Thanks for the extra pics ria_ria! I was totally in love with the YO-girls' outfits when they were gray, but I don't really care for the blue at all. Guess that's good - less temptation for me to stalk them when they start showing up on Y!J. But it's great to see all the little YOs with their different slightly different faceups. Hopefully Volks will release more YOs here (in the US) in the future... they're friggin' adorable

 

You cannot choose how the sei/rei tenshi looks. You can only choose whether it`s a Sei or Rei.

I wonder if you can ask for the Sei/Rei to come in normal or white skin or if it's random. ^^; So many variables!

Thank you so much KimaLucifer, for all the information on this! I have been so curious about the Dream FCS and when I asked Volks they gave me no info on it.

I wonder if you can ask for pureskin versions of discontinued dolls -- ebony-skinned Unoss? Beauty white Ian? Pureskin versions of discontinued first type bodies? ^^ Can you ask for Seitenshi headmolds on YoTenshi bodies (Though I noticed there's no pricing for YoSDs so maybe you can't have them in Dream FCS)? ... I guess, not that I'll find out anytime soon! ^^;

 

Did anyone else notice that YoSD Sweet Dreams Nana, Nono and Mimi are Origin body versions?
It seems there is a new type of YoSD body. =)

EDIT: Actually, all of the girls have the YoSD Origin body, it's just written on different parts of their pages.

 

Yes Ria announced the Origin Body for Yo-SDs several pages back. All the girls have them, actually.

 

I'm very interested to see what the origin body is, I know what the other origin body type is.. but when it comes to Yos, all I can imagine are those little Rei Tenshi with their chubby little bellies, lol.

 

I wonder what the bodies look like as well...
From looking at the pictures of the Yo-SDs I saw that YO-SD Mimi was sitting in the cute pose Swarriko (I spelled that wrong...) bodies can do! That would be amazing if they had the same capabilities!

 

I wish there were a price for YO-SD Dream FCS so I could lust after a Yo-SD Cecile the Scarface. Not that I could afford it, though! XD Can you imagine the CUTE??

 

I don't think that they'd create an entirely new headmold, but that would be awesome!!!

I want to see the YoSD Origin Body so badly!!! Nono, Mimi, and Nana Sweet Dream are just so adorable!!! I already know what I would name them! Nono would be Seraphina. Mimi would be Claudia's little sister, Christabel. And Nana would be Ame [雨] (rain), Hana's sister. I can't wait for more information!!!

 

Those names are so pretty! I can't even calm myself down to decide upon a name! I love how all of their outfits are similar but slightly different in design.

 

What if you have a Volks membership but you don't live in Japan? I think I do. I'm not a 100% sure what I have but I think that's it. My Japanese friend came for a visit a couple years ago and filled out some papers that came with one of my dolls, then she sent me this little heart with a necklace in it that had my Megu's name in it...does anyone have any idea what that is?

 

Aw, thank you!! When I fall in love with a new doll, I instantly try to find the perfect name for them! I love their outfits too! They really do look like little elves or sprites!!

You must renew the membership card every year.

The heart necklace is something given to people who turn in a paper of ownership to volks.

As for the sei rei tenshi question, as I`ve said, you can ONLY choose whether it`s a sei or rei. No faceups, no skin color, nothing.

They also do not make new molds to fulfill requests. You can only strictly choose from the past headmolds possible and they will be in Pureskin.

Wow, excellent info, KimaLucifer! I didn't know about the Dream FCS being an option at previous Haus ten Bosch events, but that totally makes sense. I have a little more to add (yay for my mediocre skillz being enhanced by my awesome friends!)

You can choose either the Light Lunch OR Dinner Party, or have them chosen for you, but you can't do both. You can also choose neither. Those who do attend the parties will receive a "wonderful present", but there's no hints as to what it might be. You can also choose to eat at Chef Mickey with the Volks staff for breakfast the next day. It's limited seating, so if too many choose Chef Mickey, they'll do a lottery.

The first evening has a party on the top floor where everyone can mingle. It's just cocktails & such, but you get to mingle with all the Volks staff, including Mr. Shigeta! Anyone who attends the event can come to the party, too.

Also it looks like there'll be a special photo-op setup in the beautiful Rose Chapel, full of flowers & white marble, for attendees to use! I've seen pictures & wow, it's gorgeous I guess it's usually only for weddings, but hey, Volks has the whole hotel for the wknd, why not the chapel, too?

And the due date for the applications is November 3rd, so they gotta be sent in a few days before. I don't know if the deadline will be extended for those outside of Japan, though.

I'm sorry, I'm really really really confused...you can participate in the event even if you don't live in Japan? I'm sorry if I'm stupid and have over looked something but I'm SO confused.

All I know is I missed out on the four sister's YOs last time and I'm determined to get this Kira.

 

This event isn't online; it's an actual physical event at Tokyo Disneyland. So I doubt they'll have an After Event online, unfortunately.

I think they're included because each outfit seems to be unique. I hope they are!!!

 

I have a feeling the outfits are included since the dolls are part of the Dream Nights storyline. I dread the aftermarket prices on the dolls though. Those outfits are quite elaborate and cute. Hinaichigo cost more than Renee did directly from volks. The recent yos that came with outfits came with undies and people were remarking at the price. The origin body too may have the Japanese collectors bidding up the second market price.

 

Yes, the thought of their possible aftermarket price makes me nervous! I hope there is some way that non-attendies can order them, even if it doesn't include their costumes!!

 

Yes, the outfit set & shoes are included, and the price is 40,950yen for each. This price sounds quite reasonable, but you have to pay the cost for this hotel & Disney Land tour, so it would be hard to buy them for quite similar price from aftermarket. I wish the best luck to all of us...for the people who try the lottery & the people who wait for them in aftermarket.

 

I'm actually wondering if they will offer Nono, Mimi, Syo, and sWD Nana at the December dolpa but dressed as their standard SD counterparts It would definitely save volks having to come up with new dolls plus they offered Kun, Ryo, and Kira already.

Volks is driving me nuts... I'm wondering if I should just halt my doll spending completely in the teeny tiny hope that maybe someday they'll be re released for both locals and overseas people who cannot attend the event... Mimi! Nono! Nanaaaaa!!

There is a philosophy to getting Yo-SDs...you can't just have one, they're so small they need a friend the same size! But now that i think about it that's kind of my philosophy for buying any BJD...

I would love to go to this! I might actually be able to afford it though I'm not sure I know anyone who would be willing to go with me. Is there any info on how much the hotel/actual event costs? I only see prices for the yo-sds and class items.

I think we got the idea after the first post, Pacchan.

To become a Volks VIP member, you need to live in Japan. HOWEVER, they are allowing Volks USA members (and I assume Volks Korea members) to apply as well.

 

Pacchan, Volks VIP members have a special Volks credit card. VS or Volks Supporters pay a small fee. But if you are a Volks USA member, you can also enter to go to this event (since we don't have VS or VIP memberships here)

 

I'm sending out my group's applications by express mail tomorrow~ (Haven't asked for the day off work yet, but I'll get it somehow!)

 

You have to take the day off? I can disappear for a hour and a half around lunchtime, and no one cares here. :/ Hopefully you don't have to take your precious nenkyuu for us!
