F-20 is really pretty! I cant wait to see more pics. I wonder who i will decide... F-18 or F-20. But this head looks more like my style

Since I'm having no luck on searching the forum, I will risk sounding stupid and ask how one becomes a VIP or VS member of Volks? I see on the news thread that if you're a member, you can preorder her. It's probably too late to be one for this event (or maybe not, why am I asking?? I have debt out the ears!!) but for future reference, so I can one day grab myself a Yuki

I like the lips on the new F20 but I really wish they introduced a head which takes option ears.

Is the sailor style outfit a new omukae outfit?

 

Omukae Dress SD13 Boy may have the different design, but I haven't received my Volks News yet, so I don't know these infos well yet

F-20 head reminds me of SD F-34. People who love this head mold may love new head...?

I adore the new Yo outfits being released and I'm so curious what the SD size Omukae outfits look like. I like the MSD ones so much more this time!

 

I agree that F-20 looks like Luna, particularly in the lips. I do agree, though - the eyes are like F-34. What a cutie! Can't wait to see more pictures!

I kinda like the old omukae outfits more, but the seifuku are pretty cute, too.

 

I really like the yo chef outfits alot. The msd omukae outfits really are to my liking, but I have a thing for sailor style outfits

 

The new MSD FCS head/mold is gorgeous... It looks like little version of Luna, even more beautiful ^^ It is going for my wishlist right now

I agree the eyes are like F34 with Luna lips and possibly Toppi nose I think it promises to be a really versatile mold. I can picture her in several ways in my head already.

 

The MSD F-20 looks so much different from the rest of the FCS MSD lineup. Is it just me or could it pass as a SDCute?

No, the old Omukae outfits are all sold out already. I was surprised by how quickly they sold out actually. ^^; I'm curious what the SD+ size Omukae outfits look like.

I believe I read elsewhere that those outfits are for a Volks clothing event on the 20th of October.

Awww... that's too bad. I didn't realize they were made in limited quantities! I thought they were really cute. Maybe I'll find them on the second hand market!

But the new ones are so cute! I can't wait to see what the rest of them look like.

Yeah, I hadn't realized either. lol I ordered a few for a friend with a FCS order I placed in March and was surprised when I went back in April and only SD boy was still available.

I'm so curious to see the SD boy one, since I love the size but find it a hard size to find the sorts of things I am looking for in. ^^;

I'll miss the old omukae outfits. I saw a picture of an MSD F-18 girl wearing the old omukae dress and I fell in love with it.

I wonder if the girl outfits will be mostly identicle to each other like the old ones, or if each size will have a different design? I can't wait to find out, especially since we'll be able to get omukae dress in America after the LA Dolpa!

PS- I don't think I've ever told you, but your Nagisa is sooo cute!!!

 

I have to join in on the excitement. I LOVE that new MSD head... I see Luna through and through. Oh Ria_ria, I may need another FCS girl! IMO the MSD F18 resembles Kurumi and the MSD F20 resembles Luna, both of which I love but was wishing they were in white skin. Maybe I'm just imposing my ideals though

I really like quite a few of the outfits - all the Yo clothes are adorable! The new omukae outfits are beautiful. Does it look like the girl outfit has a blue dress under it?

Thanks so much Cammy! . Nagisa was actually the first mold I fell completely in love with and I was so glad when I was able to get one in 2005. I'm planning at this event to try and get my next dream doll, a Yo Tenshi Yuki!

Krambear has the old MSD Omukae dress. I think only the SD-13 boy outfit was really different. I do wonder if it will be like that this time. I will try to let everyone know the night of the 6th.

I don't know how it worked in terms of Omukae outfits and the LA Sumika/US FCS since I've only ever placed FCS orders at Tenshi no Sato. The Omukae outfits seem very popular though and I'm glad Volks is now selling them. I'm hoping they will renew the outfits every few months if they keep selling out.

You must be so excited your Sweet Dreams Nono will be here soon, and I really think this new one is so cute!

I'm so happy you were able to get one of your favorite dolls! And Yuki is so adorable! Are you hoping for the Normal skin version or the White skin version? I love white-skinned dolls, but I bet white skin Yuki will be really hard to get a hold of! I wish you the best of luck in getting your Yuki!

I wonder if they will keep changing the omukae dress as each version sells out. People would start collecting them as much as the dolls!

And yes, I'm estatic about Sweet Dream Nono coming home soon! Like your Nagisa, Sweet Dream Nono was the first Super Dollfie I ever fell in love with, so actually owning her is a dream come true! Especially since this version is so cute, and painted by my favorite Volks artist, Ciera!

 

I have a soft spot for Kyon, since she was the first artist I ever met and she is often very friendly when I see her. Though all of the others I've met since have just been lovely people as well.

I just want a Yuki. lol I'm hoping I get a good lottery #. I'm definitely buying the chef set for my yos if I can as well.

