There were speculations a long while back of a new "SD16" line to come...

What do they usually retail, the Tokyo boys, after the event where they're released?

How do you go about buying one through people that buy it for you without an auction?

Where can I sell my soul? Where have you heard news or rumors about SD16 bodies?

To me it don't matter as long as he's a new face..not a smaller version of an already existing doll...or maybe sunlight @__@ yeah...sunlight would be good.

Volks released a semi-creepy brochure with the stages of one's life plotted out with super dollfie. Above SD13 is SD16 then "mother SD'. The mother SD is Mary and won't be released, but we've heard that the SD16 will be released. No further information on size or design has been given. My personal best guess is that they will be slightly taller than SD13s and the boys will have a more "ripped" build, a la Souldoll or maybe even Bermann and the girls will be even more curvy (even though SD13 girls are fab because they're so pretty and yet so realistically proportioned. >.<)

You can kinda see the fourth boy here - the outline in red, with a long trenchcoat thing. I thought I had a bigger scan somewhere, need to go searching on CDs for it.

 

And just as we thought that the Hounds/Bermanns would stay the 'tall boys forever'... *grin* May not for much longer!

Wow. From the looks of this one, I might have to plot and scheme to get him instead of Ru (Ru is unlimited, patient, and probably would be gleeful to have two wonderful big brothers). Hopefully he won't be out for a while...might be the first Volks doll I get!

Haha- the thought of a MSD-sized Tokyo Boy is just brilliant. Some kid (I keep picturing Hewitt) giving Isao, Shiro and Tsukasa lip. *is tired*

It would be so cool for them to finally release a SD16 boy! I've been waiting for a while to see what they will look like. I hope they aren't TOO much different from SD13s, cause really tall, really muscular guy dolls creep me out just a little. ops:

I never thought about the forth Tokyo Boy being anything other then an SD13 boy, but actually, having him be older is a nice touch (if he really will be a SD16, that is). :grin:

Ooooh, yes. It would be SO cool if the 4th boy was the flagship for a whole new doll size.

sd16,,, wouldn't he be much taller than other tokyo boys?
I don't think taller boy than Isao would fit into
the whole tokyo boy story...... at least that's what I think.
Isao supposed to be tallest of all the boys?
(hmm a little disappointed that it's not SD 13).

Comparing the two silhouettes (and I know I have seen a different photo with Isao somewhere) if the short haired silhouette is Isao, then the long haired one is slightly taller in comparision (look at the space between the top of the board and the head of each figure).

Personally, I'm hoping for a sunlight dreadlocked or braid guy, but I know that is asking for a bit much. I am sure what ever they come out with will be very cool, and probably the most produced of all 4. I just hope they have the store open here in LA and we can order him there. And it is cool that Mikey is designing him, that means he will fit in with the others.

Not likey to be sunlight, but after seeing Janne's boy, oh my, how could anyone not want a sunlight boy?

At least it's pretty obvious he's gonna have long hair. Be cool if it was a House of Daggers style.

Any hair he has is OK with me as long as he has a more "adult" face ^^; That's what I wish. Like Mikey version of Heath or Lucas (of course not directly, but their more mature looks).

And I agree that most of the dolls do look very nice with their natural skin tone. I couldn't even imagine a sunlight Madoka or Jun T.

Volks is really slow about giving out info. Sarah has been great with what she has told us. I did see on the Dolpha after report that the President spoke about the future of Volks and that info will be provided soon on their website. So does this mean we will finally hear more about the new store??????
