If I had an SD doll I'd want the Eternal Rose too

 

The outfits are sooo pretty!! Why must you release the most beautiful stuff Volks when I have such little money?! Oh well...
I'm wonder does anyone have an estimation as to how exspensive the Yo-SDs will be by the time they are on the secodn hand market? I doubt they'll be their original price of 490USD...If only Volks gave them out for free!*whishful thinking*

 

I actually don't think the Yo's are going to hit astronomical prices since they are handling their sales like a preorder. Potentially, everyone who goes can get one of each, guaranteed, which means there are going to be a lot of those little guys floating around to sell.

Last year, Yuki and Yuh's aftermarket prices both plummeted after their preorder period and now you can get either one for a reasonable price on y!j. I've seen several sell for retail.

 

Wow o_o what doll is that modeling the Twilight Dream set? SwD School A?

 

Yes, they all seem to be School A with one Sweet Dreams School A.

And those outfits are gorgeous! They seem a little less embellished than previous releases but still gorgeous outfits. The boy's outfit actually reminds me a lot of Dollheart's style, so I'm enjoying them.

 

Even if there are many Yo`s leaking out to the market, I think it`d still be a bit expensive as the event itself is quite costly to go to. Not to mention not everyone has the plans of being a secondhand dealer (which I despise and hence why I have no Ryu yet ;_

Not to mention they actually have nice clothes to go with.

 

I know that my Yo Kun would love company!

Thanks for that! It seems that there would be a lot of Yos leaking out into the market. But I can see the price of them be expensive due to the price of actually going to the event. The event seems expensive within itself...

The SD13 (its SD 13?) boy outfit does look a lot like a Dollheart outfit! The Eternal Rose bonnet reminds me of the bonnet Volks Shinku's default outfit comes with.

That would be wonderful if your Kun could have a friend!

They look like they should be...I have horrible knowledge of school heads....

 

As long as the Yos are accessable... then the only real problem is my wallet... lol,
because right now I want at LEAST 3 of them

 

I have that same problem...I've tried to prioritize which one is save up for...Sweet Dream Nana, Nono, Kira, then Mimi....Their cuteness is hard resist!

 

I just want the Kira, haha. That's it. I can live with just her. I swear.

 

Well, if the secondary market for the YoSisters is any indication of what these little angels will go for I would say the $700-850 range. But I am going to stay hopeful to find one a little more reasonable. I reeeeeally want a YoNono & Mimi.

 

And contrariwise, Yo SD Kun and Yo SD Ryo do not sell for much more to less than retail on Y!J. ^^;;

The Yo 4 sisters were a lot more limited than these dolls will be. For the Japanese they were only available to those who attended Tokyo Dolpa and potential owners were only allowed 1 of the 4 sisters. People attending this event get to pre-order all 7 dolls.

 

I love the outfits. Too bad I don't have a SD/SD13 size doll yet.

 

What wonderful dresses! I am in love with Twilight Dream and Eternal rose reminds me of Shinku's dress. I can't wait to see owner pictures. Also, this may be a bit off topic, but I really can see an improvement in the setting and quality of Volks pictures.

 

oooh, Eternal Rose is styled like Shinku's dress, part deux... but in velvet! I hope they release it (or something akin to it) for the christmas after events.

 

I'm overly paranoid and preparing for the worst! I'm trying to put away 1000USD (which scares me to death to think one wuld cost that much...) but just for caution.

I'm glad to hear that their not going to be as scarcely limited as the Yo-SD 4 sisters.

Volks outfits are just so wonderful (why do they have to be limited!).

It does seem like Volks' pictures have improved the settings which they're in or more ornate. I love the forest-like scene the Yos are in!

The velvet gives it that wonderful look doesn't it?

Oh, the Designer outfits are sooo gorgeous!!! Twilight Dream is my favorite!!! It's a perfect Princess dress!! And Eternal Rose is like a Victorian doll dress!! Doesn't it look like Shinku's dress? It's all so wonderful and exciting!!

 

I am planning to go to this event and have sent my email to Volks USA. I really can't believe I did this!
But I'm so excited!!!

Well my previous tour to Japan go canceled and I was feeling bummed until I saw the sign on the counter at Volks, so I thought why not?
There is actually four of us who put our names down from the US for this event. We'll find out in a week if we get to go. **crosses fingers**
I'm trying not to think about it, but hoping all the same.

 

I can't afford to go but I sure hope they offer some of the YoSDs as after event items. I won YoSD Nana at Dolpa NYC and she'd love to have a brother!

I'm sure everyone going will have a great time as Volks people as so very nice.

 

How exciting Izayoi! I will keep my fingers crossed for you as well. I hope you and your friends get to go and if you do, that you will tell us all about your trip.

Well, all seven yo are so cute. What does the original body mean? what's the difference?

 

I'm guessing it'll be like the origin body on the LE Kira that was recently released; non-jointed torso, slightly more arched back & such. But without seeing pictures I can't be sure...

 

Hmm, I see that only the girls are listed as "origin body".... I'm also guessing that it will be a Yo-sized version of the original SD body.

I can't remember if this was on the website or not, but I'll mention it here anyway; now that I have the form in my hands, it reaffirms that everyone attending is 100% guaranteed the dolls! However, the outfits are gonna be a lottery, so not everyone will get one

I know this may sound a little premature, but does anyone have an idea of whenthe AE would be for this event? I know a lot of US folks who are dying for those Yos.

 

...do you think there will be an AE? I've never heard of them doing one for their super-special events before (Huis ten Bouch/Cruise/etc.)

I honestly don't know. Hopefully they have one.

 

This isn't a Dolpa, so there wouldn't be a After Event. Anrui Ukimi is offering her services as a shopping service for some of the items though. You may probably see a few Yos for sale on the marketplace or YJ afterwards, so it's best to save up for them.

 

Awwww that's a tough blow. I would have loved one of these darlings but the after market prices on limiteds are just out of my price range. I'll keep my fingers crossed that my good dolly karma might bring one my way at a fair price.