I really like this version of SwD Nono and her dress is so adorable, it sort of reminds me of the new Omukae outfits a bit. I love sailor uniforms. Since the outfits are going on sale on the 28th from the Osaka Dolpa, I bet the dolls ship about that time too.

They could repeat outfits after some time, but yeah they might become semi collectible in their own right. lol

It is incredibly lovely when people are able to get dolls they really want, particularly at retail price.

Maybe Volks will make a lot of the LE white skin Yuki like they did with Mamu and you will still be able to get one.

I have a feeling that F-35 and F-36 are Mark and Elena's heads, but it's just a guess!

 

Oh my! Sato still has yugiri?! I think I'm in major trouble- I think I might REALLY fall in love with them when I see it in person and I said I was not going to buy a doll when I went to tenshi no sato on sunday! DX

All the new YoSD outfits are so cute~ and the SD gothic outfits look great too, hopefully they won't be very hard to get!

It may be be limited to 1 per person (that is how the US events are). I do wish you the best of luck! You could also start saving for Yahoo! Japan as I bet you will be able to get one there as soon as the preorders are shipped. There will probably be a little flood of them right around that time. Good luck!

Most newly released heads are Sato-only, at least for a little while. Even Standard doll heads. When Kun, Yori, and Link's heads were first added to FCS, they were Sato-only, then were later made available to all Sumikas.

That's what I thought. Thanks I am trying to remember how long they typically stay Sato only, but I'm not sure there is an actual system. I guess I'll have to get my new girl from Sato. Thank goodness for all the sweet people that offer Sato services

I don't think Volks has a specific Sumika-release schedule. They just make heads available to Sumikas when they feel like it. MSD F-18 was made a Sumika head just a few months after being released as a Sato head! Lets hope that MSD F-20 will be made a Sumika head soon!

I highly recomend ria_ria for Sato orders. She's such a sweetheart.

0.0 THOSE NEW YO-OUTFITS!!! Oh my!!! I want them all! I haven't really been excited by chibi-line in awhile. Wow.

 

Gosh...can someone help me with getting a membership? I have a Volks MSD and a friend in Kinomoto who is willing to preorder/go to the event and get me a Yo-Tenshi, but we need some kind of membership. Can someone PM me and explain this process?

Your friend needed to be a member before the invitations were sent out the last week in September, so I don't think there is a way for him/her to go to this event now, at least probably not the first two days. ^^;;; The event is fairly popular and they do check invites at least on the first day.

If they're willing to go to events for you, your friend should go to a Volks store and pay the 1100 yen for VS membership so that he/she is sent invitations to upcoming events. It doesn't matter whether they own a doll or not, anyone in Japan can buy a membership.

Going to events is a very long and not always successful process. I think Ria Ria has a post somewhere with her experiences.

 

Thanks muchly, rkold, I'll tell her this. She's there for at least another year so hopefully, if she decides against trying for this one (since I don't want her standing there in long lines for nothing), she can try for a Dolpa or something.

 

Ummm Dolpas often involve waiting in long lines too. ^^;;

My husband and I went to Dolpa 17 in Tokyo. We got on line at 6:45 am. I waited for the Sumika (#95) and he was waiting for my LEs. Around 7:30ish, the lottery started in which the people on line for the LEs were given lottery #s with their actual position on line. I was lucky, my husband drew #428. A friend got there before him and was over 4000. Even with a good #, my husband then waited on line until 11:30 to pay for my LEs. My Sumika # was not very lucky. 4 of the outfits I wanted were already sold out by the time I went inside.

I think it's great your friend might be willing to do things for you, but you and she ought to know there will be lots of waiting in long lines.

 

Dolpa lines are so tricky! Dolpa 17 I took five people with me and we all got numbers over 1000. I was lucky and Rkold generously helped me get my Reisner, but there's a lot of waiting in a lot of lines.

I hope everyone who's going to the event have a good time! I miss Japan so much, I wish I could go too and get one of those new SD FCS. They're all so cool!

I hear from ria_ria how hard it is at these events and Dolpas. Most people don't realize the amount of time one ends up waiting in line.

I was told someone had queued in line very early in the morning and didn't get to pay until 5PM all that time not having a bite to eat

 

翼 is the kanji word for wings.

There are so many Yuki's on Yahoo! Japan right now! Wow!!! I have a bunch bookmarked to see where they end at. They are still above retail (especially with shopping service fees) but the ones up now that end in a few hours seem to be going for less than the ones that sold before the event. That is so good for everyone who wanted a little Tenshi! I hope you all are able to get your dollies!!

Those wings on the other hand are so pricey!! Ouch! I am afraid to see where those are gonna end at. I really want some, but I dunno if I can afford them. Oh well! Perhaps someday they will be mine! ^_^

 

I got my Yuki in March of 2007, off of Yahoo!Japan, and paid $727.00 for him if you want to use that for a marker of price.
