i feel attatched the boy boy already @_@. Though i feel that he looks very girly haha!

 

Ohmygosh, Kanata is adorable! >3< I was very distressed for a moment when I saw him on the site and thought he might be a limited ;o; Baaah~! I'm so glad he's standard! Once owner pictures of him start coming in, I'll probably end up adding him to my wishlist.

 

*phew* I managed to grab a vampire outfit off the Japanese website. I really wanted it and Chibi Dress stuff goes fast, so yay~ Also schpitts (my SD Mark has holes for them) and one of those "visual" DD wigs. Because my Maki T. only has 6 wigs, he needs more? ^^;;;

I can't wait to see owner pics of Kanata and Rinon, I think they're both fantastic.

Rinon will arrived the 24th in September !
The doll was very limited at Sumika (1 or 2 maximum).

when will volks start selling sd kanata in the their website??

 

Volks USA will probably be selling their Kanata around November 15 because of the Autumn Event Rush~

Volks Japan website already sold out of Kanata (I was very lucky to get mine when an order got cancelled)--they sold out super fast, but I'm sure he'll restock at some point since he is a standard

I hope they have some stock of Kanata at the Japanese Sumikas in a couple of weeks. I'd love to buy him in person when I'm there! I completely forgot what day it was so I missed the Layered Prince outfit I wanted for him.

 

It's always good to check back often when Volks International Website posts news when they re-stock their dolls.

Since Kanata and Rinon are new standard models, they're sold out right now. But they will be re-stocked and can be bought again.

 

Oi! I got so confused and forgot to check back today. I want the little vamp set!!! Do you think Volks USA will get them too?

 

I would think so. They should have them two months from now. =3

 

Darn it. So the Halloween outfits will come in after Halloween...
It's ok. I guess we could use them next year.

Allright, I've been following this thread for a while and gosh darnit, not another doll on my wish list, no! Kanata why are you SO freakin cute?? I think he wants to come over to my house and join the family so it's time to start saving...thank goodness he'll be a regular and wow aquaspiral you must be so happy to already be getting that boy in your posession! I can't wait to see some more pics of him

 

I think Hana would look adorable as a tiny mummy!!! I'll see how much extra money I have when they're available from VolksUSA.

 

There should be a new Sato-only MSD and SD head mold, right? Does anyone have photos or links to photos of those new heads?

Congratulations on getting him! I'm eager to see photos of your new boy too, and I'll probably be the first one to ask if you could please take photos of his head on a SD13 boy body as well. I'd be very grateful to you as well as many other members here.

I went to a Sumika yesterday, and they had some Rinons and Kanatas around so I got a good look at them ^^. Rinon is pretty right out of the box, I actually like her default faceup. Kanata is cute, but reallllly pinheaded. I don't think he'll work very well on an SD13 body. They also had examples of Elena, Mark, and SwD Myuu in beauty white. The Mark was on an SD13 body, but the neck really is too big for him ^^;. I think you'd need to mod the neck to make it look right.

I do wonder what the new FCS heads will look like . . . can't wait to see sunlight versions! ^^.

 

No problem ^^. Kanata doesn't look out of proportion on the SD10 body, though! Just a very delicate little head.

 

I went onto the TNS Event site yesterday morning, and managed to get one of the YOSD Zombie outfits! I couldn't recall my darn password for EITHER of my previous accounts on their site, so I had to register a THIRD and missed out on the YOSD Kitty Sleeping bag and almost on the mummy outfit. But, I got the main thing I wanted. Anyone else?

 

I'm waiting for owner pics of Kanata, and then he'll be on my wishlist if there's nothing I really dislike. I'm excited to see!

Wow, thank you for sharing these photos of your Rinon, aishiteru! She looks even more impressive in owner photos. This introduction photo is really great, since it shows off her cute nose, eye shape, glossed lips and faceup well. I also like the cut and color of the wig that you've chosen for her... makes me wish that Volks released her as a redhead. She looks beautiful!

 

The vamp outfit and visual shaggy wig (choco purple) I ordered showed up today ^^. The wig is going to be finicky to deal with, I think ^^;. And for some reason the shorts on the vampire outfit are quite roomy O_o. They'll actually fall down. Mind you, my Colin is currently going commando, perhaps undies will help.

 

YAY Kanata is a pinhead! That means he will work better with all my elfdolls.

Wow, Rinon's lips are so glossy! Love the soft faceup for her.

 

Does Rinon have teeth? Her lips look slightly parted in that photo. It's hard to tell since Volks always paints over them.

 

Here are a couple pics of Kukuri (Kanata)~ I put him in 18/9mm eyes because the 16mm ones looked small to me ^^; I'll post more pics of him in the gallery later His head doesn't actually seem that small to me But I guess he is compared to the larger head Volks dolls~

Here is the link to my gallery thread from the same photoshoot http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=326313 . As for his head size, it's roughly the same size as my SD13 Tsuyoshi Maki. (like exactly the same size when their heads are off lol). However, his neck hole is a little deeper and narrower than Maki's so his head does not fit well on the SD13 body (the neck is too thick for his neck hole). I think it's possible to mod either the neck hole or the SD13 body neck to make it work.

*L* That's hilarious that his head is the same size as a Maki T's - but then, my Maki T has a very small head ^^. I figured there might be trouble getting Kanata on an SD13 without modding because the FCS Mark they had on an SD13 body at the sumika was definitely not sitting right on the neck, and Mark's somewhere between kogao and large - a bit bigger than Kanata, anyways.

On the other hand, my Luts 08 Man head is the same size as my Maki T's . . . and he's meant for a 70cm body ^^.

Rinon arrived after just 3 days! *GLOMPS VOLKS* It is such a rare thing to not have to wait for a doll, LOL! I am very happy with my little Rinon, Alice. Her sculpt is quite versitile and has a good range with just a simple wig change. More photos can be seen here.

Congrats on getting her, red rosin. She definitely can go from innocent to devious with ease. I still prefer her with her default wig, mainly because I thought she was perfect from the start. Hehe~

I liked Kanata better in promo photos, but I am quickly falling in love with Rinon as I start to see more owner photos. Thanks for all the examples, everyone! Or maybe I shouldn't thank you - I need to add another doll to my wishlist now XD.

I ordered the YOSD Mummy suit on the morning of the 22nd from Japan, and it arrived YESTERDAY!!! Three days??? I'm impressed. I didn't even get a shipping notice and was HOPING it would get here in time for Halloween! Now my new Rengemaru 2 will have a costume to wear!!!
