Oh, I'm so excited for Mytyl! I'll definitely try for her. She will be my first Volks finally if I manage to get her. I really want a fcs doll, but they still won't offer sdgr girl bodies so, still waiting. Do we know how much she'll be? I would have bought Cinderella, but I don't like special skintones making it harder to get extra parts like the flat legs and different hands so since the Frozen girls will also be non standard skintones, my wallet is safe.

 

I really want to go for Mytyl too but not sure it will go global...

 

I'm super safe on all the recent doll releases because I'm saving for a F-75 Sunlight fcs but man am I not safe from the after event clothing drop

 

So excited I got an email from VolksUSA with a shipping schedule for Lieselotte and etc! She will be arriving closer to my birthday now, so I guess she’ll be an early birthday gift rather than a Christmas one.

I think for this one so far it’s just a spoiler for now. I haven’t seen any info yet on it yet if it will be a Japan only release, or lottery or preorder or if it will be released on the US site. So I think all we know is that there will be a release and it will be coming up shortly.

The spoilers are fun and exciting but they always kind of leave me with this feeling of...alright did I read everything?! Am I missing something?! Maybe there’s more info there on lottery info or something that I just didnt see or understand?! Or maybe there’s another link that I didn’t see maybe!! Haha

If I’m wrong tho on any of this please someone correct me. (maybe there actually iS more info that I didn’t see! LOL!!)

For the global event, the one-off notifications have gone out, I believe. It was like 3 am? I think there were two reports of wins.

Unfortunately, no one-off winning email for me for the international event. Oh well! There's still the USA Holiday lottery . . .

 

Ah, OK. I didn't enter for a one off but for one of the best of. When I check my lottery entry it still says application. Not sure if that's good, bad or what.

 

Volks USA just announced the lottery entry for Disney Frozen girls from Nov 20 - Dec 10. Oh well

 

I was content to be a lurker here for the rest of my days, but since I know you all would understand, and I don't have anyone to share this with…I won Miruku!! She has been my grail for so many years, the top girl on my list. I was on the fence about entering, for money reasons of course. This has been a good year doll-wise. But not so good for my bank account lol. Anyhow just wanted to share my excitement!

My still says application too, but I’m assuming that’s just is a lag and winners have already been told - not sure though.

 

I believe the winner emails all went out yesterday. I didn't enter but I know several people who won! I saw someone with a one-off win too, so I imagine those have been sent as well.

Has anyone seen any SDGr Dream Angel Una winners?

 

I think there were one or two that I saw. It seems like the winning emails went out sometime around 3 AM. However, if some dolls aren't paid for, I think it definitely could be possible to still win. In the past, it seems the application turns to "defeat" after some time, but it might be a week or so I think. I have a lot of defeats on my account haha . . .

I totally get that! I actually have never won a lottery on my own acct even after 5 years or so of entering. At first you feel disappointment for sure. Then you use the money towards some other dolly goods to soften the blow hehehe!! And cross your fingers for next time!!

Have to admit the Dear SD of Elsa is making me very curious about about the adult version. I'm not a big Frozen fan, but if the sculpt really appeals to me I might put in for her. Neither Rapunzel or Cinderella called to me.

 

I was sad Cinderella was limited to Japan. I'm meh on the SD Dear Frozen (not a fan of the scale), but SDGr Elsa... yeah I'm really hoping they do her justice. I cosplay her so I'd love to make mini versions to match some of mine!

I am a bit confused. When I go to the volks usa site to check on my holiday entry I don't see the order at all. Is that normal?
am I in the wrong area to check the order? I am in the regular order shopping login area for the bjd. Do orders just disappear if you didn't win. I presume they are sending out winners for the holiday event?

 

So you won't see your order for the lottery under the regular website. You need to go back to the lottery page, then click "enter the lottery" to go to the special lottery site. Only there will you see your lottery history after logging in.

I am wondering if early this week we shall see the USA results! Oh, I hope there are winners on DoA! It makes me so so excited seeing the winning reports. Like you can totally imagine the shock and disbelief. I was totally not expecting a holiday lottery this year since Volks hosted the global event, so my head's still reeling hehe.

Volks released a Lucky Bag on their International site! Did anyone get one? And will they create any for Volks USA? I didn't even know they were there and now they're sold out!

Also I'm looking into getting an F59 soon. Any idea what eye and wig size they wear? ❤

 

I participated in the wig Lucky Bags but not the outfit set. I think the outfits sold out really quickly from recollection. For F-59, I've seen 18mm eyes mostly. I don't have the sculpt so can't say exactly how her head size compares, but my F-53 doesn't have a huge head. Still, with a wig cap, I prefer 9/10 but stretchy 8/9 also works. It is so funny how different sculpts have varying head circumferences. My F-62 definitely seems to have a larger head compared to my F-53.
