I got to have a total fangirl squealy moment; I met K. Mayura & didn't even know it! She's my absolute favorite face-up artist & she was posing her Megu with mine & I was too busy posing her & staring at her awesome faceup to notice her name-tag! She's really sweet & didn't run from me as I sputtered how I loved her work, lol!

I haven't installed the drivers for my new camera yet, so it will be a few days before I can upload pictures. But it was so much fun!!

 

The yosd this time has a diff body. NO seperate joint for upper body? Just one piece, then legs.

The new body looks nice, but i wonder if the back is as arched as the SD10 original body, and if it is the same size as the original Yo body.

 

The back is arched with no chest joint, but I've been having problems getting them to sit in swarrico. But it may be due to the tights I have on my yo Mimi. I'll have to play with them more. I'll post pics once I get back to the US.

SQUEEEE!!! The Yos are so cuuute!!! Awww, just look at little Nono's adorable round head and big smile!! And little Mimi's big eyes and cute little nose and smile are so sweet!! Sweet Dream Nana is gorgeous too!! I love her purplish eyeshadow! I just want to cuddle them all!!!

Isn't the YoSD Origin Body cute? It's just the way I imagined it!! I hope that lots of people will bring their little sweethearts to the next NYC Dolpa so I can adore them!! Congratulations, everyone!!!

 

I was playing with one of the yos this morning without any clothes on. She poses really well. The arched back changes the yo center of gravity so sitting in swarrico is not a problem. Clothes like tights can make it harder for them to pose well.

 

Thanks for pointing that out. II have problem posing normal yos in tights anyway so may not be just an origin body problem but the swaricco legs

 

That's great news!!! The Origin Body is just so cute, it would be sad if it didn't pose well. It's hard to pose my YoSD Megu in the suwarrico position when she's dressed, and she has the regular YoSD body.

I want little Nono so badly!!! She has the cutest little round head, like a tiny melon or an apple! I just want to cuddle her and pinch her chubby cheeks!!

 

First off...Congrats to all those who were able to attend this event! And more Congrats to those who won goodies!!!

Now onto another what's baking my noodle....to clarify...the Yo-SD "origin" body, a.k.a. the newest Yo body released, does not have a torso joint? But the earlier Yo bodies do? I feel kinda silly asking, but I just want to make sure I have it straight, because it seems a bit like Volks took a step backwards. Then again, if this body is a re-release of the first Yo style, or something customers have been requesting, it makes perfect sense.

Yes, the YoSD Origin Body isn't jointed, while the normal YoSD body has always been jointed. The YoSD Origin Body looks like a smaller, younger version of the original, non-jointed SD10 girl body, so it's a tribute to the very first SD girls! It's really cute!!! You can find lots of pictures of it here on Yahoo! Japan Auctions! (Thanks for the link, rkold!!!)

 

Oh my I love Nana's purple eye shadow and Nono's chubby cheeks!! It so painful to see them for sale, I hope all of the Yos out their on Y!J find wonderful homes!

I have winned Yo Nana swd ! it is a little expansive but if i have going to tokyo paid bus, transport and other, it was more ! so i am happy !

I just got my little Yo-SD Syo today. He poses like a dream ;-; (And so small! I have never really played with a Yo before ^^)

 

*melts into a little puddle* Jessen, he is SO adorable and that picture is wonderful! I'm going to cross my fingers and hope Syo gets a normal release. (Because what I really need is more Yos XD)

When I went to Sato yesterday, the dolly doctor thought the Yos should arrive this week, but someone else thought that it probably wouldn't be until next week.

 

I certainly hope they come in this week. I definitely could use the pick-me-up.. heh. ^_^;

My DOA marketplace Disneyland YoSD Kira is also on her way (just got past customs yesterday). So YAY FOR SECOND HAND DISNEY YO'S!!!!
Although, it would have been so much fun to have been able to go & gotten them at the actually event

I've just received a response from those folks at Volks about the shipment of our Yos!

So it looks like they should arrive after the next Dolpa. Kinda makes sense, what with all these events crammed next to each other. Ooh, I can't wait to finally see my Shyo, although I was kinda hoping I could bring him to the Kyoto Dolpa

 

RAWR. What the crap is this? This is unacceptable, I'm sorry. I would have hauled them back myself if I had known.

 

one thing I found out about the YoSD Syo is that their heads are bigger then what they say most YoSD's are. Bought a wig for my little guy and it ended up being much too small D: Had to go one size up. Just throwing that out there XD
