Volks Owner Appreciation Event Tokyo Disneyland 09

OMG - those are the cutest YOs ever... and the outfits are friggin' adorable, too. Part of me hopes that they are offered as a lottery on the USA site (because hey my Kun would love a sister), and another part hopes they don't (because another doll is the last thing I need right now with the crashing economy and all).

Ooh, those Yos are so cute! But Im more curious if there will be a bigger doll for this event? If it's Snow White like a few people have already said, then I'm dying to see the Snow White girl. If it's the "aliens" folktale, then I'm unfamiliar but still curious about this obscure story.

I'm also loving the School D mold! February is so far away, which would give me enough time to save more than enough money!

Is anyone planning or hoping on attending this event as well? Mass exodus for Yos ensue!

I just figure that with it being at Disney, they'll do a Disney-made fairytale. And with seven of the lil guys, Snow White is the obvious choice. But I'd be all for a Sleeping Beauty set!

 

Ha! It'd be so weird to fly to Japan to attend Disney Tokyo when I'm 30 minutes from the original Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. But I'd hope that Snow White would be a whiteskin SD16 girl or an SD13 girl.

 

Oh, I'd be so happy if they ever used Sleeping Beauty as a theme!!! It's my favorite fairytale!!

is the VS member that card you get when you buy anything?
I'm in Japan, and financially a February event works way better than the (as yet no date?) December Tokyo Dolpa for me...but if I have to get an application in by Nov. 3 I better get right on it!

At the Volks USA store, they had a flyer that said that you had to be VIP or VS or Volks USA member to attend the event. So if you have a Volks USA card you can go.

If there is a rumor of a SD16 Snow White, will Volks make her Prince as well? Or wicked queen? I'm going to cross my fingers and hopes Volks at least creates a SD17 Prince for Snow White!

I hope it's true about the Volks USA members being able to go....if so, then I will be planning a trip to Tokyo =)

 

Syo has such a cute baby face already that it makes a simply adorable Yo, and Yo SwD Nana is too sweet for words! I'll just sit tight and see what releases Volks will do for these dolls. The scheduled release for them is still a long way off, leaving plenty of room for saving!

Sorry Bliss, but to get VS/VIP membership you need to have a mailing address in Japan so that Volks can send you various leaflets and pieces of information. ;;_;;

To apply, you can just go to any Volks store in Japan and pay I think 1200 yen to get VS membership. I believe the only difference between VS and VIP members is a VIP membership entails a Volks credit card as well.

It's bad. Really bad. I just put YoKun on layaway a couple of days ago and now I'll be saving for a chance at YoNono as soon as lil'Kun is paid off.
I really like YoMimi too though, that hair is darling. I wonder how limited they will be?

I called Volks today and they are going to put something up on the VolksUSA website soon about this event for Volks USA members who want to go.

I called VOLKSUSA today about the Yo's, and IF/WHEN they are planning on getting these new darlings in. Thus far, they have NO record of them coming in for the November event, or future events. Of course, I was told that this is not to say that they are NOT getting any. It just means they weren't INFORMED of them as of yet. So I have my fingers crossed!! I'm hoping they will release the little NONO sometime before Feb 09, to all people! I'm dieing to have her!! Y^Y heh.

 

I'm dying here, I want the new School D head! I keep pondering if I should go... But my poor wallet! I seriously want all the Yo's... So cute.

Ha! I was at the store around 1:30PM today, and I think that it must have been you who called while I was speaking with the staff. You are definitely right about this event being available for Volks USA members, since there are advertisements for this event for USA members inside the store.

I'm with you on loving the new School D! I think it would be almost impossible to join the faceup class, since there is no translator if we only know English. Well, I only know English as my Japanese is fragmented and simple at best. If a group of English owners sign up for the faceup class, then do you think that Volks would have an English interpreter available?

Oh! Are you planning on attending this event too? Im entertaining the thought of going for this event, so it would be amazing to see and hang out with you again!
