for two weeks now (I just couldn't stand that faceup she had). I would like to bring her with me over the holidays but it seems it won't be possible like this

 

@Mylene - Thank you!! I like the default combo too, but the blonde wig is so temperatmental ^^;

@Mayonaka - Me too, can't wait! My dad's a good sport, and is bringing Rowan in his carry on with him to Taiwan for the holidays. Then I'm bringing the twins home with me! Lots of pictures then And yes, the waiting period gives just enough time and anticipation to kick your imagination into gear.

@Motiko - Thanks! Hope you can paint Yayoi's faceup before you leave for the holidays.. Hope the weather warms a little - we'll be seeing photos of her once her new faceup is done, right?

Here are the twins reunited here in Taiwan! Aysel's not too happy that Rowan took the gray Hitomiya eyes, but I think green might be better for her. She'll have her own Hitomiya pair once we get back, so hopefully she'll stop pouting then.

Hoping I can visit Cotindoll shop in Taipei before I leave. This vacation is way too short... Anyway, Hoping I can get some new boy clothes for Rowan from TTYA or Nine9style when I get back to the US >_<;; I haven't shopped for him in almost 5 years!

Wanted to share a pic I took of Mika the other day. I made this bench in eighth grade for a school assignment, long before I had any BJDs.
It's at my parents' place but my mom offered to bring it next time she visits. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I think it works surprisingly well for Yos
